Veteran DJ, Dj Clue just shared this picture with my favorite female on air personality, Angela Yee at a social event. The picture came with this caption on Instagram- "Last Night wit the #TurnUpTeam 's newest member @AngelaYee at#Breakfastclub5thyranniversary"



I guess they were celebrating The Breakfast Club show's 5th anniversary. That's lovely. I didn't know the radio show had been on for that long. I discovered the show in 2013, and I have been hooked ever since.

Jadakiss Says You Can't Get Caught Up in the Past with Hip Hop

In his recent interview on Power 105.1 radio (with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne), one third of The Lox, Jadakiss spoke on not getting caught up on the past if you want to move forward and be relevant in the present. I think this is a good idea, cos most of the 'stuck in the 90s' rappers have kinda totally vanished off the Hip Hop scene. Ofcos you don't have to follow what is hot now. You can keep doing your thing, add a little spice to it (with up to date production), and still be felt by this generation of rap music listeners- like what Jay Z, Eminem, Nas, and Snoop Dogg have been able to do. Those four have been able to stay relevant through three decades of rap history; the 90s, the 2000s, and the present decade, without losing the basic elements that make them who they are.


So, during the course of the Breakfast Club show interview on Power 105.1 radio, Charlamagne asked Jada..."How hard is it for you at this point to be like 'back in my era...'" And Jadakiss responded with...

Veteran comedian, Sinbad was on the Breakfast Club Show recently and he was asked by Angela Yee what he felt about social media and the online community and he said...



"I don't care about social media and what you think about me. That's the most coward...that's like a gangster behind a keyboard. How are you going to sit there and dog me at your keyboard, well come to my show and tell me that...How are you gonna talk...I don't even know your name...JimmyJimmy067? You got a stupid avatar of a tiger? I ain't worried about you. Matter of fact, I don't know your name, you know mine. You follow me, I ain't follow you. And you tell me you don't like my comedy?
