First Week Global Sales of T.I's "Paperwork" Album

After a full week in stores worldwide, T.I's 9th studio album, Paperwork sold 84,000 copies globally. The album sold 79,933 copies first week in the U.S. So, this means he it sold 4,073 copies extra in the International market.

T.I's 9th studio album, Paperwork sold 79,993 copies after a full week in stores. The album made its debut at the number 2. spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week. This is one of T.I's lowest selling first week numbers in years. It's only his debut album, I'm Serious (2001) that sold lower than this. Sales are generally poor in Hip Hop right now, and other gangster rappers ain't doing any better.

Grand Hustle boss, T.I is dropping his 9th album. Paperwork: The Motion Picture on October 21, and the album cover just got revealed to the world. Singles from the album so far are; About the Money feat. Young Thug, No Mediocre feat. Iggy Azalea, and the latest, New National Anthem feat. Skylar Grey. The latest single is definitely the best from the the three singles released.

T.I Speaks on What to Expect From 9th Album (Paperwork: The Motion Picture)

T.I still hasn't picked a date for the release of his 9th album, Paperwork: The Motion Picture, but he keeps giving us details on what to expect from it. Yesterday he dropped a new banging song titled, New National Anthem, which features Skylar Grey. I don't know if that is going to be on the album, but that is my favorite song from him this year. In his recent interview with Billboard, he gave some info on what to expect from him with this album.

T.I Updates Fans on His Upcoming 9th Album (Paperwork: The Motion Picture)

Although the date hasn't been set yet, T.I is planning the release of his 9th album, 'Paperwork: The Motion Picture' before the end of the year. He already dropped two singles from the album: About the Money, and No Mediocre; which feature Young Thug, and Iggy Azalea respectively. 












Hmm! I can't believe T.I is about to drop his 9th album. He sure has been consistent and hardworking, cos I know he came on the scene around the same time 50 Cent did, and Fif sure don't have that many albums. Anyway, during T.I's recent interview with MTV News, he gave some info on what fans are to expect from the album...Saying the album would have a Soul feel to it, sort of like Jay Z's The Blueprint album.

T.I Speaks on 'Paperwork: The Motion Picture' Album

Is T.I trying to make another Paper Trail album? I think that was one of, if not his best selling album to date. His new album, which he is working on with Pharrell is going to be called Paperwork: The Motion Picture, and would probably before the end of the year. He said he and Pharrell already made 25 songs for the album, out of which are three intermissions. He plans to shoot the three intermissions as short movies that would connect the songs on the album. I guess he is trying to make a cohesive album.







In his recent interview on Hot 97, T.I spoke about his Paperwork album.

"Paperwork is official. If you've got paperwork on something, it's official. Also, if someone has paperwork on you, then it could be some trouble. So, it's official, it's trouble, it's authentic. Sounds like me. The music supports this theory very well. This is the first time in my career that I have had enough time to create all the music, get the sequencing down, even before I start my clock and put myself on the calendar. Now that I have all of the music...I could take my time and step back and make sure it's the perfect blend, to create the perfect amount of synergy between trap music and art house." (Hot 97 radio Interview)








Well, what can I say? I wish him all the best, but I have my reservations about him working with Pharrell on all the songs off the album. Because Blurred Lines was a success doesn't mean a T.I album will be successful with Pharrell all over it. T.I's signature is trap music, with hard knocking beats; i don't think he can pull that off with Mr. Williams. I remember when Game tried to do the same thing in 2009/2010...it sure didn't work well, and Game had to go back to his roots. But, as T.I has said that the album is very creative, I would love to hear it; I just wish it doesn't turn out to be a bad career move for him.
