Ghostface Threatens to Kill Action Bronson

Several days ago, Action Bronson was on an ESPN show. and one of the show anchors made the all too familiar comparison between Bronson and legendary Wu Tang Clan rapper, Ghostface Killa, and Bronson felt some type of way. I guess he was tired of hearing that comment all the time, and then he said "He's not rapping like this no more." The interviewer asked him if that was a shot at 'the ghost' and he said..."Nope. I'm just being honest."


Ghost definitely wasn't having it, so he recorded a video and put it online. In the video, he threatened to have Action Bronson kill. Read part of the transcribed version of the video.

Ghostface Killah Updates His Fans on What's Up

One of the most popular rappers from Wu Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah always has something popping. Whether it is a Wu album, or a solo joint, or a Wu and D Block collaboration, you know Ghost is always working. He has been able, over the years, to stay in the industry without compromising his style of music. In a recent video off Video Music Box, he updated his fans on what he has been working on.






“[I’m] helping Rae finish up his album. Then I got the Supreme Clientele #2. I’m just working. I’m just working. Me and Sheek Louch [are doing] another Wu Block album. It’s just a lot of things happening.”(Video Music Box)











You know Rae and Ghost always bring that heat when they work together, so you already know how that's gonna turn out. I heard snippets from the Wu Block 2 album, and it is sounding like it is going to be better than the first one. And lastly, I can't wait for Supreme Clientele 2; Ghostface tells the craziest stories on his albums. 

Ghostface Killah Says Illmatic Made Him Work On His Rap Skills

Wu-Tang Clan elite lyricist, Ghostface Killah spoke on how he had to step his pen game up after he heard Nas's Illmatic (1994) album. Illmatic was released a year after Wu-Tang Clan's debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Read his words below-





“When I used to listen to Nas back in the days, it was like, ‘Oh shit! He murdered that.’ That forced me to get my pen game up and like, ‘How can I try to catch it how this nigga’s catchin’ it?’ It’s just things like that. You know? The whole fuckin’ Illmatic album! The whole Illmatic album forced you to go ahead and do shit. You know, you jump on [1995’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...] after, and you fuck around like, ‘Oh shit!’ You just try to throw your darts around. It was inspiration. He dropped that second album [1996’s It Was Written]. That shit was murder too…things of that nature.” 

Retro News: Ghostface Killah Broke Mase's Jaw

Back in the mid/late 90s when Bad Boys was untop, and Mase was the shit, Ghostface Killah broke his jaw at a New York club, after mase had made some derogative comments about wutang clan. Hmm! That is some gangsta shit. I don't support violence, and i laugh at rappers in their late 30s still talking about how hood and gangsta they are, but, if you say you are gangstar, then you gotta prove it. I guess mase deserved it. He was like a love-boy/braggadocios rapper, so i wonder why he thought he could go the gangsta way and bad mouth wutang.

This is really funny, cos Loon (another past bad boy records signee) has said it several times that he was always getting mase out of trouble. Mase would sleep with someone's girlfriend, and when the guy finds out, and wants to issue the beating on mase, loon would have to step in the way; sort of like his body guard. But i have to wonder, what was mase doing with all that money he was making? Couldn't he have hired bodyguards, or at least moved all the way out of the hood? I guess that was what made him quit rap, and become a minister. And the reason he couldn't stay a minister was because the decision wasn't from deep down his heart; the decision was like his way out of all the trouble, and confusion he had gotten himself into.

After badmouthing Wu-Tang at a concert, Bad Boy recording artist Mase had a run-in with Ghostface and his entourage at New York City club. There was a physical altercation between the two camps, and Mase was left with a broken jaw. This incident became a point of reference for various rappers, including Kanye West on "Through The Wire", "If you could feel how my face felt you would know how Mase felt", and fellow Wu-Tang Killa Bee Shyheim, who witnessed the incident and referred to it in freestyle as the time "Ghostface retired Mase". Ghostface touched on it himself on the track Malcolm "Yo I champunch Mase in his face over some bullshit The other night". In the June 2007 issue of Hip Hop Connection, Wu-Tang affiliate Cilvaringz stated that Ghostface had in fact done jail time for "beating up" Mase. (gossiprocks.com)
