Birdman Says In The Beginning He Just Wanted to Get Out of The Ghetto

Birdman (Bryan Williams) is the co-owner/co-founder of Cash Money Records, one of the most successful record companies in Hip Hop history. He has all the kind of cars you can think about, is worth over 100 million dollars, and lives a lavish lifestyle. This man came from nothing, but now he is a multi millionaire. In his recent interview on the Drink Champs podcast, one of the hosts of the podcast, Nore asked him if he ever thought he would be this big, and he answered with...

"You have expectations, but when you're living it it's something totally different. You know, our first expectations was just getting out of the ghetto. And then, as you're living, you know, everyday of life is an experience because you've never lived life like this. You heard me. I come from the slums with this sh*t. So, anyone of these artists they come from the slums too so every day of life is an experience because n*gga never lived life like this. So for me, nah, I didn't think it, but once I seen we could do it, I went for it."

Nice. I wish to talk like this some time in the near future too.

You can watch the full interview below...he talks about his expectations of success around the 21 minute mark.
