Official First Week Sales of DJ Khaled's "Khaled Khaled" Album

DJ Khaled's 12th album, "Khaled Khaled" sold 95,011 copies first week, and earned him a number one spot on Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week. This will be Khaled's third number one album. His 2016 and 2017 albums (Major Key, and Grateful) also debuted at number one on the Billboard chart.

First Week Sales Prediction of DJ Khaled's "Khaled Khaled" Album

DJ Khaled's 12th album, "Khaled Khaled" is dropping on Friday, and I want to attempt to predict what it would sell in its first week. Khaled's albums usually debut top 5 on Billboard, and sell between 90-140k first week. His last album, Father of Asahd (2019) sold 136,000 copies first week when it dropped two years ago. I feel this one might not sell as much as "Father of Asahd" in it's first week, but it will sell more over time. Khaled says he has a secret for the people on the album that he can't quite talk about because he signed a 'non disclosure agreement.' I have a feeling he has a Nas and Jay Z collab song on the album.

I predict DJ Khaled's 12th studio album, "Khaled Khaled" would sell between 100-120k first week. We will know how accurate I am by the end of next week.

DJ Khaled's Major Key Album Goes "Platinum"

DJ Khaled has released 11 studio albums since his first one, "Listennn...the Album" dropped in 2006. He released his 9th album, "Major Key" in 2016, and the album went Gold before the end of the year. But it took it three years to go Platinum.

Kash Dolls Talks About Opening Up For Beyonce During On The Run 2 Tour

Beyonce and Jay Z had the sequel to their joint tour, On the Run, the On the Run 2 Tour last year from June to October, and Kash Doll had the opportunity to open up for Beyonce twice at the San Diego stop of the tour in September, 2018. The Detroit rapper narrated how this came about during her recent The Angie Martinez Show interview a few days ago.

What had happened was that she had a cousin that danced for Beyonce during the tour, and the cousin told her how she could open for Beyonce during the DJ Khaled set of the tour. Read her words on this below.

"She like, 'I'ma see if you can go on Khaled's set.' I'm like, 'what you mean?' She like, 'cuz, some people, if they like you enough, you know, you could open up.' I'm like, 'open up for who?' She like, 'on Khaled's set for Beyonce and Jay Z.' I'm like, 'Girl! Okay, let me know.'...Beyonce, Jay Z, DJ Khaled, they don't know me. This is what I'm thinking. So she like, umm...she calls me back the next day like, 'cousin you won't believe it.' I'm like, 'what cousin?' Cos we call each other cousin. I'm like, 'what cousin?' She like, 'so DJ Khaled and them said you could come and you could come perform a song.' I'm like, 'I can perform a song, where?' So she telling me...I call my team, 'I'm opening for Beyonce. O my Gad! This sh*t's crazy. DADADADADA!' So...sh*t, I opened up for Beyonce, twice."

DJ Khaled Finally Gets Verse From Drake For His Grateful Album

For the last couple of weeks, DJ Khaled has been calling up Drake to send in a verse for a song that's supposed to be on Khaled's upcoming album (Grateful). I guess Drake was busy, cos he didn't get back to Khaled fast enough, and Khaled took to social media to reach out to his constant collaborator. I guess that paid off.

During his latest interview with Zane Lowe on Beat 1 Radio, DJ Khaled spoke about the blessings of working with Drake.

Pic: Fat Joe, Remy Ma, and DJ Khaled Pose for a Photo

It is good to see the old Terror Squad back together again. Remy had her falling out with Fat Joe about 7 years ago and then went to jail afterwards. And DJ Khaled got too big for Terror Squad, but it is good to see they are back together again, and working on music. This is a picture of Fat Joe, Remy Ma, and DJ Khaled Fat Joe put on his Instagram yesterday.

How Fat Joe Conquered His Fear of Flying

For years, rapper, Fat Joe had a fear of flying. It is funny, right? But, until about 5 years ago, Fat Joe never used air transportation, because he always felt plains were too big to glide through the air, and he was always scared if he got on one, it would crash. 50 Cent even taunted him with that fact many times during their feuding years. But, something happened some years back that made him conquer that fear. His brother from another mother, Khaled, was in another country and he had gotten into trouble with the local gang over there because of fat Joe. Khaled was calling Fat Joe non-stop to come save him, and Joey Crack felt like a sucker for not being able to get on a plane and go save his brother, asap. So...Okay, hear the story from the horses mouth.

DJ Khaled and Nas Shoot Video for "Nas Album Done" Single

Dj Khaled has been doing his thing for ten years now; putting together dope Hip Hop albums, with the hottest (as well as veteran) rappers on it. The latest single off his Major Keys album is titled "Nas Album Done," and of cos it features Nas. Funny song title, right? Well, at least now I know Nas's album is done, and I just have to wait for it to be released.

The video to the song was shot in Bahamas yesterday, and would be released in a couple of weeks. This is the fourth time Nas would be guest appearing on one of DJ Khaled's albums. On Instagram yesterday, DJ Khaled spoke about how excited he was about the song/video, and also released pics from the shoot.

“I prayed for times like this I remember having Nas illmatic poster hung up in my garage with my two turntables and drum machine!! Look at me. I'm with Nas Major the number 1 album in the country.”

Fetty Wap's self titled debut album, Fetty Wap is still moving big numbers. This week, the Remy Boyz album sold 45,000 copies, to put it ahead of all other rap albums out there. The album is getting closer and closer to Gold status. At this rate, it would definitely be gold by Christmas.

DJ Khaled Says Girls Should Calm Down on the Instagram Filtering

I just laughed my ass off right now. lol! I am watching this DJ Khaled interview on Ebro in the Morning show, and he was talking about the end of the 'I'll Hold You Down' video where he was talking to a girl, and he speaks on the process they had to go through to get the girl. He said they invited girls over based on their pictures on Instagram, and he was shocked when he saw them in person and they were not as pretty as they had appeared on their Instagram pages.

Read his words below.

DJ Khaled Speaks on His Respect For Jay Z

DJ Khaled is about to drop a new album (I Changed A Lot), and he has been promoting it on radio stations for a while now. Yesterday, he was on Hot 97 radio's Ebro in The Morning show with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. He went on and on about the respect he deserves in the game which he feels he doesn't get. And then while speaking on how that frustration inspired his hit song, They Don't Love You No More, he branched out to speak on the level of respect he has for Jay Z, who was one of the artist on the said song.

Pic: Timbaland, DJ Khaled, Pistol Pete, Scot Storch...)

This pic was taken at Pistol Pete's (Fat Joe's associate) birthday party last weekend. In the first roll is Timbaland, DJ Khaled, Pistol Pete, and Scot Storch. And the second roll is Dre, Cool (Producers- Cool and Dre), and Fat Joe.  For those that don't know who Pistol Pete is, he is the founder of Kill All Ratsmovement, and also a Terror Squad member. He is the dude that had G Unit members shook back in the 50 Cent and Fat Joe beef days. Tony Yayo literally ran and locked himself in a store's restroom when he saw Pistol walk in the door.

Pic: Rick Ross Lifting Weights

Rick Ross really is serious about losing weight...check out this recent pic of him lifting weights, with DJ Khaled cheering him on. Hmm! Is Reebok paying Ross to lose weight? I can't think of any other thing that would make Ross this dedicated to losing weight.
