New Video: Finna Get Loose (Puff Daddy and The Family feat. Pharrell)

P.Diddy is back to his original stage name, Puff Daddy with this new one. The title of the song is Finna Get Loose, and it features Pharrell. Puffy has been looking for a hit song for a while now, I hope he gets it with this one. But I don't really know though...Maybe after I listen to it a couple more times I might like it.

Pharrell's 'G I R L' Album Goes Platinum Globally

Yup! Pharrell Williams is BIG worldwide, and the evidence of this is that his G  I  R  L album just attained platinum status globally. The album sold 61,000 copies worldwide this week to now put the album at an 8 week total of 1,009,000 copies sold. It means he has three times more fans Internationally than he has nationally, as the album is still at 325,000 copies sold in the U.S. Congrats to Mr. Williams.

T.I Says He Recorded 250 Songs With Pharrell

In his recent interview with Hot 97 FM, T.I let the world know that he had recorded 250 songs with Pharrell. He also said he has narrowed down the 250 song to 25, which will be for his upcoming ninth album, Paperwork: The Motion Picture. The album doesn't have a release date yet, but T.I has said it should drop before the end of the year. 250 songs? WOW! Well, I didn't say that, T.I said so.

“I have narrowed those 250 down to the best 25. 5 extras are for international releases [and additional releases]...I want to narrow that 25 down to 20. Of that 20, I want to take six records at the top, six records in the middle, six records at the end, with two records as intermissions to the three. And I would like to shoot a movie that consists of three short stories, and the three short stories will connect these...records."  (Hot 97 radio interview)





But i still wonder, do this artists lie when they throw out this outrageous numbers? 250 songs? Howmany days are in a year again? Come on!

First Week Global Sales of Pharrell's 'G I R L' Album

Pharrell's album, G  I  R  L is the highest selling album in the world this week. Even though he sold just 113,000 in America, and debuted at number 2 nationally (behind Rick Ross's Mastermind), it sold 318,000 copies globally, and is the number 1 album in the world this week. This means that although Pharrell sold just 113,000 copies in America with G  I  R  L, the album sold 205,000 internationally. I think this is HUGE! Thanks to his smash hit, Happy.

Pharrell had a phenomenal 2013; producing hits for other musicians, and scoring movie soundtraks, but it's time for some 'me time' in his world.  The album, which is titled G I R L, is his first solo album since 2006's In My Mind, and would be released on March 4th.
