First Week Sales Projection of YG's 'My Krayzie Life'

Based on one day sales, the experts have calculated what YG's debut album would sell in its first week out. According to Hits Daily double, YG's My Krayzie Life album is projected to sell between 45,000-55,000 copies first week. Not so bad. He is signed to Jeezy's CTE label, and also under Def Jam Records.

First Week Sales Projection Of Kid Cudi's "INDICUD" Album

Although not as much in the spotlight as he once was, Kid Cudi has been doing his thing. He dropped his third album, INDICUD on Tuesday (16th of April, 2013), and according to Hits Daily Double, it is expected to sell between 140-155k first week. Hits Daily Double do first week album sales projections based on first day sales of the album, and the eventual first week sales are not always too far from their own numbers.

My wonder is how Kid Cudi can do such numbers with virtually no buzz at all. That's about the numbers 2 Chainz did first week with his album, and we all know 2 Chainz is buzzing right now. With that said, I congratulate Cudi on this. And if you haven't gotten the album, make sure you go out and get it. Cudi always makes that feel good melodic music you can just relax to.

First Week Sales Projections Of A$AP Rocky's "LongLiveA$AP" Album

A$AP Rocky dropped his debut album 2 days ago, and according to hitsdailydouble.com, using its first day sales, "LongLiveA$AP" is projected to sell between 130-140 first week. I think this is great for an album that leaked since the first week in December. Virtually everyone I know has the album already, and for it to still sell that much, regardless of the leak, just means that he has a loyal following.

Official First Week Sales of Lacrae's "Gravity" Album

Christian rapper, Lacrae was projected to sell between 60-65k of his Gravity album, but he surpassed that by selling 72,000 copies in its first week in stores. I think that is huge commercial success for a Gospel rapper. This is his 6th album, and he definitely has built a fan base along the way, but I am positive that his appearance at last year's B.E.T Cypher hugely contributed to the success of this album. The album dropped last week Tuesday; Sept 4th.

Considering the fact that not everybody listens to faith based hip hop, you have to give it up to him for selling 72,000 copies first week...that is higher than a lot of rap releases that had 2 or 3 videos before their albums dropped.

First Week Sales Projections of Lacrae's "Gravity" Album

I think Lacrae has got Christian rap genre on lockdown. This is his 6th album, and is going to be his biggest selling album, according to the projections I am reading right now. According to hitsdailydouble.com, based on the first day sales of his Gravity album, Lacrae is projected to sell between 65-70k first week. The album (Gravity) dropped last week Tuesday: Sept 4th.



I think those are huge first week sales for a Christian Rapper...you have to note that not everyone listens to faith based rap, so for him to sell that much is really impressive. I know he has really been consistent, and has been building a fanbase for a while now, but I am pretty sure his performance in the last B.E.T Cypher gave him a lot of exposure. This is is going to be his highest debut...his highest first week sales before now was in 2010, with Rehab, which sold 25,000 copies in its first week.

First Week Sales Projections of B.O.B's Strange Clouds Album Decreases

This news just came in; B.O.B's Strange Clouds Album reduces in first week sales projections. I reported on Wednesday, according to hitsdailydouble.com that the album was projected to sell between 70-80k copies in its first week, But, the news out now is that it is projected to sell between 70-75k copies in its first week. That's a slight drop, but those are still cool numbers, as long as he can work the other singles on the album, so he can  be consistent with his sales over the weeks.

Nicki Minaj's second album dropped 2 days ago (Tueday), and hitsdailydouble.com has worked on the first day sales to get a projection of total week long sales. Nicki's Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album is projected to sell between 200-225k copies in its first week in stores.

Last week, I predicted it would sell between, 270-400k; so i am not too far from the truth. Her first album, Pink Friday dropped late 2010, and sold 375k first week. In an era where so much attention is placed on first week sales, are we to say that this album is not as good as the first? Personally, i think she tried to satisfy everyone on this album, tilting more to the white population, and i guess it didn't quite work. This is a schizophrenic album if you would ask me.
