Kendrick Lamar Anrgy at Lil Wayne for Wanting to Retire from Rap Music

I wanted to go with this title- Kendrick Lamar Begs Lil Wayne Not to Retire from Rap- but it would have sounded awkward to some Kendrick fans. Really, that is how it appears in this video of Kendrick ranting in the studio. The video leaked online a few days ago, and it shows Kendrick rapping to old Lil Wayne songs from back in the Hot Boyz era (99-2000), and then it skips to where Kendrick is talking about Lil Wayne wanting to retire, and almost threatening Wayne not to do so.

Below are some of what Kendrick said in the video.

"We are in the muthafucking studio. 5:30 in the muthafucking morning. 5:32 to be exact...We going all the way back nigga. When he (Lil Wayne) was muthafucking 16, 15 years old, nigga. On some Hot Boyz shit, nigga. Day one. Nigga, we in the muthafucking studio...bitch you got the juice nigga, we off the juice right now, nigga. Live and direct, nigga. Vibing like a muthafucker, nigga. Nigga talking about retiring and shit, nigga, FUCK THAT!!! Nigga. Retire, quitting rap, whatever you want to call it, nigga. Fuck that, nigga!" (Youtube Video)

The video jumped into where he is rapping more Lil Wayne songs after this, and then it jumps back into another Kendrick rant session.

"I'm in the muthafucking studio doing muthafucking features, nigga. You know. Nigga, I seen you, nigga, 2007, nigga. 2008. Nigga, I seen you knockout muthafucking 10 muthafucking features in a roll, nigga. Back to back, nigga. I'm in this muthafucka right now, nigga. Nigga. Muthafucker. What the fuck you talking about boi! This muthafucking man. No nigga! Nooo! No! NO! NO!! NO!!! Nigga, no." (Youtube Video)

lol! Yea, I had to do my best to depict how he sounded in the video. He sounded like he was going to die if Wayne retired. lol! It is really funny to see Kendrick  this way.

True, Wayne was on fire back in 2007-2008. I was a huge fan. Yea, I heard him for a while back in the 90s and early 2000s when he was with the Hot Boyz, but I became a real fan around 2005-2008, watching his progression as a rapper. Dude was doing features like no other, and he wasn't sounding burned out. It is clear Kendrick Lamar was/is a huge fan. I have always known Kendrick had some Wayne in him; and some Andre 3000, Eminem, and maybe sprinkled with a little Nas story telling abilities.
