The long awaited album from Lil Wayne, Tha Carter 5 has finally gotten a release date. Much more than that, Wayne also revealed the cover-art for the album on ESPN Sports Center today. According to Wayne, Tha Carter 5 is set to drop on the 28 of October. 












From Tha Carter 3, Lil Wayne started using his baby pictures as his album covers...this is a lil stretch further on that concept, with the addition of his mother to the cover. Nice! His mom sure was young when she had Wayne. 

Young Jeezy's 'Seen It All: The Autobiography' Tracklist

Jeezy is about to drop his fifth album, Seen It All: The Autobiography, and the tracklist just hit the Internet. Game Lets Fans Design His 'Year Of The Wolf' Album Cover

A lot of rappers are independent right now, and Game is definitely one of them. This situation helps the artists make decisions of their own and move at their own pace. Game is dropping a new project on the 16th of September titled 'Year of the Wolf' (a compilation album) and he has given his fans on Instagram the opportunity to design the album cover-art. The album is to be released via his label, Blood Money Entertainment. Check out what Game had to say say about this, and also peep one of the entries below.

Nice concept. It's a win win situation for Game. He gets to pick the best cover for his album at no cost, and satisfies his fans by getting them involved in his work. It also builds anticipation for the album. 'Year of the Wolf' is basically a compilation album; a Game and friends album. It would probably also showcase the two artists signed to his Blood Money Entertainment label...Skeme, and Dubb. Two singles have been released from the project so far; Bigger Than Me, and Or Nah.

Wale's third album, The Gifted is set for a next month release...June 25th to be precise. This will definitely be a big release for Rick Ross's MMG Label when it drops in June. Wale's last album, Ambition (2011) did good commercially, selling over 500,000 copies in the U.S.

Ray J's New Single to be Titled 'I Hit It First"- An Indirect Jab At Kim Kardashian & Kanye

Ray J is releasing a new single titled "I hit It First", which is a direct jab a Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's relationship. It is almost like the drama surrounding Kim Kardashian wont ever go away. In case you have forgotten or don't know, Kim Kardashian become popular in 2007, when a sex tape she made with her then boyfriend, Ray J leaked to the internet. She has gone on to date bigger men, put her whole family on, and have a multi-million dollar empire, but the past keeps coming back to hunt her.













She is currently pregnant with Kanye's baby, and you would think Ray J would let this whole thing go. But, no way, he still wants to milk the controversy one last time. Big Boi is one half of the legendary rap group, Outkast. Apart from a couple of guest appearances here and there, Andre 3,000 (the other half) has been off the hip-hop scene for the last couple of years, doing his acting thing. So, it is only right Big Boi do his solo thing. This is actually his second solo album, and it's titled "Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours". His first solo album was in 2010- Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty.


Below is what he had to say about the album-

"The overall theme [of Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors] is making the best tunes on the planet," he said. "I've always been dedicated to making this Jedi rap shit, we are Jedis, this is elite street Dungeon Family action, and we just take pride in what we do. We love our fans, we've been here for a minute, we gonna be here and we ain't going nowhere. You feel me? That's how we do it…I've [also] got a coffee table book around the time the album comes out."
