B.O.B's Strange Clouds album has been out a full week now, and in its 4th week in stores, it sold 13,000 copies. The album is now at a total of 130,000 copies sold in 4 weeks. This are domestic numbers...amount sold in the U.S alone.

B.O.B's second album dropped last week, and has now done a full week in stores. According to hitsdailydouble.com, Strange Clouds has sold a total of 74,105 copies in its first week of release.
The album has singles such as "strange clouds", which has already sold platinum (a million copies) as a stand alone track...and "So Good" is also nearing platinum status. From the look of things, it might take a while for him to reach that same status with the sales of the entire album. Those this mean that consumers now concern themselves more with tracks than the full package of what an artist is ready to offer?

I reported on Wednesday, according to hitsdailydouble.com that the album was projected to sell between 70-80k copies in its first week, But, the news out now is that it is projected to sell between 70-75k copies in its first week. That's a slight drop, but those are still cool numbers, as long as he can work the other singles on the album, so he can be consistent with his sales over the weeks.Read news on it below-

B.O.B released his second album yesterday, May 1st, and hitsdailydouble.com has come up with projections...based on first day sales, B.O.B's Strange Clouds album is projected to sell between 70-80k first week.His debut album, Adventures of Bobby Ray sold 84k in its first week. With that one, he had two hits on the chart- Nothin on You featuring Bruno Mars, and Airplanes featuring Hayley Williams. The first single off this album, Strange Clouds, featuring Lil Wayne wasn't that much of a radio hit. i think the second single, So Good was more of a radio hit.

B.O.B's second album, Strange Clouds drops in a couple of days, next week Tuesday (May 1st) to be precise, and i will attempt to predict what it would sell in its first week out. His first album (The Adventures of Bobby Ray) dropped in 2010, and it did 84,000 copies in its first week. He had a radio hit then with Airplanes, but he was still quite unknown. He has gained more fans over the years, and has kept to what he does best. I can't put a name on his type of hip hop, but he is sure in a lane of his own.
The second single off the album, "So Good" is at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 tracks chart. I would say Strange Clouds would sell between 150- 270k copies in its first week.
