First Week Sales Prediction of "Shady XV" Album
As a 15 years celebration of his label, Shady Records, Eminem is dropping a Shady Records compilation album which will include classic songs from artists signed to the label, and those that were on the label in the past. The album is going to be a double disc album; one disc will contain old songs from Shady Records artists over the years, and the other disc will contain some new songs. I predict that the album would sell between 350-450k first week.
The album drops next week Monday, November 24th, the same day Rick Ross's Hood Billionaire album is also set to hit stores.

T.I Updates Fans on His Upcoming 9th Album (Paperwork: The Motion Picture)
Although the date hasn't been set yet, T.I is planning the release of his 9th album, 'Paperwork: The Motion Picture' before the end of the year. He already dropped two singles from the album: About the Money, and No Mediocre; which feature Young Thug, and Iggy Azalea respectively. Hmm! I can't believe T.I is about to drop his 9th album. He sure has been consistent and hardworking, cos I know he came on the scene around the same time 50 Cent did, and Fif sure don't have that many albums. Anyway, during T.I's recent interview with MTV News, he gave some info on what fans are to expect from the album...Saying the album would have a Soul feel to it, sort of like Jay Z's The Blueprint album.
See what he had to say about the album after the cut

First Week Sales Projections of Future's "Honest" Album
Furture dropped his second album two days ago, and after one day of sales, experts at Hits Daily Double have projected that Honest will sell between 45-50k first week.
YOUR NEW RELEASES: Disney's wintry wonder Frozen continues to dominate in spring; on the heels of its best week yet, the animated blockbuster's soundtrack will spend another week at #1, its twelfth. So what else is new? We'll tell you what. Here are this week's key debuts: Iggy Azalea (Grand Hustle/Def Jam) 50-55k Future (Epic) 45-50k Neon Trees (Island) 17-19k (HITS Daily Double)

These are projections; the album might sell a little more, or a little less. I predicted Iggy Azalea would sell between 40-50k first week...looking at the projections above, I guess I wasn't far from the truth.
First Week Sales Prediction Of Iggy Azalea's 'The New Classic' Album
Iggy Azalea's debut album finally dropped today, the 22nd of April 2014, and I want to predict what it would sell in its first week in stores. It is good to see some active female rappers in the game, Hip Hop is lacking in that department lately. I predict that Iggy Azalea's The New Classic will sell between 40-50k first week. The album is currently trending on twitter, which is truly surprising to me. I would have said it would sell around 30k first week, but this popularity on twitter would make it sell a little more on iTunes. We'll know the official numbers by next week Wednesday.
First Week Sales's Prediction of SZA's "Z" Album
Although she ain't a rapper, she is mighty connected to Hip Hop, so I decided to do this. TDE's first lady, SZA, is dropping her debut album, Z next week Tuesday, and i'm predicting it will sell between 30-45k first week. She is a new artist and doesn't even have her own wikipedia page yet, but she is good at what she does, and a lot of people that like her brand of music have been waiting for someone like her for a while. Okay, maybe there is Jhene Aiko, but SZA has her own style, and there sure is a large market for their type of music out there.
Fabolous Gives Update on "Loso's Way 2: Rise To Power"
Although I ain't really digging his new look with the punk hairstyle and all, Fabolous is still one of my favorite rappers. He is still promoting his Soul Tape 3 mixtape, but he is doing all that to buy time with his fans before he drops his sixth album, Loso's Way 2: Rise To Power. Fab has promised that the album would come before the end of the year, and that he is trying to make sure it drop by Summer.
“Record labels have its processes and stuff so you gotta work with that,” Fab said. “I’m looking towards like a summer release. It’s good, I put the mixtape out because I wanted to tighten a couple screws on the album and [I] put the mixtape out while I did that. I used that to build some energy, I think the energy have been building. I think people have been waiting but I feel like even I can’t give them something that I don’t feel is right so I always make sure that I’m completely one hundred percent comfortable with the product I’m putting out before I do. I think this summer will be that time.” (RealTalkNY)

No Malice Gives Update on Clipse Album
Clipse (Malice and Pusha T) were a hot duo on the rap scene in the early/mid 2000s, but around 2010/2011 Malice found Jesus and disappeared off the scene for a while. Now, people are asking for a new Clipse album, but Malice is now No Malice, and can't rap about drug dealing again. In this recent interview with MTV, he said he would like to do a Clipse with his younger brother, but he has to do him (Gospel rap), and he wouldn't want to Pusha T to compromise his raps for hims, so he doesn't know how they would go around that.
"I know it can happen. But if people are looking for the dope-dealing music that I used to give ...I would love to be able to be beside Pusha-T and rap together. That's my brother, that's my blood. But right now it just seems like we're just on two different paths. I respect where he's at, I support my brother. But that's not what I do. I don't comprise what I do, just like I don't expect him to compromise what he do." (MTV)
So what's gonna happen? This is a very tight situation right here...oil and water don't mix. This is similar to Mase's situation...he is trying to make a comeback, but he is hanging around people that still rap about guns, cars, and girls, so he doesn't know how to fuse his new style of rap with their's, without the church questioning his actions.

Mike Will Made It Says Working With Miley Cyrus Was a Big Accomplishment
Last year was one of Miley Cyrus biggest years o her career, and it is interesting to know that hip hop producer, Mike Will Made It had a hand in making it possible. He was the executive producer for her fourth album, Bangerz. In his recent interview with XXL, he said one of his biggest accomplishments of last year was working with Miley Cyrus.
"I would say executive producing my first project, working on Miley Cyrus' album. Even to see all of the songs that me and Miley worked on last year turning into a whole tour. That’s she’s killin' and that’s being sold out every night. Actually being able to go to the shows and seeing the crowd just stand up on they feet the whole time, singing all the songs and loving the songs like that." (XXL)

Pictures of Rick Ross Fans in Stores Buying Mastermind
Although it was meant to be released on March 4th, Rick Ross dropped his Mastermind album a day early, on Monday, March 3rd. Below are a couple of fans holding up flyers and gift packs they were giving after buying the album. I predict Mastermind would sell between 150-180k first week.
Raekwon Updates Fans on What He's Been Up To
Since his 2011 album (Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang), Raekwon has been a little off the scene. But in recent times, the rap vet has been doing a lot of collaboration, which shows he is working on something new. During a recent interview on B Real's Smoke Box internet series, Raekwon spoke on his upcoming album, and what fans are to expect from it.
“My next move is this next album I’ve been working on. It’s called Fly International Luxurious Art. It’s a long title but that’s how I felt right now. It’s a fly album though. You know me. That’s my thing. I like to make a body of work that I could put in people’s cars and they could just listen to it.”
He also spoke on the direction he went with the album.

“This album is well-rounded. I wanted to show people that I’m still at my best, but I’m into making now more stadium style music and catering to every audience. I want to give him a slice, him a slice, you eatin’. You over there in the corner that really don’t like me, I made something for you. Really just to give everybody that...stew pot that is me at my perfected level. You know, ‘cause I feel like I’m perfected...because of the fans, the way they salute me, the way they speak of some of my classic albums and shit. They make me feel like the hero. So this album is Fly International Luxurious Art. It’s nothing but me just really just showing niggas like, ‘Yo, his pen game is right. He’s being smart about the records he’s making. He’s catering to every audience of music.’ I have nothing to prove. I’m already in the books, so all I can do is keep giving people quality music. I went out and merged with some killer producers...I don’t know if you’re familiar with Jerry Wonda,” Rae said of Jerry Duplessis, “you know, he was a part of The Fugees project and working with Lauryn Hill and made a lot of bangers. I got a couple of the swordsmen and producers that I been fucking with and some new cats. I’m always looking for that fresh batch.”
Hmm! It seems Rae wants to leave that Wu signature, and try something fresh with this album...maybe leaning towards the pop-rap type of music. I hope it works for him. I'm thinking he plans to make songs with nice melodies, and sweets sounding hooks and all that. Let's wait and see how the album comes out...this might actually be an interesting turn of events for Raekwon. Jerry Wonder sure is a seasoned music producer, and he has a lot of hits under his catalog from back in the day, so this might actually work out for good. These are some songs that Jerry Wonder produced...Killing Me Softly (Lauryn Hill), No No No remix (Destiny's Child), Maria Maria (Carlos Santana), Hips Don't Lie (Shakira), You Know What It Is (TI).
Young Money: Rise Of A Empire Tracklist
Young Money, which is a Lil Wayne's record label under the Cash Money umbrella, also stands for the name of a rap clique...the clique consist of the artists signed to the label. Young Money includes, Lil Wayne himself, Nicki Minaj, Lil Twist, Drake, Mack Maine, Cory Gunz, Tyga, Jae Millz, and a host of other artists. They dropped their first album, We Are Young Money in 2009, and the album, as well as the lead singles (Every Girl & Bedrock) did pretty good commercially. They are about to drop a new album next month titled 'Young Money: Rise Of An Empire', and the tracklist just hit the Internet. The album is scheduled to be released on March 11, and would also serve as a springboard for the release of Lil Wayne's Tha Carter 5 album, which is set to drop before the end of the year.
Two singles off the album has already been released...We Alright (which features Euro, Birdman and Lil Wayne), and the controversial Nicki Minaj track, Lookin Ass Nigga. Also, the Drake track that was a left over song (Trophies) from his 'Nothing Was The Same' album recording appears to have made it to the album as well. Beyonce at 2.7 Million Copies Sold of 'Beyonce' Album Worldwide
Beyonce's self-titled fifth album, Beyonce sold 80,000 copies globally this week, to now put it at a worldwide total of 2,710,000 copies sold so far. The album was released without prior notice to the public in December, and her fans supported her wholeheartedly. In the United states alone, the album has sold 1,707,000 copies to date. This album far surpasses her last in commercial success. Her last album, 4, which was released in 2011 has sold just 1.4 million copies in the U.S, and 3 million copies worldwide...which is the lowest album sales in Beyonce's whole career. This is the 9th week of the Beyonce album being out, and it is still selling good numbers. I see it hitting 4 million copies worldwide in a few months

Kid Cudi's 'Satellite Flight' Album Tracklist
Kid Cudi recently departed Kanye's G.O.O.D Music label, and is fully operational on his own now. A few months after exiting the label, he let the fans know he was working on an EP...that EP has taken another dimension over the months, and is now officially Cudi's 4th album, Satellite Flight. He plans to release the digital format of the album first (before the end of February), and the physical release will come later.
Below is the tracklist of Satellite Flight's digital release...Cudi said the physical copy would have extra tracks on it.

Pusha T Speaks On Upcoming Album- King Push
After the success of his first solo album (My Name Is My Name) last year, one half of Clipse, Pusha T is currently working on his next. He and his blood brother, Malice, made up the hip hop group, The Clipse that gave us great rap albums through the 2000s. But Malice (now called No Malice) found Christ, and is on a new mission now, so that lives Pusha to give us some of those raw dope-boy raps they were known for. Pusha T is currently working on a new album titled King Push, and in a recent interview on Montreality, he spoke on the progress of the album.
'It’s in the beginning stages. I’ve been in with Pharrell and Chad. and I was in Miami for a little while, so any producer that was down there I would try to link up with in between time with The Neptunes, just to see what everybody got. But I think everybody’s gonna be really happy with this album. I’m really taking my time with it. I’m not forcing any of this music; it has to live up to the title ‘King Push.’

Tracklist of Yung 6ix '6 O'Clock' Album
Nigerian hip hop act, Yung 6ix just released the tracklist of his upcoming debut album, 6 O'Clock. I think the album title concept is nice as it is a play on his name, and I also think the album cover is really creative too. Personally, I do have a problem with the tracklist tho...for a first album, I think he has too many guest appearances. I hope his identity doesn't get lost in having too many big stars on his first ever album.
Check out the tracklist below-
