Official First Week Sales of T.I's "Paperwork"

T.I's 9th studio album, Paperwork sold 79,993 copies after a full week in stores. The album made its debut at the number 2. spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week. This is one of T.I's lowest selling first week numbers in years. It's only his debut album, I'm Serious (2001) that sold lower than this. Sales are generally poor in Hip Hop right now, and other gangster rappers ain't doing any better.

Official First Week Sales Of Rick Ross' Mastermind Album

Yea, these niggas can't hold him back. Rick Ross bags another Number One album with Mastermind (Making it his 5th Number One album, out of 6 albums he has released so far). After a full week in stores, the album sold 179,000 copies. His haters said he wouldn't sell more than 80k first week; experts projected it would sell between 140-150 first week; I predicted it would sell between 140-180...I guess I was super accurate this time around. The album is actually really good...I rated it four out of five. Haters can hate all they want, and say he ain't never gone platinum, but Ross has been consistent with his sales for over 8 years; you gotta respect that. He didn't even have a big single for this album, and beat out Pharrell who had the number one song in the country.
