YG Says F*ck You to Rolling Stone Writer

YG is currently making rounds at radio stations for his new album's (4Real 4 Real) promo tour, and while at Power 105.1 FM radio a couple of days ago, he found out a certain Rolling Stone writer (Danny Schwartz) had written something negative about his album. He got pissed and said said f*ck you to the writer.

This was how it happened. One of the hosts of the radio show (The Breakfast Club) he was on, Charlamange had said, "I saw an article Rolling Stone wrote and they criticized the album. And they said it sounds like you badly want to get out of your label contract...they said it sound like a poor attempt at story telling and a reflection of how badly you want to get out of your label contract."

YG was confused with that and responded with, "Damn! Everyone I talked to said the album was fire. They said it's my best sh*t since My Krazy Life. Who said that from Rolling Stone? I'ma victory slap that n*gga when I see him. F*ck you n*gga. Who ever at Rolling Stone wrote that, f*ck you n*gga. F*ck you n*gga."

YG Says Hollywood Producer Made Him Understand Mental Health Better

It is common knowledge that the black community in America don't like talking to people about their mental health. It is even worse with gangster rappers who feel that showing emotions is weak. In his recent interview on The Breakfast Club show, California rapper, YG talked about how a certain Hollywood producer made him really understand mental health.

"He is like a big producer. He f*cking produced on all the Hangovers and all that sh*t. He umm...Like he really got me on that mental health sh*t cos he got like a whole little organization and they umm...he believe in like rehabilitation and sh*t like that so he help a lot of people out that's in jail. Like he help lifers get out of jail that had life sentences and sh*t like that. You know what I'm saying, so umm, his whole things is like mental health and talking to people and all that...he tell me some sh*t like a man's brain is not fully developed until you are like 26...So he like, a lot of things that men do, like when you young, it's like you ain't even fully developed so you don't really know what you're doing. It's like, okay, I feel that. I hear you for sure.

YG Says Nipsey Husstle Got a Lot of Fake Love After His Death

In his recent interview on Hot 97 radio with Ebro, superstar rapper, YG said Nipsey Hussle got a lot of fake love from celebrities after his death. He said most of them never showed Nipsey any love while he was alive. He definitely knows what he is saying, because he really was Nipsey's friend...they were both from California, and did a lot together.

"We was doing sh*t, we had all that of sh*t in the works. Like the homie passed, and I see a lot of m*therfuckers was like, 'oh Nipsey this, Nipsey this.' Like, you n*ggas wasn't doing this when the homey was alive. He didn't know y'all feel when he was alive. That's that fake ass sh*t."

YG Indirectly Says There Are Usually More White People At His Shows

YG is currently on a promo tour for his latest album (4Real 4 Real), and during his stop at Hot 97 radio yesterday, he got talking about his recent performance at Dusse Palooza. When he said they were a lot of black people at the event, one of the radio show hosts, Ebro asked him if he wasn't used to performing in front of black people, and he said...


"I mean like, not like that. Yea, cos like, I don't know like all the shows be like...you know, like when you do your tour and sh*t, you put your tickets up, on the Internet, the black people is not the first ones to go buy it. So, it's like, they gone wait till the last minute, on some black sh*t...that's just what we do."






I get his point. It could also be because there are actually more white people in America, and Hip Hop music is the number selling music genre in America right now. Even with rap albums, white people have always had the highest percentage of hip hop music consumers.

YG Says the Leaving Neverland Documentary Has a Racist Agenda Behind It

TMZ camera crew caught up with DJ Mustard and YG on the streets yesterday, and they got them talking about the R Kelly and Michael Jackson sexual molestation documentaries that were released back to back both in the first quarter of the year. While Mustard believed R Kelly was guilty and Michael Jackson was not, YG felt the documentaries were made by white people trying to destroy the legacy of these great black musicians.

DJ Mustard Calls R Kelly a B*tch

In their regular fashion of walking up to celebrities on the streets of America and interviewing them, TMZ camera crew caught up with producer, DJ Mustard and asked him what he felt about the whole R Kelly sexual molestation case going on, and he said...



"I don't f*ck with R Kelly, he is a buster...he is a b*tch." His long time friend and rapper, YG then comes up from behind to ask him what he feels about the Michael Jackson sexual molestation stories, and he said, "I don't believe that. I don't believe what they saying. I don't know...I ain't watch the sh*t yet, so I don't know...I didn't watch the Michael Jackson shit yet, but I did watch the R Kelly sh*t and I don't f*ck with him cos I got a daughter. And I would f*ck R Kelly up if that was my daughter."

YG Speaks on How He Got His First Gun

There is a new breed of West Coast rappers on the rise, and YG is one of them. He is doing his thing for the gangs and the hustlers in the street, and is enjoying worldwide recognition right now. In his latest interview with with Vibe Magazine, YG detailed how he got his first gun.

DJ Mustard Says He Needs to Be 'Producer Of The Year' For Every Award Show in 2014

In a recent interview on HARDKNOCK TV, LA beat-maker/music producer, DJ Mustard said he needs to be 'producer of the year' for every award show this year. Well, what can I say, he has produced a lot of hit songs the last couple of months. He made 2 Chainz 'I'm Different' track from last year, and T-Pain's Up Down, also from last year. As for this year, the list is endless...but I will name a few- Kid Ink's Show Me (which features Chris Brown), Ty Dolla $ign's Paranoid, and Rick Ross's Sanctified.

YG Lists Classic Hip Hop Albums He Listened to While Recording His Debut Album

CTE rapper, YG dropped his debut album, My Krayzie Life seven days ago, and in a recent interview on New York's Hot 97 radio, he listed the classic rap albums he listened to for inspiration while making his album.






“Yeah, I was listening to Doggystyle. I was listening to Chronic 2001. I was listening to Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. And Ready To Die. You feel me? I was listening to that the whole time I was doing my album…I knew when it was time for that album shit I knew how to get into my little [mode]. So, I put in them albums, them classic albums.”







His album does sound like Chronic and Doggystyle, that's for sure. It had the dope production, crazy skits, and the whole west coast gangster tales. It's cool to see West Coast get some shine again...they were off the scene for a while. But now you have Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Tyler, Fashawn, Jay Rock, YG, Nipsey Hustle, and a host of other rappers putting the west back on the Hip Hop map.

YG Says It's Easy To Make a Classic Album

During his recent interview on Hot 97 radio, California rapper, YG said "it's easy to make a classic album." He said it only takes one ingredient- time. Well, he might be right about it taking time to make a classic album, but it sure isn't easy to make a classic album.





“It’s easy to make a classic album. Yeah, it just take time. I feel like if you give a nigga stories and all that on your album and it’s really like—no matter if it blow. Like Jay Z first album’s a classic, but it didn’t sell a lot…If you giving stories and it’s realistic like people feel it. And like ‘He ain’t lying.’ That’s a classic.”







By the way, YG released his debut album, My Krayzie Life last week Tuesday; the album has been projected to sell between 45-55k first week. He signed to CTE/Def Jam Records.

YG Speaks on How Collaboration With Kendrick Lamar Came About

YG dropped his debut album (My Krayzie Life) on Tuesday, and MTV caught up with him for an interview that very day. One of the questions they asked him was how Really Be (Smokin N Drinkin), a collaborative song with Kendrick Lamar off the album came about.





“I recorded it up in Atlanta and I knew that it sounded like a record that Kendrick would get on,” YG said. “So when I got to L.A.,his engineer who did his album, Ali, he mixed my album too, they been hearing my album since like September, so they been hearing it. Kendrick told me that when it was time to put out my album he was gonna hop on one of my records, so he wanted to hear the whole album. So we played him the whole album, then he heard that song, he like, ‘I’m hopping on that, that’s the best song on there.’ That’s how it came, just like that. Real simple."

YG Speaks on How 'Who Do You Love' Collaboration With Drake Came About

A lot of people are surprised to hear YG and Drake on the same song, as YG is Gangster rapper and Drake is an emo rapper. I give it to Drake for always being able to collaborate with just about anybody in the rap game, and still hold his own. Earlier in the week YG and DJ Mustard appeared on The Breakfast Club Show, and YG took time out to explain how the 'Who Do You Love' collaboration with Drake came about.











"Drake...You feel me? He spent a lot of time in L.A...like back in the day, like 2010, like I ran across him as Rascos, and he just told me like, 'I'm a fan of your music' back in the day. So, I was like okay, for sure then. I ran into him again, me and Nipsey, we had a concert at club Nokia downtown L.A, Drake came through to watch our show. You feel me? So I hollered at him back-stage, so he was like 'We gotta work.' That was like 2012...then I ran into him again, and we exchanged numbers and he was like 'Hey, I'm trying to redo something'...and I sent this joint(Who Do You Love) , the beat, and he heard it, he went like 'Yeah, this is the one right here.' Feel me? he hopped on it. Feel me? He came to the video shoot. Feel me? They cleared the record all that." (The Breakfast Club Show)

First Week Sales Projection of YG's 'My Krayzie Life'

Based on one day sales, the experts have calculated what YG's debut album would sell in its first week out. According to Hits Daily double, YG's My Krayzie Life album is projected to sell between 45,000-55,000 copies first week. Not so bad. He is signed to Jeezy's CTE label, and also under Def Jam Records.
