Ja Rule Says The Fyre Festival Was an Amazing Idea

Two years ago, Ja Rule got involved in the organizing of a festival, called the Fyre Festival. It was going to be music festival, with bands, celebrities, people partying, and all that. But it ended up being a huge flop. All the celebrities that were supposed to be there didn't show up. Artists that were meant to play at the festival weren't paid, so most didn't turn up. Accommodation was messed up. In fact, it was one big flop. It turned out, the main organizer of the show, Billy McFarland was leading people on...doing poor planning, while collecting millions of dollars from investors. He ended up being arrested, charged, and convicted for wire fraud in 2018. Billy McFarland is currently spending 6 years in prison.

Ja Rule is walking free, and people don't understand why. Well, the truth is that, Ja Rule was also left in the dark on many of the organizing of the event. He didn't have any part in the collection of money from investors, or in the wire fraud Billy McFarland was involved in. In Ja Rule and Irv Gotti's recent interview on The Breakfast Club show, Ja said the idea for Fyre Festival was an amazing idea, even though it was executed poorly.
