Before mentioning the top 5 richest rappers in 2019, he talked about a few rappers that almost made the list. In the list of those rappers were Birdman, Eminem, and Nas. He said if Drake didn't have such a big year, Nas would have been at the number 5 spot, instead of Drake.

Anyway, below are the top 5 richest rappers in 2019 according to Forbes.

5.  Drake ($150 Million)

4.  Kanye West ($240 Million)

3.  P Diddy ($740 Million)

Birdman Says In The Beginning He Just Wanted to Get Out of The Ghetto

Birdman (Bryan Williams) is the co-owner/co-founder of Cash Money Records, one of the most successful record companies in Hip Hop history. He has all the kind of cars you can think about, is worth over 100 million dollars, and lives a lavish lifestyle. This man came from nothing, but now he is a multi millionaire. In his recent interview on the Drink Champs podcast, one of the hosts of the podcast, Nore asked him if he ever thought he would be this big, and he answered with...

"You have expectations, but when you're living it it's something totally different. You know, our first expectations was just getting out of the ghetto. And then, as you're living, you know, everyday of life is an experience because you've never lived life like this. You heard me. I come from the slums with this sh*t. So, anyone of these artists they come from the slums too so every day of life is an experience because n*gga never lived life like this. So for me, nah, I didn't think it, but once I seen we could do it, I went for it."

Nice. I wish to talk like this some time in the near future too.

You can watch the full interview below...he talks about his expectations of success around the 21 minute mark.

New Video- Breeze (Birdman & Juvenile)

Cash Money Records first superstar artist, Juvenile signed back with the label in 2014, and has been releasing new music ever since. Two weeks ago, he released a joint album with Birdman, titled Just Another Gangsta. They have been releasing singles/videos from the album over the the last couple of months, and yesterday, they released a new single/video off the album titled Breeze.

Birdman Speaks on How Lil Wayne Motivated Him When He Was Down

For those that that don't know, Lil Wayne signed with Birdman's Cash Money Records back in 1995, when he was just 12 years old. Cash Money started popping about 3-4 years later, with Juvenile as the biggest rapper on the roaster, and The Hot Boys (Juvenile, BG, Young Turk, and Lil Wayne) doing their thing. But, everything went downhill when people started to leave the label. They were one of the hottest cliques in the late 90s, but by the early 2000s, rappers started leaving the label. Juvenile left, BG left...at a point, it was just Birdman, Mannie Fresh (Artist/Producer), and Lil Wayne. At that point, Birdman was distraught as he had put in his blood, sweat, and tears to build up those artists. While he was down, he said Lil Wayne said something to him that woke him up. He said this during his recent interview on Nore and DJ EFN's show, Drink Champs.

Read his words on this below...

"When all that sh*t took place brah, it kind of f*ck&d with me cos I never thought it could happen. N*ggas would just go separate knowing how hard we come up and we really started with nothing and I blessed n*ggas. I gave my life to this sh*t. Honestly I put my everything on line. If I was going to die, I was going to die. If I had to kill I was going to...Whatever had to be done, I was with that sh*t. So, when it did happen, Wayne came to me like...cos I was in my feelings about this sh*t like, y'all n*ggas know what it is. N*gga y'all know what it is. He was like, 'men! F*ck them n*ggas men! I'm better than all them n*ggas together anyway.' That sh*t woke me up. I said, 'you know what, you're right. F*ck them n*ggas. Let's go.' And that sh*t turned me up. We ain't never look back."

Birdman Speaks on His Gift For Recognizing Talented Rappers Early

Birdman is the cofounder of one of the biggest record labels in Hip Hop history, Cash Money Records. Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj are some of the biggest rappers on the Cash Money roaster, and they are definitely some of the biggest rappers in rap music history. In his recent Drink Champs interview, one of the hosts of the show, Nore asked him about his gift for recognizing talent in rappers before the rest of the world does, and he said...

"I just think it's one of my gifts brah. You know. I can see that sh*t before they see it in their self. And I believe in it and I give my all to it and we ride with it till we make it happen brah. That doesn't mean that it's going to happen fast. We ain't come up in the social media era, you heard me. You had to do that shit in a different way. But i think it's just one of my gifts brah...If I feel it, I'm going with it, I ain't gonna think twice about it. And I think one of my blessings is that I was an artist and I know how artists think and what they need to paint, how they paint their picture. And I let a n*gga do their thing and I get out the way."

Nice breakdown. I particularly liked where he said 'that doesn't mean that it's going to happen fast.' I don't think rappers nowadays understand the kind of grind Lil Wayne had to put in before he became one of the biggest rappers in the world. He started as a member of the Hotboyz in 1998, and he didn't blow up big time till 2008. Think about that. 10 years of consistent grind paid off, but there were days I'm sure he wanted to give up on the whole rap thing, but he kept going.

Birdman Says Russell Simmons Refused Signing Cash Money Back in the Day

Byan "Birdman" Williams is a multi millionaire right now, and the co-owner of one of the most successful labels in Hip Hop history (Cash Money Records), but there was a time in the mid 90s he and his brother (Ronald "Slim" Williams) were looking for a home for their record company. They got refused by Russell Simmons (Co-founder of Def Jam Records) and a host of other record label execs, before they got a deal with Universal Music Group.

He spoke about being refused by Russell Simmons during his recent Forbes interview. Read his words below...

"Before we even got with Universal right, we met with everybody. A lot of them refused us bro. Russell Simmons refused us. I met with him personally. Lyor (Cohen), all those guys. They refused us. But, we was already making a million dollars a month. We was making millions of dollars independently. We refused to allow structure deal where they take anything from us."

That's the thing with life. A lot of people don't see your vision and won't want to invest in you, but you have to believe in yourself and keep pushing. Like Birdman and his brother, they finally got with Universal Music Group, and signed one of the best deals in Hip Hop music history. Read his words on this below...

"We end up doing a distribution deal where it was 85/15. And we owned 100% our masters and 100% our company...The same people that refused us, today they wish they would have signed us."

Birdman Says To Be Successful in the Music Business is Not Easy

Yup. That's what Birdman said in his recent interview with Forbes. He says people think it is easy to be successful in the music business, but it is really not. In case you don't know, back in 1991, Birdman (Bryan 'Baby' Williams), and his brother, Ronald 'Slim' Williams founded Cash Money Records. Since then, the label has had a long list of multi platinum selling artists, including, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj. According to cofounder Ronald Williams, the company has generated $2 billion since inception in 1991 (28 years ago).

Below are Birdman's words concerning how they make things look easy, but it is really not.

"We make this sh*t look easy, but it's really not. Well if you try it, you will see. Try your record company and see. We just make it look easy cos we've been doing it for so long. And we're great at what we do but I'll tell anybody who foresee this sh*t in the wrong aspect, try it. And you'll see what it's built on."

New Video: Dreams (Birdman, Juvenile feat. NLE Choppa)

Rapper Juvenile has been on and off Cash Money so many times, but he has currently been on the label for a while in recent times. Anyway, it is good to see him back where he started off. I remember when he had Cash Money on his back. He was definitely the hottest rapper on the Cash Money roster at a point in the late 90s.

Lil Wayne Files $20 Million Lawsuit Against Former Lawyer for Overcharging Him

According to TMZ, superstar rapper, Lil Wayne is suing his former lawyer, $20 million dollars for overcharging him. It's kind of funny to think of a lawyer being sued. Anyway, the lawyer's name is Ronald Sweeney, and Wayne started using him as far back as 2005, and they caught ties September, 2018.

The man charged Lil Wayne 10% for every deal closed, and now that Wayne has found out that the industry standard is 5%, he wants to get the man back for all he was cheated out of.

New Music: Rick Ross feat. Chris Rock- Idols Become Rivals (Birdman Diss)

We all know Lil Wayne has been having problems with his adopted father and boss, Birdman, A.K.A Baby, A.K.A Brian Williams. We also know that Rick Ross and Wayne are kinda close. In several interviews, Ross has always let the world know how he felt about Birdman doing Wayne dirty, and on this song (Idols Become Rivals), he disses Birdman.

Pictures of Birdman's Cars (2017)

Brian 'Birdman' Williams, A.K.A Baby is one of the richest Hip Hop mogul's in the game. When you think of the fact that he owns the masters of some of the biggest rappers in the game in the last 10 years- Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and he makes money anytime they make money, then you have an idea how much this man really has. He started Cash Money Records with his brother, Ronald 'Slim' Williams in the early 90s, and they built the label into an empire. The man has dozens of cars, but we are only going to focus on his most luxurious cars today.

Charlamagne Speaks on Staying Calm During Interview with Birdman

A couple of months ago, Birdman went on The Breakfast Club show all angry at radio host, Charlamagne, and he kept repeating, 'put some respek on my name.' That phrase has become very popular since then. But what really caught my attention from that 2:30 seconds interview was the fact that Charlamagne was calm all through, even though Birdman was obviously angry at him and had come to the radio station with about half a dozen of his goons. So, why was Charlamage so calm? He answered it in an interview on VLAD TV.

Granted, this interview is about 4-5 months old, but I just saw it lately, and I thought it would be interesting to share it. VLAD himself asked him how come he was so calm, and he answered with...

"I'm the radio guy. You know what I'm saying. I'm not out here proclaiming to be a thug. Am not out here proclaiming to be a gangster. I ain't ever told nobody 'pull up on me, you gone see what's up...what's what.' You know. I'm a man at the end of the day. But go pull up on the guys that's being tough with you. Trick Daddy came to the Breakfast Club and said you don't know if you want to be a Blood or a Crip. You don't know whether you want to be a boyfriend or a girlfriend. Why run up on the radio guy?" (VLAD TV Interview)

Throwback Pic of Birdman and Lil Wayne

Birdman and Lil Wayne might be going through their dispute, but it don't stop Baby from wishing Weezy a happy birthday. Today is Lil Wayne's 34th birthday and Birdman took time out to wish him a happy birthday a couple of hours ago on Instagram, and also shared this throwback picture of them with the message. I am guessing this was like late 90s. Wayne was probably like 16 years old in this picture.

Is 'Birdman' Gay?

Birdman, A.K.A Baby, A.K.A Brian Williams, co-founder of Cash Money Records twitted the photo you can see below some hours ago. What do you think? Is this man Gay? You know the gay alert has been on him all along when photos of him and Lil Wayne kissing hit the Internet some years back. He defended him kissing Wayne as a way of showing fatherly love to his adopted son, Weezy F Baby. And then he dumped Wayne, and started hanging around another suspect looking rapper, Young Thug. And now this picture? Hmm!

Are Birdman and Young Thug Trying to Kill Lil Wayne?

For months now, things between Lil Wayne and his former boss and father figure, Brian 'Birdman' Williams hasn't been so cool. Well, technically speaking, Birdman is still Wayne's boss, cos he hasn't let him out of his contract with Cash Money Records. But, that is not news right now; what is news right now is allegations made against Young Thug and Baby being behind the shooting of Lil Wayne's Tour bus back in April. This is according to Atlanta TV guy, Mike Petchenik.

Check out Petchenik's Tweets to this account below.

What Are Your Thoughts on the Lil Wayne and Baby Beef?

Asides from the fact that they had money issues, no one really knows what triggered the whole Lil Wayne and Baby beef. Wayne is currently on a "Fuck Cash Money" stint, and it is still shocking to me cos of how close he and Baby were. I mean, the man practically adopted Wayne when he signed him to Cash Money at 13 years old. Wayne is meant to be like the heir to the throne. So, what happened to make family members disagree to the point where they can't patch things up?

Just last month, I cut of the oldest friend I have on this earth, so I know no friendship lasts forever; but still, this whole war in the Cash Money empire baffles me. Wayne practically grew up in Cash Money studios, and when everyone left after the fall of the label (around the early 2000s), Baby kept investing his time and money in Wayne. And eventually, Wayne turned around and made millions for the company...virtually carrying the company on his back. And even going on to sign Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Tyga to his Young Money imprint, which raised Cash Money to new heights in the music industry. So, why would money come between this father and son?

Well, on second thought, what could come between father and son if not money, or a woman. We know the first element is there, but some people are making some allegations that Wayne got pissed with Baby when Young Thug came into the picture. People are painting a picture of Young Thug being Baby's new lover...assuming Wayne and Baby were gay lovers. Of course, all that's just rumor anyway.

Right now, I just wonder how they handle business side of things. Lil Wayne is meant to have dropped his Tha Carter 5 album since last year, but because of the whole internal beef thing, the label has put that on hold. And worse, they are planning to release Young Thug's new album, titled Carter 6. Hmm! This is definitely a swipe at Wayne. They are trying to hurt his legacy with this move. Not fair, if you ask me.

I wonder what will happen to the artists under Young Money...Tyga, Nicki, Drake, and the likes...will they go with Wayne when he eventually leaves Cash Money, or will they be held down at Cash Money, contractually? Hmm!

Lil Wayne Nolonger Wants Anything to Do With Baby and Cashmoney Records

Yesterday afternoon, a series of shocking Tweets from Lil Wayne's Twitter handle indicated that he wanted out of his Cash Money contract. Could this be true, or a publicity stunt for his Carter 5 album which is set to drop in a couple of weeks?

Read the series of Tweets before I speak more on this.

Birdman Addresses Drake and Tyga Beef

Tyga and Drake are YMCMB...Which means they are both signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money label, which is under Cash Money Records. So, it is shocking that Tyga has been dissing Drake in interviews and on songs lately. YMCMB boss, Baby, A.K.A Birdman spoke on the whole charade yesterday, during his interview on New York's Hot 97 Radio Show.

During the course of the interview, he got asked what he thinks of the whole Tyga and Drake rift, and he said...

“Tyga know where he stand in this game compared to Drake. Numbers don’t lie. Let’s just keep it 1,000. I got all the love and respect for Tyga. That’s been my little bro... My intake is—I’m family orientated, either you’re in or you’re out. If you out, you’re an outcast to me. If you’re in, we family. It’s on you to choose your side, man. To me, it ain’t no 'on and off' switch with me. You with us or you ain’t, you know? You gotta choose your side. But it’s always respect for Tyga. I got nothing but respect for
Tyga.”

Birdman Gives Updates on Nicki Minaj's Third Album

Cash Money boss, Birdman/Baby gave updates on Nicki Minaj's upcoming third album during his recent interview with Billboard. He said although Nicki Minaj hasn't picked a release date for the album yet, he guarantees that it is dropping before the end of the year. He also added that Lil Wayne's Carter 5 would probably drop before Nicki's album.

"For the new album, she's doing what she feels like doing and we're supporting her. You hear a lot of growth in her music. She's coming confident and hard. We expect for this to be one of the biggest from her. It's more rap. This album is going to have a little bit of everything but more rap. I am sure some of the team will be on it. She's still doing her thing, then getting features on it. She's definitely coming this year. She hasn't picked a date yet. What she did for Young Money is totally different then what she's doing for her album. She's more girly-er. 'Tha Carter V' will definitely come before Nicki's." (Billboard)

Baby Gets His Daughter a Benz G Class SUV For Her 16th Birthday Present

Over the weekend, Baby (Birdman) threw a big party for his daughter, Bria Williams. The celebration for the 16 year old went down at a club in Miami. A four-feet tall cake and Justin Bieber singing happy birthday (via video) were really the icing on the cake; the biggest gift of the night was the 2014 Mercedes-Benz G Class SUV (valued at $120,000) that Brian 'Baby' Williams got for his daughter. Check out the picture of the car below, along with pictures from the party.
