RZA Speaks on Jay Z and Solange Elevator Altercation

It's funny that people are just now speaking on this issue. In case you don know about it...No, it is impossible not to know about it. But, just in case you don't know about it, a couple of weeks ago, a video hit the Internet, and in it, Solange attacked Jay Z in an elevator, that also had Beyonce, and her bodyguard in it. If not for that Bodyguard restraining her, and Jay's calmness, things would have gotten uglier than they did. Anyway, Wu leader, RZA spoke on this during his recent interview on Vlad TV.

"It's always somebody in the family that just make your day go different, man. It's probably one of those days for him. But blessings to their family. To me they're one of the most beautiful families we have in America. Especially in Hip Hop. It's a very unique family, him and BeyoncĂ©. And they really represent so much black love for us. But look, we got crazy cousins, crazy sisters, crazy aunts and uncles in our families, man. That happens. And I ain't saying Solange cause I know her personally. She's a real good artist herself, but that's family. So, they'll figure that out."

Ghostface Killah Updates His Fans on What's Up

One of the most popular rappers from Wu Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah always has something popping. Whether it is a Wu album, or a solo joint, or a Wu and D Block collaboration, you know Ghost is always working. He has been able, over the years, to stay in the industry without compromising his style of music. In a recent video off Video Music Box, he updated his fans on what he has been working on.

“[I’m] helping Rae finish up his album. Then I got the Supreme Clientele #2. I’m just working. I’m just working. Me and Sheek Louch [are doing] another Wu Block album. It’s just a lot of things happening.”(Video Music Box)

You know Rae and Ghost always bring that heat when they work together, so you already know how that's gonna turn out. I heard snippets from the Wu Block 2 album, and it is sounding like it is going to be better than the first one. And lastly, I can't wait for Supreme Clientele 2; Ghostface tells the craziest stories on his albums.

Wu Block 2 Tracklist

After touring together the most part of 2010/2011, Ghostface Killa and Sheek Louch decided to make an album together that would feature members from their individual groups. So, Sheek brought his LOX brothers, and Ghostface brought the Wu, and a Wu Block album dropped in 2012. Now, without warning, they are about to drop the sequel. Wu Block 2 is set to drop on May 20th. Check out the tracklist below.

Raekwon Speaks on New Wu-Tang Album...A Better Tomorrow

The legendary Hip Hop group, Wu-Tang Clan have been on the scene for more than 21 years now, and are about to drop their sixth studio album- A Better Tomorrow. Ghostface Killa, Raekwon, and Methodman have been the most popular members in the group, having dropped multiple solo albums of their own over the years. The nine-man group have been finding it hard to get in the studio to put together their upcoming album, A Better Tomorrow, which was meant to have dropped last year, in celebration of their twentieth anniversary as a group (their first album, 36 Chambers dropped in 1993). But it seems the group members are finding it hard to come together and agree on stuff. Read what Reakwon had to say about this in his recent interview on Grantland.

“I would be the first one to say that we cannot leave everything in RZA’s hand no more,” Rae says. “He has done his job to the greatest of his ability when we were younger, but now every man plays an imperative role in this situation. His plan was to do a more humble album. We was like, Nah. You can’t do that with the hardest group in the game.” (grantland.com)

Rae also spoke on the group not being able to have a unanimous decision on the album's lead single, and that going with Family Reunion didn't turn out well.
“We knew that wasn’t no single.” The anniversary album’s tentative title, A Better Tomorrow, wasn’t approved by the group before it was announced, which created dissension early in the process, something the fractious Clan could scarcely afford. “It’s like getting the United Nations to all agree on one fucking thing,” Rae sputters. “Italy ain’t having it. Japan is on some shit. You know what I mean? Now, here it is, the 20-year anniversary that’s so decoratedly respected that we might not even be on time for this shit.” (grantland.com)

Lets see how things turn out. But the fact is that they are not in their twenties no more. All of the members are in their forties, and GZA, the oldest member will be fifty in two years, so it is definitely gonna be hard for all the members to go in the same direction on stuff. Hell, I have friends that I used to kick it with it on a daily in the 90s that are now like strangers to me, so I understand what's going on with the Wu.
