Remy Ma is the Queen of Rap Music

I don't care what anyone says, but right now, Remy Ma is the queen of rap. She successfully dethroned Nicki Minaj when she released her Nicki Minaj diss song, Shether two weeks ago. It took Nicki Minaj two weeks to respond to Remy, and she had to go get Drake and Lil Wayne on the song, so that their fans will also help get her more popularity. This isn't a popularity contest, neither is it about who has more money, or more friends in the industry...this is a rap battle, period! And right now, Remy Ma has proven without a reasonable doubt, that when it comes to rapping, she is better than Nicki Minaj, and this makes her the queen of rap.

Puff Daddy Becomes Hip Hop's First Billionaire

I think it's about time. I mean, this man has been worth half a billion for damn near 15 years. How hard can it be to add another half a billion, right? lol! I guess it really is hard, but glad to know that Mr. Sean Combs. Puff Daddy, A.K.A P Diddy is the first billionaire in Hip Hop.

He celebrated this with a short video he posted on Youtube a few hours ago. And yea, for those saying Dr. Dre is the first Hip Hop billionaire, sorry to bust your bubble, Dre is still worth about $710,000. Yea, he sold his Beats By Dre for $3 billion dollars, but Jimmy Iovine had an equal share of that money, and after taxes, the money he got was about $600 million.

Things are changing, and people are becoming more liberal towards the LGBT community in Hip Hop. Of cos, there is still no openly gay male rapper doing rap music, but there are a couple of gay female rappers that are doing their thing right now.

Although many suspect, it has never been confirmed that Queen Latifah is a lesbian, so she isn't on this list. The three that made this list have proudly embraced their sexuality, and the world has accepted them that way. Below are the three hottest lesbian and bisexual rappers in Hip Hop.

Mysonne Comments on Game and Meek Mill Beef

In a recent interview with Allhiphop.com, New York rapper, Mysonne spoke on the ongoing beef between Meek Mill, and Game. His wish is that it stays on wax and doesn't spill into the streets. Read his words below.

“We as men will always have our differences. When the ego stings and testosterone flares, we might not be able to let it go. I love the competition, the battle, the bars, but when it turns into beef, we all know how these kinds of things play out. The Game and Meek Mill are two men with strong street influence getting into a no-win situation.

At one time, you could ask for a “fair one” and after the fight, it would end there. But we live in an era where any coward can resort to shooting because they’re scared. While I’m not suggesting that either of these Kings are cowards–and I know them both so I’m going to say they aren’t–but there are people who will use this situation to try and get stripes and that will only create a serious war. We are already at war with the enemy, so we can not afford to be at war with each other.

AR-AB Says He Hopes the Game and Meek Mill Beef Doesn't Get Violent

Right now, what is buzzing in the hip hop world is the beef between Meek Mill and Game. Meek Mill is from Philly, and ThisIs50.com got another Philly rapper for an interview three days ago, and they asked him what he feels about the beef, and he was like...

"It's two different coast...L.A, there's real dudes out there, there's real killers out there. A lot of them workout, get buff, wanna fight. You talk about Philly, everything is the gun. I don't give a fuck...it's like, you probably never get a fight out of a Philly nigga. They gon bring the gun. Everything is the gun in Philly. Straight to the gun...If you got to Philly, a year and the half, you not gon' see one fight. Everything is straight to the gun" (This Is 50 Interview)

I wanted to go with this title- Kendrick Lamar Begs Lil Wayne Not to Retire from Rap- but it would have sounded awkward to some Kendrick fans. Really, that is how it appears in this video of Kendrick ranting in the studio. The video leaked online a few days ago, and it shows Kendrick rapping to old Lil Wayne songs from back in the Hot Boyz era (99-2000), and then it skips to where Kendrick is talking about Lil Wayne wanting to retire, and almost threatening Wayne not to do so.

Redman Says 90s Era in Hip Hop Was Aggressive

One of my favorite rappers of all time, Redman just dropped a new album (Mudface), and as a promotional tool he was on Power 105.1 radio a few weeks ago. He got talking about the difference between the 90s era, and this present era, and he said...

"90s era was aggressive. Like we didn't have the internet to talk crap through, you know. We...You know, when we said we was gonna get you, we was gonna get you. And that meant, being at your shows. When you are doing your...when you're doing your practice before the show, we'd meet you at your sound...your soundcheck. Like this was real. It wasn't no backing out of it." That's so true. Everything is a addressed on Twitter these days. I don't support violence, but I would love more back and forth diss songs, instead of the Twitter beefs.

BJ The Chicago Kid Says He Doesn't Have a Problem With Ghostwriting in Hip Hop

Since this ghostwriting topic became a big deal in hip hop when Meek Mill went at Drake for using ghostwriters, a lot of people have given their opinion on it, and it is very funny to note that more than 90% of actual musicians don't have a problem with it. For real! And BJ The Chicago Kid is one of the latest musicians to voice his opinion on the issue, and he too doesn't have a problem with it. He let this be known during his interview on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club show last week.

In case you don't know him, he is a singer from Chicago (obviously) who has worked with a lot of 'A list' rappers like Dr. Dre, ScHoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and a host of other rappers. He also writes for other musicians, so it was only right that the people at The Breakfast Club show would ask him what he felt about ghostwriting in Hip Hop.

Waka Flocka Blames Black People For the Way They Are Treated By Police

In his recent interview on Hot 97 radio show with Ebro, Waka Flocka talks about how black people's acts are the cause of why the police treat them badly. In the interview, he is basically saying, you are treated the way you portray yourself. He spoke about most African Americans from the ghetto posting all their illegal moves on social media, and being surprised when they get arrested. Waka has been off the hip hop scene for a while now, and I think it has worked out well for him, cos he seems a lot wiser now.

Gunplay Gives His Opinion on Ghostwriting in Hip Hop

Defjam artists/Rick Ross's long time associate, Gunplay recently gave his opinion on ghostwriting in Hip Hop. Ever since Drake got exposed by Meek Mill for using a ghostwriter (Quentin Miller), a lot of discussions have gone down on whether or not it is cool for a rapper to use a ghostwriter. Gunplay finally got to drop his debut album, Living Legend a couple of weeks ago (after being a ghostwriter for a long time), and during his interview with The Breakfast Club last month, he was asked what he thought about ghostwriting in Hip Hop, and he said...

Cassidy Ways in On Ghostwriting in Hip Hop

Since Meek Mill exposed Drake for using ghostwriters for majority of his songs, including the verse he laced on R.I.C.O (a song on Meek;s latest album), rapping have been giving their opinion on the issue of a rapper using a ghostwriter. In his recent phone-in interview with DJ VLad, Cassidy gave his 2 cents on the issue.

"It's been plenty of rappers that I have liked they music my whole life before I knew them and then when I got a chance to meet them they wanted me to write for them. So I'm like 'Damn.' I'm writing for niggas that I look up to because I always thought they was crazy, but it wasn't really them that was crazy. It was them and a group of niggas, whoever they was working with at the time, that got them crazy or played a part in them getting crazy..."

Hmm! And it gets more interesting. "

Hip Hop music has no tolerance for homosexuals because of the natural machismo manner most rappers carry themselves. So, it has always been hard for you to have an openly gay rapper in Hip Hop. Although in the last few years, female rappers like Angel Haze, and Azealia Banks have been very open about their sexuality (they are bisexuals), but the male folks in Hip Hop find it harder to come out the closet.

I remember reading an article where Fat Joe said he has definitely worked with a closet Gay rapper before, and I went through all his collaborations (a long list I must say), but I couldn't figure out who that Gay rapper was. Anyway, I wrote this post with the aim of naming some rappers that have been rumored to be Gay and have you my readers shed more light on the story.

From the way he dresses, to some of his Instagram posts, it is almost obvious that Young Thug is Gay. But some people believe he just puts on that facade to get people talking about him, so he can milk the attention he gets. Well, I don't know. But he sure hasn't come out to say whether or not he is Gay.

Check out this rare Hip Hop pic from the mid 90s of the late Eazy E and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Eric "Eazy-E" Wright actually signed Bone Thugs to Ruthless Records a few years before he died.

Men! I used to be a big Bone fan in my teens. I would memorize all their fast raps and rap it for anyone that cared to listen; it actually got me a little popularity in school back in the day.

Behind Eazy from the left is Krayzie Bone, Lazy Bone, Bizzy Bone...and I am guessing Wish Bone was cut out of the pic mistakenly, but he probably was there next to the youngest Bone, Bizzy. The 'on and off' member, who was actually the real founder of the group, Flesh Bone was never really with them most of the time.
