Back to the song. Jay-Z made more anti-religious remarks than West did. Lines like "Jesus was a carpenter" which came at the end of jay-z's verse, is jay trying to tell people that Jesus was the son of God no more than you and i are. But a very enlightened one if you ask me. And the lines- "lies on the lips of a priest" is another direct shot at christianity. Basically, what he is talking about is all the cover-ups that have been going on in the Catholic church for the longest time.
The other lines from jay are very complex and not as direct- "Is Pious pious cause God loves pious?" And the lines from Kanye West are more direct- "we formed a new religion/no sins as long as there's permission". This is clearly an atheist belief. And the people do not understand how some other people can sin so much and still be so successful. But really, it is only sin cause you have been taught from birth to believe it is so. So, you punish yourself with guilt feelings, and that is what brings the anguish. But, kanye being an enlightened fellow, and an individual with the understanding of the "the truth", is staing his own belief.
There is nothing Illuminati about this song, or any other thing jay-z and kanye west are associated with. The fact is that anyone that understands the Universal laws and follows them would get results regardless of whether he is religious or not. Jay and and Kanye are just very successfull atheist...like 80% of all men that have made a mark down history...Bruce Lee, Micheal Jackson, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Will Smith, Albert Eistein, Ralp Waldo Emerson, Thomas Edison...the list is endless.
Interesting points. Try spell check, though.
ReplyDeleteYeah...i guess i rushed through this particular post. Thanks for pointing that out for me. I just did the edit.
ReplyDeleteThere's no illuminati. The men u all mentioned were Freemasons though.
