Top Selling Rap Albums So Far In 2012

There is just like 5 weeks left before 2012 is history, but still, no rap/hip hop album released this year has gone platinum. But anyway, I have decided to put together the list of the top selling rap albums that have been released so far this year. I will re-do this list in the last week of December, but till then, below are the top selling rap albums of 2012 so far.

kendrick is definitely going to overtake 2 Chainz and Rick Ross in sales before the end of the year; "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City" is going to end up the second highest selling rap album of 2012. Game's Jesus Piece, and T.I's Troubled Man drop Dec 11th & 18th, but I don't think they would have enough weeks left in the year to build up impressive numbers...maybe T.I would sell like 250-300k first week, but i might be wrong.

Third Week Sales of Future's Pluto Album

Future's Pluto album has been out for three weeks now, and on its third week, it sold 12,000 copies. The album s now at a total of 70,000 copies domestically. As i said previously, it would be nice to see him reach at least 200,000 copies total.

Second Week Sales of Future's Pluto Album

Future's Pluto album sold 17,000 copies in its second week in stores; it is now at a two week total of 59,000. This album might not crack Gold status, but it would be cool to see it reach at least 200k in sales.

Official First Week Sales of Future's Pluto Album

Future's debut album, Pluto has done a full week in stores, and it sold 41,000 copies. This is not a heavy-weight debut, so i think this is okay for a first week sales. He can build on his sales with the other singles off the album, and probably work his way to Gold satus.

Future's Pluto Album First Week Sales Projections

Future is a rapper on the rise in the hip hop game of recent, and he just dropped his début album, Pluto. The major singles from the album are Tony Montana and Magic. The album is star studded, and according to hitsdailydouble.com is projected to sell between 35-40k first week.
