Yesterday afternoon, a series of shocking Tweets from Lil Wayne's Twitter handle indicated that he wanted out of his Cash Money contract. Could this be true, or a publicity stunt for his Carter 5 album which is set to drop in a couple of weeks?
Read the series of Tweets before I speak more on this.

Hmm! When celebrities tweet about something personal that has been bugging them for a while, they usually delete it afterwards. But these Lil Wayne revelation Tweets have been up for 15 hours now. If his account was hacked, he would have found a way to let his fans know that. And I am feeling if what he is saying is true, Baby (Birdman) would have gotten to him to make amends (and maybe buy him a new Bugatti, and give him some cash or something), but these Tweets being up till now might mean it is all a publicity stunt to get people talking about Wayne and Carter 5. Wayne has been trending on Twitter since he put up those Tweets 15 hours ago.
Originally, Carter 5 had been scheduled to drop on December 9th, next week Tuesday. With this news, I don't think it would still be dropping on that day. Or, this might be a way to hype up the album, then it will surprise people when it drops that day. But really, if all Wayne said in the Tweets is true, I feel for him. There is nothing more frustrating to a creative person than not being able to do exactly what you want, how you want, with your art.
Lil Wayne has been signed to Cash Money Records all his rapping life...since he was 13, and he is now 32; I think I would understand if he wants to go some place else, or just be his own boss.
