Irv Gotti Clarifies Violent Club Incidence with Ja Rule

A few days ago, a short video started circulating on the web of Irv Gotti and Ja Rule at some bouncers outside a club in New York. Of course, their archenemy, 50 Cent jumped on that real quick and joked about it, saying Irv and Ja Rule couldn't get into the club. In his recent interview on Boom 103.9 radio, Irv Gotti took out time to clarify things.

Read his words on this below...

You know what I'm saying. Like I can't get in the club. I've been getting in clubs easily since like the 90s...We was shooting a reality TV series called Growing Up Hip Hop. That's what it was...It wasn't a scene, it was a scene gone wrong. And I was mad at the scene. I told the producers of Growing Up Hip Hop, under no circumstances do I want to be involved in any beef or drama with my kids, or with the show. If y'all want that, we're the wrong people. Don't do it. My kids is like the best kids, the nicest kids, they're not beefing with nobody. So I'm not signing up to do a show where now they beefing and they got to be in turmoil.

Irv Gotti Indirectly Calls 50 Cent a Snitch

Image result for irv gotti and 50 cent

Back in the early to mid 2000s, 50 Cent was at war with Ja Rule, and Irv Gotti (Murder Inc Founder). The beef was just as hot on wax as it was on the streets. At a point during the beef, Irv Gotti, his brother, and a host of Murder Inc people attacked 50 Cent at a studio in New York. 50 ended up with a few knife wounds. That was when it was alleged that 50 Cent got an order of protection from the police against Irv Gotti (Irving Lorenzo) and his brother, Chris Lorenzo. Although 50 Cent has denied this multiple times, his baby mama at the time of the incidence (Shaniqua Tompkins) has said in interviews that she followed 50 down to the station to get the order of protection.

In a recent interview on Vlad TV, Irv Gotti indirectly calls 50 Cent a snitch while talking about the whole beef. He said after 50 Cent was shot multiple times, he started talking to the police. Read his words on this below.

Ja Rule Says The Fyre Festival Was an Amazing Idea

Two years ago, Ja Rule got involved in the organizing of a festival, called the Fyre Festival. It was going to be music festival, with bands, celebrities, people partying, and all that. But it ended up being a huge flop. All the celebrities that were supposed to be there didn't show up. Artists that were meant to play at the festival weren't paid, so most didn't turn up. Accommodation was messed up. In fact, it was one big flop. It turned out, the main organizer of the show, Billy McFarland was leading people on...doing poor planning, while collecting millions of dollars from investors. He ended up being arrested, charged, and convicted for wire fraud in 2018. Billy McFarland is currently spending 6 years in prison.

Ja Rule is walking free, and people don't understand why. Well, the truth is that, Ja Rule was also left in the dark on many of the organizing of the event. He didn't have any part in the collection of money from investors, or in the wire fraud Billy McFarland was involved in. In Ja Rule and Irv Gotti's recent interview on The Breakfast Club show, Ja said the idea for Fyre Festival was an amazing idea, even though it was executed poorly.

Read his words on this below...

Image result for jarule and irv gotti on the breakfast club interview"The Fyre Festival is an amazing idea. Let's not act like every f&cking body wasn't coming to the Fyre Festival. It was f&cking done wrong. It was organized bad. The idea of it was dope. The marketing was dope. Everything was done very right on that end. It just...it wasn't...we didn't, yo...The execution was extremely bad men. It was extremely bad."

Irv Gotti Says Artificial Intelligence Is Going to Create More Homelessness in America

Yup! That's what music mogul, Irv Gotti said in his and Ja Rule's recent interview on The Breakfast Club show. He believes Artificial Intelligence is going to make a lot of people lose their jobs to robots, and cause a rise in homelessness in America in the next couple of years. He was trying to stress the importance of people not having the mindset of being workers, but that of entrepreneurs when he brought this up. He believes when there are more entrepreneurs, it will lessen the impact of the damage AI is going to have on working class in America.

Read his words on this below...
Image result for irv gotti and ja rule at the breakfast club show"Artificial intelligence is coming. Right. So the working force...the worker bee...they're replacing you with a robot. Which is going to make more homelessness in America than we could possibly imagine. Ask anybody right. Say, how many months...like we all good right, but the normal person, you could ask him, say, how many months, if you lose your job could you survive...So when that robot comes in, and that company switches over to some AI (Artificial Intelligence), people are going to be homeless. Listen, this world is turning...is eliminating the middle class. It's gonna be rich, and poor."

Ja Rule Says Prison Changed Him For the Better

A lot of people go to prison, and come home worse off than they were before they went in. And some go in, have time to reflect on their lives, and actually come home better. Veteran rapper, New York rapper, Ja Rule, in his recent interview talked about how going to prison changed for the better.

He said this during his recent interview on The Breakfast Club interview. Read his words on this below...

Image result for jarule and irv gotti on the breakfast club interview"N*ggas go to prison and come home smarter than how they was when they was in the streets. I wouldn't recommend it either. That's not what I recommend. I'm not recommending it for them, but Malcolm X said some real sh*t. He said 'outside of going to school, another place for a black man to go and find himself and learn is prison.' And I didn't understand what the f*ck he was talking about until I went to prison. Because when I went to prison, I had to sit down in a cell, and f*cking look at, how the f*ck did I get here, in this position. You know what I'm saying? After all that I've been through, all the successes that I have, how the f*ck did I end up in this cell. So I had to learn a lot about myself, Envy. And you know what I learned? I was doing a lot of f*ck up dumb sh*t. And when I learned that I came home a different man. So in that aspect, I realized, okay I understand what Malcolm was talking about a little bit."

Ja Rule Says Every Black Person Needs Education

During the recent Ja Rule and Irv Gotti interview on Power 105.1 FM radio, they got talking about school and if it is necessary for success in life. While one of the hosts of the show (DJ Envy) and Irv Gotti both agreed that college wasn't important if you want to be successful in life, Ja Rule disagreed with this notion. His belief is that every black man needs to be educated to grow in life.

Read his words on this below...

Image result for jarule and irv gotti on the breakfast club interview"I disagree with you guys sitting here, being successful black men, telling people who don't have this same opportunities, or may not ever have the opportunities that we had that school is not for them. They need school. Every black young man and woman needs f&cking education. You can not get ahead in life if you are not educated. Period. Unless you can box and f&ck n*ggas up like Floyd Mayweather. Other than that, school is education, it's for everybody."

Irv Gotti Says College Promotes You To Be a Worker Bee

In a recent interview on New York radio, Power 105.1FM, music mogul, Irv Gotti said college promotes you to be a worker bee. In essence, he is saying that going to college makes you have the mentality of a worker and not that of a boss.

This was part of the discussion during his sit down with The Breakfast Club crew (DJ Envy, and Angela Yee). Ja Rule was also there, and as DJ Envy and Irv Gotti downplayed the importance of college in life, Ja Rule felt it was very important for young people to go to college, graduate and then pursue whatever dreams they had.

Below is what Irv Gotti had to say about college...

Image result for irv gotti and ja rule at the breakfast club show"I'm going to say something that again may ruffle some feathers. But college usually promotes you to be a worker bee. Cos what do you say to someone after they finish their four years of college? Get a job. So it promotes you to go to college and be a worker."

I get his point though, but right after he said this, Ja Rule chipped in and said, "For kids without passion." I am riding with Ja Rule on this one. I went to college, but my passion to be a writer/entrepreneur was too big to be crushed by the 'worker bee' mentality people get instilled in them in college. So, I guess Ja Rule and Irv Gotti are both right to some degree on their beliefs.

Ja Rule Lost His Virginity at 12 Years Old

Can you remember what age you lost your virginity? I don't think I remember the specific age, but I sure as hell know I was already a teenager at the time. That is not the same for Ja Rule I guess. He lost his virginity before he even became a teenager. Hmm! Interesting, right? In a recent interview with TMZ, the veteran New York rapper spoke on losing his virginity at 12 years old.

Ja Rule Details His Fight With 50 Cent 14 Years Ago

Ja Rule is about to release his new book (Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Becoming a Man), and in it, he details his altercation with 50 Cent back in 2000. That was before 50 Cent got shot, and before he got signed by Eminem and Dr. Dre. This was when 50 was an upcoming act signed to Sony Music/Columbia Records. A lot of people don't believe Ja Rule's words on the fight, and during a recent radio interview with Hot 97, he was asked to speak on it again. Below are his words.

“I’ve said this plenty of times. Nobody was listening…I remember a moment of bringing paperwork up to Hot 97 that had 50’s name. What’s the other dude’s name in the group? Yayo. Yayo’s name. I had actual, factual documents of them having a restraining order against us. And you know what people said? ‘Ah man, he doctored that, man. He made that up in the lab, man.’ I don’t got time for shit like that... So, what happened was I see him in Atlanta. A mutual friend of ours named Chaz…He sees me outside of the hotel before 50 rolled up. And he’s like ‘Yo Ja, you know 50 just want to talk to you about the whole situation that’s going on. Will you talk to him?’ I’m like ‘Chaz, I don’t have no problem talking to homeboy.’ I said ‘We’ll talk.’ So, he pulls up a little bit later. Now I got like a little bat around my neck or whatever. I’m holding the bat like this. You know how it was back in the day. You performed with little, stupid shit like that. So, I see him. He pulls up. We get to talking. And the talk got heated because I got mad and I started screaming at him and telling him he was a bitch. And this that and the third. And so he swings at me. He caught me a little bit, but I dipped it. And then hit em with the bat, ‘poom!’ So, now we start tussling. We tussling. Now my niggas is there. He got a few niggas with em there. Me and my niggas proceed to whoop his ass. While his niggas did nothing. They sat back and watched the whole shit.”

Yea, everyone said Ja Rule had a black eye after the fight, so it is good to see he mentioned that part about him ducking 50 Cent's punch. He must have downplayed that a little. Fif probably hit him with a solid right jab, before he got to using his baseball bat, and his boys probably quick joined in in beating 50. Well, that was a long time ago...14 years ago, and it probably can never happen again. But, it really did happen. 50 Cent fans need to get over it. Even 50 hasn't denied it.

50 Cent and Ja Rule Beef Rekindle

50 Cent came in the game dissing Ja Rule and the whole Murda Inc in 2003. An altercation between 50 Cent's crew and Murda Inc in 2001 had resulted in 50 Cent getting stabbed multiple times by Black Child (Murda Inc member), and he made sure he went hard at them when he finally rose to fame. But, everyone believed the whole beef was over, till 50 dissed Ja Rule and Irv Gotti at Summer Jam. You don't see Nas performing Ether at his shows, or Jay Z performing Takeover, but 50 Cent went ahead and performed I Smell Pussy at Summer Jam yesterday. Below are some lines from the song...

*Sniff Sniff* You smell that? What's that?
I smell pussy! (Is that you Irv?)
I smell pussy! (Is that you Ja?)
I smell pussy! (Is that you Black?)
I smell pussy! (Is that you Tah?)

Black (Child) is the dude that stabbed 50 Cent, and (Cadillac) Tah was signed to Murda Inc back in the day. So, what is 50 trying to do again? Oh, I almost forgot, he has an album dropping tomorrow. When will Curtis Jackson give up on his theory that he always has to have some sort of controversy surrounding him anytime he is about to drop a new album?

All this is funny cos Ja Rule was saying he didn't have any ill will towards 50 Cent no more earlier this year, and then Curtis turns around and does this. Ja Rule has taken to Twitter to respond to all this.

Ja Rule Paid $23,000 by the Government of Botswana to Market the Country's Diamonds

It might not be a million dollar deal or even close, but at least some money is coming in. Ja Rule got out of jail  last year after serving two years for a gun charge, so it is good to see that he has been making use of his brand to cash in some money. The government of South African country, Botswana has paid Ja Rule the equivalent of $23,000 to market the countries diamonds.

Read more about this below.

Brand Botswana, a department of the Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA), which works closely with the government, announced that they would be paying the rapper the equivalent of 23,000 US dollars to market diamonds – the country's main export - shortly after Ja Rule performed in the capital Gaborone. According to news reports, the amount of money paid to the artist could increase as Brand Botswana and Ja Rule are exploring possibilities of featuring Botswana in the rapper’s television shows. Only time will tell if this investment will indeed pay off for Brand Botswana. (globalvoicesonline.org)

Sales of All Ja Rule's Albums

As much as people like to clown Jarule, the man had a very successful career that most rapper would die for. He had at least four albums that went multi-platinum. He must have had a pretty good formula to go platinum not just once, or twice, but four times. So, today I have decided to put up Ja's Discography, along with his sales.

50 Cent Speaks on Why He Didn't Do Anything While on the Same Flight With Ja Rule

50 Cent recently let the world know that the reason he didn't do anything on the flight he and Jarule shared last year was because it is a federal offence to fight on a plane. Last year November, 50 Cent was on the same flight with one of his oldest enemies, Ja Rule. Their beef dates back to before 50 blew up with In Da Club; around the first coming of Curtis Jackson, before he got shot 9 times (or three times, as was later discovered). Anyway, the whole beef was around year 2000, and it was not too much on wax back then, it was more physical. It escalated to a point where Irv Gotti (C.E.O of Ja Rule's label at the time, Murder Inc), got together some of his artists and goons, and went out looking for 50 Cent. They found him in his studio, and the two cliques had a fight, which ended in Black Child (an artist signed to Murder Inc at the time) stabbing 50 Cent multiple times. If you want to know more about this, go on Youtube and type Beef DVD, it is all documented in there.

Anyway, back to the lecture at hand. After 50 Cent blew up with Eminem and Dr. Dre in 2003, he used all the power he now had to destroy Murder Inc...He went at them all ways necessary...on wax, in the streets, the legal way, going at their associates, at their friends, and artists who did songs with them. I am stressing this to show how much Curtis Jackson hated that clique. So, after Murder Inc dissolved, and Irv Gotti is going through his Federal case, and Ja Rule is off the rap radar, and then he ends up in jail, 50 finally accomplished his goal. But one would think that hatred was finally out of 50's system. I am sure Ja has no hate for 50 Cent right now, because after the flight Ja Rule was asked if he still had anything against 50 and he said- "Not at all, we both grown men now." He got queried a little bit more about it, and the interviewer brought up their beef from the past, and Ja Rule said... "That was a long time ago. We’re both about our money, about our families and we’re doing what we’re doing." (VIBE)

And when 50 Cent was asked about the same situation during an interview last week, he said...

"Well, you know, if you have any type of altercation on a plane, it's a federal offence. Right away. You know what I'm saying, so the federal guideline...you know immediately that you got a minimum five (years). The federal guideline is everywhere. It's the same guideline. So, you scratch your head." (The Breakfast Club Interview)

He went on to say he knew Ja Rule was on the plane before he got there.

"I knew he was there before I got there. You know what I'm saying? I usually...If I'm actually on a plane that's a commercial plane, I'm usually the last person on, and into the first seat on the actually plane. So people that were with me already boarded the plane. So, they hit you in the text, like "Yo! your man..." and I'm like "Oh! Okay, good...I'ma wait, and come see how he react when I see him." I mean...he was vulnerable, like he is by himself at that point. Even the person he had with him was at back of the roll. I kept getting up, running around, making him uncomfortable, feeling like he wish he wasn't there at the moment."  (The Breakfast Club Interview)

Hmm! It seems 50 Cent still has a huge amount of animosity towards Ja rule.

Ja Rule Speaks On How 50 Cent Crushed Murder Inc

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, when the Hip Hop scene was still dominated by east coast rappers, Murder Inc was one of the biggest labels out. The label had Ja Rule, and Ashanti, and their duets from back then were infectious and always turned to instant hits. Ja had back to back multi platinum selling albums from 99 to 2002. Irv Gotti (Murder Inc C.E.O) was even looking at signing Nas back in 2002. That was before 50 Cent came on the scene and aimed his lyrical oozy at Murder Inc...he kept firing till they were dust.

But it really wasn't just the music that 50 Cent used to destroy the Inc, he also...okay, let me let Ja Rule speak...

"It was a lot going on in that time frame. You got the federal indictment -- he was a part of the juggernauts at that moments. Eminem. Dre. They were very, very big in what they do and what we're doing as well so as we were big on our side, they were big on their side. As everything started to crumble for us, as far as we didn't have a label as a home anymore -- there was a lot of things falling apart for us. It was easy for him to get people to turn on [us]. And there were things behind the scenes that y'all don't see that made it seem more irrelevant. Like, we couldn't go to awards shows. They'd make calls. 'Well, if Murder Inc. is in the building, they're not going to perform this year. Em's not going to perform.' So we would get calls from MTV, BET like 'Yo, we love you guys, but guys, they're doing their thing this year and we don't want y'all in the building.' So now, as the fans, they're looking like, 'Yo, this dude is really crushing them. They don't even show up at the awards anymore.'" ("The Angie Martinez Show")

A quick recap- 50 Cent and Ja Rule beef started a long time before 50 blew up. It happened that Ja was in south side Jamaica Queens (50 cent's hood) to shoot a video and 50 claimed he didn't greet him properly or maybe he snubbed him or something, so he went and made a diss song going at Ja and Murder Inc. There is another story that the whole beef started when one of 50 cent's homies stole Ja's chain. Which ever way, and in which ever order, it escalated to the point where Irv Gotti and the crew went to the studio where 50 was recording music, and beat him up...50 Cent ended up being treated for multiple stab wounds, which Black Child (murder inc artist) claimed responsibility for.

This was around 2000, and 50 was a nobody at the time. So, when he made it big with Dre and Eminem, he went all out for revenge.

Ja Rule Switches To Movies

Ja Rule got out of prison about 2 months ago, and people where thinking he would put all that pent up energy into making a comeback rap album, but Ja has bigger plans. Ja Rule is going to play the lead role in an upcoming Hollywood movie titled "I'm In Love With A Church Girl." His last album, Pain Is Love 2 (2012) didn't do so well commercially, so it's good to know Ja Rule can still make money in another industry.

"Ja Rule isn’t letting a little time in the clink keep him from making moves, and up next for him is his

Ja Rule Out Of Jail...Penning Memoir

New York rapper, Ja Rule, A.K.A Jeffrey Atkins got out of Jail yesterday morning, after serving time for an Illegal Gun Possession case. He went in in 2011, and has almost completed his 2 years sentence, which expires on July 28. He is not completely free, but currently in House Detention. At some point...like 13 years ago, Ja Rule was top 3 most successful rappers in the world. He has four multi-platinum selling albums to his name, with two of them (Rule 3:36 & Pain Is Love) selling over 3 million copies (individually) in the U.S alone.

Ja Rule's spokesperson, Melanie A. Bonvicino spoke to TMZ recently, and said Ja is spending time with his family and completing his Memoir (book).

"My client Jeffrey Atkins (aka Ja Rule) was released this morning from the Raybrook Correctional Facility in Upstate New York to serve out his federal time obligation due under the terms set forth in accordance with home confinement which were secured by his attorney Stacy Richman." "At present, he looks forward to spending some time with his family while he completes his memoir."

Tracklist Of Ja Rule's Pain Is Love 2 Album

Ja Rule's Pain Is Love 2 album was meant to drop earlier this year, but was pushed to Jan 2012...below is the official tracklist of the album.

1. Fame (Intro) Ft. Leah Siegal 2. Real Life Fantasy ft. Anita Louise 3. Parachute ft. Leah Siegal 4. Superstar (Intro) 5. Superstar 6. Black Vodka 7. Drown ft. Somong & Kenny Dark 8. Never Had Time ft. Jon Doe 9. Strange Days ft. 700 & Ramzo 10. To the Top ft. Kalenna Harper of Dirty Money 11. Pray 4 the Day (Believe) ft. Leah Siegal (Pain Is Love 2)

I haven't really heard anything new from Ja Rule in a while, so i don't know how this album would turn out. But checking the tracklist, it seems Ja wants to be all by himself right now. He didn't future one rapper on the whole album...and the r&b guest appearances are not from popular artists, except for the dirty money girl (Kaleena).

People are saying Ja Rule is dead, career-wise...i don't know what to say about that. What i just have to say at this point is that even the rapper that allegedly killed his career also doesn't have a hip hop career right now, so anyone with the right track and marketing can shoot for the top.

Ja Rule's Pain Is Love 2 Gets Release Date

Ja Rule was meant to release Pain Is Love 2, his 7th album and follow-up to his 2001 multi-platinum selling album on June 7th, but the date was canceled due to him and 7 Aurelius not being able to make deadline for album submission. 7 Aurelius is the producer that handling most of the production on the album. Ja is currently serving a two year jail time for gun-possession charges, which he went in for on June 8th. Below is what 7 had to say about the album delay-

“The plan changed mostly because of the level and quality of the records we were making,” 7 told MIO. “We have exhausted every possible way to have it available on iTunes for pre-order on the 7th. The main issue is that Fontana needs the album turned in before they will release a date, or even start their process which is normally sixty days for digital and hard copy.”

So, now the news out is that-
According to HHNM, Ja Rule will release his oft-delayed album Pain is Love 2 on October 11th. The currently incarcerated rapper originally intended to drop the LP on June 7th.

Ja Rule Gets More Jail Time

Ja Rule is presently serving time for gun possession charges, but more time has been added to that. On Monday, he was sentenced to 28 months on tax evasion charges. I just wonder why so many rappers always get caught in this web.

Rapper Jeffrey Atkins, also known as Ja Rule, was sentenced Monday to 28 months in prison for failing to file tax returns with the IRS after admitting that he did not file his taxes for five years, the Justice Department said in a news release Monday. The 35-year-old performer from Saddle River, New Jersey, had pleaded guilty to three of five counts before U.S. Magistrate Judge Patty Shwartz, who imposed the sentence in Newark federal court. (CNN)

Prior to receiving his sentence, Rule defended his past financial mistakes.
"I in no way attempted to deceive the government or do anything illegal," he said, minutes before being sentenced in a New Jersey federal court. "I was a young man who made a lot of money -- I'm getting a little choked up -- I didn't know how to deal with these finances, and I didn't have people to guide me, so I made mistakes." (Associated Press)

It is just so funny that on the same day DMX got out of jail, ja rule got more time on his head. They used to be friends before they bought blew up; then became enemies most part of their individual careers. But i guess they should be cool now. There was no real emotional situation with that one; it wasn't/isn't like the 50 cent and ja rule beef. I think it was just X thinking Jarule was jacking his style. They sound pretty much a-like on wax.

Check out what DMX said about his relationship with Ja Rule below-

...It was like, I was sitting in the front and his wife was behind me. And I looked back and I spoke to her. And when I turned around again—actually I was getting up to leave and he was sitting there. So people were already looking at us and knew that I didn’t know he was behind me. It was quiet. So when I turned around and seen him, I could feel all the eyes on me. And I was like ‘Yo watup man’ and gave him a pound and everybody started clapping...

...spoke briefly right there, but later on at the hotel we took a couple of flicks together. We cool, but he’s just not the type of nigga that I would hang with. He never was the type of nigga I would hang with. But we was cool. I’d work with you, and yeah we can go to the studio, but we just two different people.

I like how X is very direct with how he feels; he has nothing against ja rule any more, but it don't mean they would be hanging out together.
