Ja Rule Out Of Jail...Penning Memoir

New York rapper, Ja Rule, A.K.A Jeffrey Atkins got out of Jail yesterday morning, after serving time for an Illegal Gun Possession case. He went in in 2011, and has almost completed his 2 years sentence, which expires on July 28. He is not completely free, but currently in House Detention. At some point...like 13 years ago, Ja Rule was top 3 most successful rappers in the world. He has four multi-platinum selling albums to his name, with two of them (Rule 3:36 & Pain Is Love) selling over 3 million copies (individually) in the U.S alone.

Ja Rule's spokesperson, Melanie A. Bonvicino spoke to TMZ recently, and said Ja is spending time with his family and completing his Memoir (book).

"My client Jeffrey Atkins (aka Ja Rule) was released this morning from the Raybrook Correctional Facility in Upstate New York to serve out his federal time obligation due under the terms set forth in accordance with home confinement which were secured by his attorney Stacy Richman." "At present, he looks forward to spending some time with his family while he completes his memoir."
