Akon Speaks on Reason For Having Multiple Wives
Akon has 4 wives (not girlfriend's), and in a recent interview with TMZ, he justified his need to be polygamous. I think his explanation is very interesting.

"If America adopted that [polygamy] culture there would be less domestic disputes. The average guy in the world has a main girl and they got a side chick. And then they got a jumpoff. At the end of the day as a male we are natural breeders by nature. We can’t even escape it if we wanted to. Let’s say you put 1,000 guys on one corner and one bad chick walk past. You gon’ see 1,000 heads go, ‘Damn.’ They don’t even know why they doing it. They’re natural breeders. It’s in their genes, they can’t help it. Even if you’re walking with your girl and you’re holding her hand and you see a bad chick walk by and she lookin’ at you like, ‘Boy you better not look,’ you gonna wanna look so bad and you don’t even know why that urge is there, but you’re a natural breeder. It’s what we do.Men are put on this earth to breed and the reason why God put multiple women on this earth is for that."
He also spoke on the union of Marriage-

"Marriage just solidifies a relationship between a man and a woman spiritually under God’s eyes. So, I can be spiritually attached to her, and still be spiritually attached to [another woman], and still be spiritually attached to [yet another woman].
Now, when you’re talking about commitment, understanding, loyalty…that’s a different conversation because what happens now is that people are having relationships, boyfriend and girlfriend, and treating it like it’s actually marriage. You’re just dating. The whole purpose of dating is so you can date this one, and date this one, and date this one until you find out, ‘Okay, this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. Okay, now I commit to what’s called marriage.’ You find that one woman that supplies everything that you desire in a woman, of course that will be a motivation to stick with that one woman, but I don’t know no one woman that can satisfy every man’s one need. It’s impossible. Just like there’s not one man that can satisfy a woman’s every need, but women aren't built to breed like that or mate with more than one partner Women aren't built that way, men are."
Well, what can I say, I can't judge a man for how he chooses to live his life. If the women have no problem with him, then who are we to condemn his act. He is actually smart enough to keep his wives scattered around the world, or else he would have been tried and jailed for Bigamy. But on the real, he made some point there...it really is had for a man to stay with one woman for the rest of his life.
Some Inspiration From Diddy
First he was just Sean Combs, then Puff Daddy, then he became Puffy, then P.Diddy, before he was known as just Diddy. The man has been around the music scene for more than 23 years. He has been around for 3 decades, and he brought us so many supper star musicians like Craig Mark, the late Notorious B.I.G, Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, The L.O.X, Mase, 112, Lil Kim, Black Rob, Young Joc, Cassie...the list is endless. He went from being an Intern at Uptown Records to building a $580 million empire with his various businesses. He recently launched his new TV channel, Revolt TV, and during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club radio program (on New York radio station- Power 105.1FM), he spoke on his come-up, and dropped some inspiration.
"It was less than 200 years [ago] that we were slaves. I was really affected by that movie ['12 Years a Slave'] and you gotta understand, I started out as an intern, man. I started out getting coffee, cleaning bathrooms. I started out sneaking on the train from Howard University, and this is really a dream come true. It’s bigger than me. There’s a lot of people out there that want to be somebody, and it really shows that if you put that hard work into it, you can really get it. I got the same 24 hours as y’all do. We all got the same 24 hours. I just want this network to inspire people all over the world that it can be done."
"This is the most fearless generation of all time. They’ve basically said, ‘Eff everything. We gon’ go out there and get it on our own,’ and we want to embrace that whole movement. I used to walk around and just talk to myself, walking from one job to another and I would just be talking to myself. Talking about the things that I [dreamed] and that I wanted to be. This right here goes out to all the people, y’all know who y’all are, and y’all know what I’m talking about. Talking to yourself about how you want to get it and what you want to be and this is something that’s big. People don’t have networks."

D Banj Signs With Mercury Records
I guess things are looking really good for D Banj, even with all the brouhaha going on with the Mo Hits crew. It became official in Feb that he was parting ways with his long time friend and partner in business, Don Jazzy. Since that happened, people concluded that D Banj couldn't go far without Don Jazzy. I guess this news, that he has singed with Mercury Records should give his haters a reverse of thought. He also released the video to his hit song, Oliver Twist, which had Kanye West and some other G.O.O.D Music artist making cameos a couple of weeks ago.

Mercury Records is a Standalone company in the U.K and part of the Island Def Jam Group in the U.S: both are subsidiaries of The Universal Music Group. What this means is that D Banj is global. Mercury would distribute his music in the U.K and all over Europe, G.O.O.D Music/Island Def Jam would handle the U.S angle, and you already know he has Africa covered. I wish him all the best in his BIG DREAMS!
