Is Jeezy's "Seen It All:The Autobiography" Album Cover Illuminati Related?

Jeezy is dropping his fifth album, Seen It All; The Autobiography in a couple of days, and I want to ask you guys if you feel the album cover is Illuminati related. Well, for the record, I don't believe in all those Illuminati conspiracy theories, but for those that believe in it, do you feel Young Jeezy is affiliated with the Illuminati?

Check out what conspiracy theory website, Vigilant Citizen had to say about the cover.

Jeezy Speaks on Controversial Album Cover for 'Seen It All'

Jeezy's fifth album, Seen It All is scheduled for a September 2nd release date, and the album cover-art just hit the Internet. It has people shouting ILLUMINATI because of the all-seeing-eye (which is the supposed logo of the secret society that everyone seems to know so much about). Jeezy has come forward to set things straight.

During his recent interview Power 99 Philly radio station, he was asked about the Illuminati-themed album cover, and he said...

“I mean, I wanted to do a crest. I kind of was getting some of the feedback, the Illuminati. Let me say this first and foremost, do not get art and creativity confused with ignorance. I am a hard-working, God-fearing man. I have no idea what an Illuminati is and really don’t give a damn. It has nothing to do with me. I just wanted to do something different and something bigger. That was just my vision. It’s kind of a dark album, so I just wanted to have that kind of mystique about it. Something you wanted to keep as a collector’s edition. Even when Pac—not to compare—but when Pac did Makaveli and he put himself on that cross, that’s how he felt. He felt like it was him against the world, him against all odds. He put himself in that mind state. That’s just how I feel. I feel like I’m bigger than the music. I feel like I’m a leader. I can do that. I don’t wanna stand in front of a Lamborghini and give you another picture of me [with] five chains on. That’s wack for me. I’m nine years in the game, ten years in the game, I’m trying to push the envelope a little bit. But I’ll tell you this, the album cover is whatever, but when you open that album and play that album then we ain’t gon’ have this conversation. That music is A-1, you heard me? All that.”

Nice explanation, but Jeezy obviously wanted something to get people talking about his album, and it is working. Controversy always sells.

2 Chainz Speaks on Illuminati in Hip Hop

In the last 5 years or so, it has been, the Illuminati this, Illuminati that. Anyone that becomes an overnight success is immediately linked with the mythical secret society. Around 2012, when 2 Chainz blew up on the hip hop scene all of a sudden, a lot of people started saying he had joined the Illuminati. He had heard the question so many times over the years that when an Interviewer from ThisIs50.com asked him if he was a member of the secret society, he jokingly said yes. The interview went and edited the video to make it seem like Chainz was really serious, and then the rumors went out of control to the point that his Mom became worried about the whole issue.

2 Chainz said he has already had the video taken down, and the person responsible for editing it has apologized to him. During his interview on VLAD TV a couple of months ago, he spoke on the situation again, and said that the people that saw him having sleepless nights in the studio and making music for years before he finally made it laugh at rumors like that. He also said that the music directors put in all the secret society symbols in music videos just to get people talking, and get more Youtube views on their videos. Read his words below.

"In my opinion, I feel like Directors...people that do inventory that went to school in the last ten years, this are some things that they learn. Just symbols...different icons, different things to make...whether they be negative or positive, just to get us talking. So, if I shoot a video of VLAD, and I look behind you, I have these statues behind you, you don't know this two statues behind you...look, turn around. You don't know what's f#^king behind you. I'm the director, you don't know what's behind you. You're Tity Boi (2 Chainz), you Jay Z, you don't know what's behind you. You don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I'm shooting this shit right here, boom!. You leave, people go online and say VLAD is in the Illuminati, and guess what happen? The views go up. The views don't help vlad, the views help me, the f#^cking director. That's why I put this shit over here, that's why I put this shit over here." (VLADTV interview)

It's all to get people talking...and to get attention, and views and traffic and all that. The same reason I put up this post...I know it is going to get hundreds of views in a short while, and it will continue to get views for as long as people keep talking about the Illuminati.

2 Chainz Says Directors Are Responsible For Illuminati Symbols In Music Videos

I have said this for the longest time. I always wondered why people are quick to label a rapper an Illuminati member, but fail to see that the rapper might have little control on the creative direction of the video were all the symbols where on display...people never turned the touch on the music directors making the videos, or even the record label owners that have a lot of power over what this rappers do. Must rappers are just puppets.

“Anytime I even talked about Illuminati, I would try to make people think about when and where it really became poppin’ popular in things like that. In my opinion, I feel like directors or people that do imagery, who went to school the past last 10 years, these are some things that they learn. Which is symbols, different icons, different things—whether they be negative or positive, just to get us talking. So if I shoot a video, Vlad, and I look behind you, I have these statues behind you. You don’t know these two statues behind you…I’m the director. I’m shooting this shit. You don’t know that’s fuckin behind you…You don’t know what the fuck I’m doing. I’m shooting this shit right here. Boom, you leave. Boom, people go online and say, ‘Vlad is in Illuminati.’ And guess what happens? The views go up."

And once record execs learnt that formula, they have been milking it, making sure these musicians have all the Illuminati symbols in their videos, so that more people view them, and more people talk about them. Its a winning formula.

The Game

Okay, I have gotten your attention, it is time to tell you that all you have been reading is BULL CRAP!!! There is no secret organisation called The Illuminati making people successful for their souls. It is all bull shit story for people who can't understand why some people are so successful, and would be more comfortable with themselves with a story that links those successful people to something negative. The devil is not buying anyone's soul and putting millions in their account. Wake up!!!

Did you notice that all the people on the list are successful people? Do I believe there is a secret organisation out there? Yes there is, just like there are many other secret societies out there...or societies, without the spookie 'secret' added to it. The funny thing is people mistake The Illuminati with the Freemason secret society. Till this day, Freemasons operate in America. Freemasons actually built America...do a little research. In fact, they are not so secret. Do your research. The Illuminati is not Freemason. They are two different entities. The last time The Illuminati were known to really exist was back in the 17th century, and they were not devil worshippers. They just believed in Enlightenment and science at the time anybody that was into that was termed a heretic.

What about all the symbols in all those music videos? Most of the musicians that use those symbols in their videos want you to keep talking about them; publicity is publicity...good or bad. That is how things work in the music industry...or generally, in the entertainment industry. And another thing, all those signs, the Pyramid, the all seeing eye are symbols from Ancient Egypt...pre-dating most of the religions we have today. So, what are we talking about? I am not defending any secret societies, I just want to make it clear that most of those musicians didn't make their money by signing a contract with the devil. Work hard towards achieving your goal, and you would achieve it, no matter where you are from, or what society you belong to.

Protesters Outside Concert Venue Say Beyonce & Jay-Z are Demons and Members of The Illuminati

A couple of days ago, while Beyonce performed at The Verizon Center, two African American men stood at the entrance protesting, and holding up placards that read..."Jay-Z and Beyonce are possessed by demons- Enter at your own risk- Pray." I thought all this Illuminati talk had gone away. Anyway, below is what Rocky Twyman (one of the protesters) had to say about Jay-Z and Beyonce when interviewed by the Newspaper-

"We believe that this couple is virtually destroying our youth. If you go on the Internet, you’ll see stories about how they’re both part of the Illuminati and you can see Jay-Z’s use of the Satanic triangle symbol when he performs. Jay-Z even declared himself to be God by referring to himself as Jehovah, and we don’t think that this is the image that our young people need to be glorifying"
They further said they hoped to get the attention of the parents of the youths through their protest-

"We think they will be convicted that there is something wrong here, that there is some type of demonic forces that are a part of the Jay-Z-Beyonce syndrome."

My problem with this whole Illuminati talk is that its black people that are always so into conspiracy theories. Once a black man is successful, he is seen as a member of some sort of secret society, or worshiping the devil; why are black people conditioned to think that a certain level of wealth must have come from signing a contract with the devil? I went to see my pop the other day, and he was listening to BBC news on his small radio. And this news came on about a certain community in Kenya where rich people are being killed off cos they are termed devil worshipers. Once the people of that community don't understand the level of success of anyone in the community, they kill them off. That is some backward thinking right there...some limiting thinking right there.

If these people say they don't like how Beyonce fans Idolize her like she is a goddess, that is another thing, but all that demon possessed story is all crap. Watch all the Youtube videos you want, you only get what you are looking for in the first place. But, when you open your mind and do a little more research, you would laugh at all the Illuminati talk. Okay, they said Jay-Z is throwing up the Triangle (Pyramid) sign, and that that shows he is demonic. Okay, what about MC Lyte throwing up the sign on her 1996 album cover (Bad As I Wanna Be), long before Jay-Z started throwing that sign up. Is it because she isn't as successful as Jay-Z that the spotlight is not on her? Check out the pic below-

They can say they don't like what Jay-Z and Beyonce rap/sing about, which they feel have a bad influence their kids, but If they want to go that route, then they have to attack the whole Hip Hop/R&B culture right now. What sells right now is music with people glorifying wealth, sex talk and a life of alcohol and drug abuse. Most successful musicians in the r&b/hip hop genre of music do that, so they should be protesting against all of them, and not picking out two people and saying they are demon possessed, because they are the most successful. People forget what these so called Illuminati people went through (all the hard times) before they perfected their craft with persistence, and got to the level of success they attained. They make it seem like they just called up the devil like, 'hey, devil, what's up? I wanna sign up' and the devil is like, 'okay, here is the paper' and they sign, and they wake up the next morning with all the wealth. These is my problem with all the Illmuniati and secret society conspiracy theories. And because, sorry to say, the black race is still the most backward race, they buy into that the most. And the smart artists use this as a publicity/marketing tool; they keep on using all the Illuminati signs in their pics, interviews and videos to keep the people talking about them.

Kanye West Sending 'Devil-Worship' Signs To Those Interested (New Slave)

Personally, I don't believe in all the Iluminati/Devil Worship consperacy theory out there. But there are millions of people out there who believe that Kanye West and a bunch of other musicinas worship the devil in return for the success he has grenated them. Kanye is milking this gist once again to promote his up coming album. He just premiered the first single (New Slaves) off his upcoming album, which is going to be his 6th, and as marketing tool, he projected the visuals for the single on 66 different buildings in 6 different countries (USA, Canada, France, United Kingdom, Germany & Austria).

Do you get the controversy Kanye is trying to build up? He is showing the visuals for his new single on 66 buildings in 6 different countries...666. In Christian religion, that is believed to be the mark of the Devil...the mark of the beast. Thank me for cracking that for y'all, folks. I'm predicting that their would be a lot of conspiracy theorist making documentaries and writing articles on this in days to come. This is just cheap publicity for Kanye. Artists know this, and they have been milking this form of publicity for a while now. It has been working, and will always continue to work. And I wont mind the thousands of views this particular post will get me. I thank you all in advance.

Anyway, to those interested in the very politically inclined song that Kanye just released, below are the lyrics to "New Slave."

My Momma was raised in an era when,
Clean water was only served to the fairer skin.
Doin clothes you would have thought I had help
I wouldn’t be satisfied unless I picked the cotton myself.
You see its broke n-gga racing
That’s that don’t touch anything in the store
Like this rich n-gga racing
That’s that come here please buy more
What you want a Bentley, fur coat and diamond chain?
All you blacks want all the same things
Used to only be n-ggas now everybody play me
Spending everything on that Alexander Wang
New Slaves

[Hook x2]
You see it’s leaders and it’s followers
But I’d rather be a dick than a swallower

[Verse 2]
I throw these Maybach keys
I wear my heart on my sleeve
I know that we the new slaves
I see the blood on the leaves
I see the blood on the leaves
I see the blood on the leaves
I know that we the new slaves
I see the blood on the leaves
They throwing hate at me
Want me to stay at ease
F-ck you and your corporation
Y’all n-ggas can’t control me
I know that we the new slaves
I know that we the new slaves
I’m about to wild the f-ck out
I’m going Bobby Boucher
I know that p-ssy ain’t free
You n-ggas p-ssy, ain’t me
Y’all throwing contracts at me
You know that n-ggas can’t read
Throw on some Maybach keys
F-ck it, c’est la vie
I know that we the new slaves
Y’all n-ggas can’t f-ck with me
Y’all n-ggas can’t f-ck with Ye
Y’all n-ggas can’t f-ck with Ye
I’ll move my family out the country
So you can’t see where I stay
So go and grab the reporters
So I can smash their recorders
Say that Confucius was some bullsh-t like the New World Order
Meanwhile the DEA
Teamed up with the CCA
They tryna lock n-ggas up
They tryna make new slaves
See that’s that private owned prison
Get your piece today
Prolly all in the Hamptons
Braggin’ ’bout their maid
F-ck you and your Hampton house
I’ll f-ck your Hampton spouse
Came on her Hampton blouse
And in her Hampton mouth
Y’all ’bout to turn sh-t up
I’m ’bout to tear sh-t down
I’m ’bout to air sh-t out
Now what the f-ck they gon’ say now?

1939 Jay-Z Look-Alike Pic

People are aasking the question- Is Jay-Z immortal? Maybe Jay-Z is a vampire that has been around for decades, and hasn't aged since then. lol! There is a 1939 Jay-Z look-alike pic driving the internet world crazy right now; you can see the pic below, and you can't ignore the fact that the man in the pic looks exactly like Jay-Z. The facial expressiong, and the facial structure is Jay-Z to a 'T.'

I also put a recent pic of Jay-Z below so that you can compare the two pics. I'm sure people will start all the Illuminati rumors all over again. They would make up stories that Jay-Z signed a contract with the devil to remain Forever Young...blah!blah!blah!

D'Banj Addresses Illuminati Allegations

Almost every black entertainer that is successful has been tagged a member of a secret society, so it is not surprising that the most successful Nigerian musician of this generation would be called a member of the Illuminati. For the record, I don't believe any such secret society called Illuminati exist presently... I think people have been watching too many "pinky and the brain" episodes. If you understand the laws of the universe, and the rules for success, your views will change on this matter.

Anyway, below is what D'Banj said about the accusations in a recent interview-

"The reason why I am successful today is because of God. So if you can't understand my success or if it's too fast for you, please don't classify it as Illuminati. It is very annoying and God might strike you down, because he would not share his glory with any 'family'

lol! I really feel his pain. The people were not there when he was hustling, and chasing his dreams...they were not there when things were rough for him, and now that his hard work and perseverance is paying off, they want to discredit it all by saying a secret society gave him all his wealth. This is one of the reasons why the black race is still so far behind in development.

Nigerian Musicians Rumoured to be Members of Illuminati...It's Not What You Think

Illuminati is a secret society that no one can prove exist, and people recently alledged top musicians like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rick Ross, and A$ap Rocky of being members. People have postulated all sorts, from saying they control the world, to mixing their doctrines with that of Freemasons'. What is known a fact is that, around 4 centuries ago, there was a society of men (not so secret), characterised by men of science, who called them selves the Illuminated ones- these bunch were interested in enlightenment of mankind. But, around 3 centuries ago, or their about, they were hunted down one by one and killed, deemed heretics. This killings were done by a very powerful religious sect of the time which rebelled against any type of change.

I hope i have not lost you there? I just wanted to lay down the fundalmentals before i treat the matter at hand. Now, let's go on. There have been series of videos and articles put up on the internet which disect the different lives of artists like Jay-Z and Beyonce...and especially Kanye West; these documentaries show "supposed" hard evidence that they do belong to the Illuminati. If people did a little research, they would discover that all these supposed evil signs and symbols are only "signs and symbols" from ancient Egyptian religions/beliefs which have been around longer than most religions.

As soon as the deal between D Banj/Don Jazzy got sealed last year (2011) with Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music label., rumors started flying around that they had both joined the supposed secret cult, The Illuminati. And, after D Banj and Don Jazzy broke off their long time business relationship late last year, many people said it was because Don Jazzy didn't want to join the Illuminati. I find these allegations very funny and mediocre.

D Banj, P Square, Goldie, Whiz Kid and Charlie Boy are some of the Nigerian celebrities that have been rumored to be members of this mythical cult- "The Illuminati". What is funny to me is the fact that the one thing most of these individuals have in common is success. Right now, it is almost like any unexplanable success is attributed to the artists alledgedly joining the Illuminati. What the people porpoting this theories believe is that these artists are devil worshipers, and that "the devil" wants to take over the world through them. They say these artists have sold their souls to the devil for fame and fortue. Well, maybe i would believe in stuff like that if i didn't research on such individuals past, and see how much they suffered and strived, and persisted before they became successful. Maybe i would believe in such if the artist in question just sat on their asses (like most people that justify their unambitious lifestyles to not wanting to join a secret society) all day, and fame and money came their way.

Now, i am guessing people are saying- "what about the statement Kanye West made at a particular concert about selling his soul to the devil?" He was only being figurative; he obviously didn't mean that literaly. What he was implying was that he made the kind of music that the people wanted to hear...he made pop (popular type music) and not the regular type of root hip hop music. A lot of people use that phrase a lot, but they sure don't mean they had a meeting with "the devil". So, back to the Nigerian angle of things. D Banj is the most crucified in this matter, because he recently signed to Kanye's label. And there is a picture of him flying around, which has him wearing a "tri dog tag"...a chain with a pyramid like pendant. Just for the information of people, that chain wasn't made specifically for D Banj; it is one of the chains that Nigerian Jeweller, Chris Aires makes, and sells between $3,500- $10,000. So, does it mean anyone that buys that type of chain from Aires is a member of the Illuminati? Or those it mean Chris Aires is "the devil" personal contractor? If a group of people like to associate themselves, or get fascinated by old Egyptian gods and their symbols, that has nothing to do with evil or the devil. It is just funny that these same people that are termed evil are the biggest givers to charity.

And there is the recent connection of P Square's mom's death to that of an illuminati blood sacrifice. Well, Nigerians have always been known to feed off fairy tales like this, so it didn't surprise me when people started buying into such analogies. I remember listenning to BBC news one night with my dad, and they were focusing on a part of Kenya (East Africa), where locals ganged up to kill anyone that appeared to them to be too successful. It's because of a mentality like this, which is common in most parts of Africa that people would believe anything that is put together to support why they are not successful...and why there is some form off evil deeds behind every success stories. It shocked me when I had a conversation with a couple of my co-students at Masters level last year, and i discovered they also had such mentality.

A couple of years ago, i decided to read the whole Bible, from front to back. I read it, not because my Pastor instructed me too, but because i really wanted to have a deeper & personal understanding of my religion. Somewhere in the first four books, i came accross a verse that goes something like this- "and i would bless the heathen (non believers) with the blessing promised to you, as long as they follow the rules i laid down that you have decided not to follow." Of cos, it wasn't written like that, but i want you to get the message of what God was trying to say. I made the mistake of not writing the verse down, and i have asked a lot of Bible scholars about it recently, but no one seem to know where it is. I guess i would have to take time out to read the whole Bible again. But, what i am trying to say is that, this explains why some non believers are successful. People believe all these "Illuminati" stories because they think anyone that is successful without religion has to be a devil worshiper, but this verse overules that. I really wish i had the Bible verse, but i am sure someone out there knows where it is said in the bible.

A$ap Rocky Speaks on Alledged Illuminati Affiliation

Things are getting out of hands these days with this Illuminati talk- every and anybody is now considered a member of the Illuminati. The latest to be called a member of the "mythical" secret society is rapper, Asap Rocky. Below is what he had to say about the allegations.

"When i watched the it (video about Illuminati rumors), it looked so convincing, i was like, 'oh, yo! I worship the devil, yo! It's crazy what i'ma do.' Nah, when i seen that joint, i was laughing." he said. "When they acuse you of illuminati, that means you made it."

His last sentence right there sums up everything. I try my best not to speak on this, because i really believe it is house-wives that should believe stories about one musician or the other joining the Illuminati and worhiping the devil, lol! But, the talk is getting out of hand, and starting to piss me off. There is no FUCKING Illuminati anywhere controling the world. There are laws in the world, that if you follow, regardless of your religeon, you will become successful...PERIOD!!!

And, just like Asap Rocky said above the videos look convincing. Yea, they look convincing, because you can twist anything to make people believe what they desperately want to believe. And i know there is someone saying- "this dude doesn't know what he is saying, i saw all those symbols in those videos". First of all, those symbols are from ancient religions, of which some of the religions of today borrowed to form theirs. If the artists want to be mystical, and be fascinated about ancient religeons enough to want to put up the signs, how does that affect you. And secondly, the rappers/musicans are not the ones shooting the videos in the first place...there is the director of the video, the record label and so on who are really behind the budget and the way the video goes sometimes.

I think people need to just drop all the illumati talk already. But, the fact is that people always like to have someone or an entity to blame for their failures. And this is the reason why i take time to write on this every now and then. Because, now, when someone doesn't do all he can do in his pursuit in life, and doesn't get where he wants to get to, he would blame it on the Illuminati stopping him...or say its only if you join the Illuminati that you can become successfull. BULLSHIT!!!

Interpreting Jay-Z and Kanye West's No Church in The Wild: No Illuminati Conotations

We are in a time now where anybody with wealth is considered linked to a secret society; and the most mentioned secret society is the Illuminati. But, the thing is that people always have the tendency to criticize and ridicule what they don't understand. Jay-Z and Kanye West being termed illuminati is just a case of the misunderstanding and miss-education of the masses. A controversial song title like "No Church In The Wild" is just kanye and jay-z trying to ride on the wave of the bad publicity they get for being allegedly affiliated with The Illuminati.

No Church in the Wild is the first song on the collaborative album (Watch The Throne) by Jay-Z and Kanye West. The two artist, although not too directly, expressed their anti-religious views. It is clear that they are atheist, but the talk about them being Illuminati is just ridiculous. Over-religeous people that no-longer think logically think anyone not belonging to their religeon must be getting their powers from a dark source. But the real truth is that we all pray to one God, and everything we get, by following the universal laws is given to us by an unbiased God...whether you belong to any religeon or not.

Back to the song. Jay-Z made more anti-religious remarks than West did. Lines like "Jesus was a carpenter" which came at the end of jay-z's verse, is jay trying to tell people that Jesus was the son of God no more than you and i are. But a very enlightened one if you ask me. And the lines- "lies on the lips of a priest" is another direct shot at christianity. Basically, what he is talking about is all the cover-ups that have been going on in the Catholic church for the longest time.

The other lines from jay are very complex and not as direct- "Is Pious pious cause God loves pious?" And the lines from Kanye West are more direct- "we formed a new religion/no sins as long as there's permission". This is clearly an atheist belief. And the people do not understand how some other people can sin so much and still be so successful. But really, it is only sin cause you have been taught from birth to believe it is so. So, you punish yourself with guilt feelings, and that is what brings the anguish. But, kanye being an enlightened fellow, and an individual with the understanding of the "the truth", is staing his own belief.

There is nothing Illuminati about this song, or any other thing jay-z and kanye west are associated with. The fact is that anyone that understands the Universal laws and follows them would get results regardless of whether he is religious or not. Jay and and Kanye are just very successfull atheist...like 80% of all men that have made a mark down history...Bruce Lee, Micheal Jackson, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Will Smith, Albert Eistein, Ralp Waldo Emerson, Thomas Edison...the list is endless.

Illuminati in Hip Hop: It is Not What You Think

There has been a lot of talk on Illuminati in Hip Hop which has become a very controversial topic in the last 3 years or so. I have written this article to give my own opinion on the matter, and sort of lay down my findings so that you can have a new view on the matter. Before I go on, I would like to let you know that this is going to be far from what you have been reading about, or what your heart strongly longs for. What I am trying to say is that, my write up is not going to be one-sided; I really just want to lay everything down on the table, and let you make your decision. And at this point, I would like to introduce myself; my name is Kayode Olumide Odusanya, and I live in a very remote part of Lagos state in Nigeria. Walk with me.

First, I would like to educate you on the history of the Illuminati. The Illuminati, formed sometime in the early last millennium was made up of a bunch of scientist, writers, painters that were involved in enlightening the masses; educating the world on the powers of man's mind, and the truth about the world (both physical and spiritual). And sometime around the 15th and 16th century, the church started hunting them down and killing them one by one. Christianity was the dominant religion at the time, and anybody believing anything contrary to that, or educating the people on the powers of the mind, was termed a heretic and burnt at the stake. Heretic by the way is gotten from a Greek word which means “different”. I would like to state here that you have google as your tool to check the authenticity of any of my claims.

Galileo, a scientist, and an enlightened fellow, had to be transported to France to publish his theory on the Sphericity of the earth. At that time, the world was controlled by the Roman Empire (which also was the home of the church) and they believed the earth was flat. As I said earlier, the church at that time did not entertain any individual going contrary to its beliefs and teachings. I do not want to dwell too much on this issue; it is very controversial and a hard pill for a lot to swallow. I just wanted to get a message across, and I have achieved that.

The Illuminati, at least before the lot of them were wiped out, were a bunch of everyday scientist and artist that believed in enlightenment; they were not a bunch of devil worshipers. If you want to use the term “free thinkers”, that would go just right. But if you want to believe all the videos you have been watching on youtube, then you can say Tai Solanrin (A Nigerian Visionary) was a devil worshiper, you can say Zack Efron is a devil worshiper, you can say Julian Moore is a devil worshiper, or Fela, or Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, Warren Buffet, Henry Ford, Mark Zuckerberg, Steven Spielberg, Bill Gates, Charlie Chaplin, Woody Allen, Bruce Lee, George Clooney, Bruce Willis...the list is endless. All the people I have mentioned are free thinkers; they do not belong to any religion, but it does not mean they worship the devil. Do you know one more thing? All the people I mentioned are the ones that have made the world a better place; whether through entertainment, fighting for the rights of the people, development, medical breakthrough, inventions…and the list goes on.

I want you to stop and think for a second; forget everything you have always known and have been told, and just think independently. What does the fact I have just brought to your knowing mean to you? What can you make of it? These are facts and not fallacy. You can check up on any name I have mentioned for what I claim about them. So, as I ask, what is really happening in this world? Nothing; they are not devil worshipers, they have just been able to think beyond religion and find God. And when you have a personal relationship with God within you, you would know no bounds. Personally, I am a Christian, but I do not hold any pastor as God; I relate with the father within on a consistent basis. They know one thing; God is in all of us, regardless of your religion.

Not to get lost in all the religion talk, I would like to come back to the basis of this article, which is trying to clarify issues of whether or not there are Illuminati activities present in Hip Hop. People believe all the successful artists in hip hop are devil worshipers- Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake and Rick Ross are some that are regularly mentioned. I told a couple of people about Don Jazzy and D banj (Nigerian artists) getting signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music label and all these people could make out of it was that they had joined the Illuminati. What an absurd suggestion; their hard work and believe in their abilities got them there, and nothing else.  The Universal Laws worked for Kanye, Drake, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and whoever might be mentioned as an Illuminati member.  But, as Nas said on his Hate Me Now song- “people fear what they don't understand”.

Back in 2009, when this whole issue about Illuminati in music started popping up, my friend and I decided to write a book on it. We found out that people like controversy, and would believe anything. The majority of people are attracted to anything that has mystery written all over it; they like to believe there is this evil force somewhere. So, after we agreed on it, I went to work and started researching. Of course, at that point I was on the fence, not really believing in the stories, or that they were lies. My friend on the other hand believed they were stories based on people's ignorance. So, my open-mindedness led me to a series of researches that have spanned 2 years. I must say it has been a very interesting 2 years, and when I look back, I laugh at the things I would easily believe back then.

I have to say that the videos on youtube are pretty convincing, but as my friend always says- “You will always find what you are looking for, and you can make people believe whatever you want them to believe as long as their focus is on that thing.” During my study, I researched the illuminati; I researched principles of success; characteristics of the greatest men in world history; religion and the power of the mind. Because this article is on illuminati in hip hop, I would focus on just that. I would like to give you a little detail on the most targeted individual when it comes to all these illuminati talk- Jay-z. An old rapper from the late 80s called Jaz-O, who mentored Jay-Z in the early stages of his career (his late teens), had some not so nice things to say about jay-z in a recent interview. They had a falling out sometime in the early 00s, so it was not a surprise. But when this man, Jaz-O, was asked if he thought Jay-Z was a member of the Illuminati, he just laughed and said he didn't think so. He said he believed jay was just a puppet fro the real perpetrators.
Not to use too much time on jay, I would like, if you had time, go and watch the biography of jay-z on youtube. There you would see how he had one purpose, to be the greatest rapper, and he followed that one dream through all the hard times. From 1987, when he was just 18, to 1996, when the world finally got to know him; he stuck with just one goal. If you know about the power of definiteness of purpose, you wouldn't believe all these stories you hear around. This is just to erase the belief in a lot people's mind's which associate any big success with darkness.

To end, do I believe there is an illuminati movement in hip hop? No, I don't; but I do believe there are people in the upper echelon of the music industry (not just hip hop) who have a mission of keeping the majority of people dumb. And this people are not just in the music industry, they are everywhere. Well, you can call them whatever name you want…I don't know what name to give them, but their idea and believe is that as long as they can keep people from thinking for themselves, they would forever keep them ignorant of their own individual powers. The Supreme Being would communicate faster and easier with a “still” mind than one that never has time to think. No time to think because of all the games, ipods, dvd’s, BlackBerry’s and other toys he has that are taken his time. And also, the ton of work he has to do, that doesn't even allow him an hour each day to reflect on where he wants to be, and how to get there. And the last ingredient- “as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”. You think about what you see, hear and talk about- and who controls that? Through the kind of music that gets played on radio, the kind of movies that get out there, and the million upon million violent games you get to play.

To end this, I would say, the majority of the people are looking in the wrong places. From my earlier definition of Illuminati, you would know, if they still exist, they can't be the ones responsible for all these allegations because they believe in the exact opposite of all these accusations. We have been fighting the wrong enemy, and the real enemy has been helping to propagate all these Illuminati nonsense so that you would never discover their real mission. They have succeeded in making you associate wealth with darkness in your mind. Open your eyes, and your mind, and stop following the follower.
