First Week Sales Prediction Of Game's "Jesus Piece" Album

I still can't believe this album is actually droping in a couple of days...I thought it would get pushed back or something. I mean, Game had another title (Five) for his fifth album, until he changed the title to Jesus Piece like 5 months ago. But, I wish him all the best. This is last album with Interscope, and he becomes a free agent afterwards. I would predict Jesus Piece would sell between 60-75k first week.

His last album, The R.E.D(2011)  Album sold 98k first week last year, but that one got more promotion than this. I think the reason Game got so many features on this album is cos he just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible, and get out of his contract with Interscope Records.

The album drops in 2 days, December 11 to be precise. Check out the tracklist below-

1. Scared Now feat. Meek Mill
2. Ali Bomaye feat. 2 Chainz & Rick Ross

  1. Are you kidding? This honestly is one of the best albums I've heard all year and there is a bunch of bangers on this album which will lead to higher promotion. I just can't explain how incredible this album is but my prediction is it will probably do 200k because almost all the songs on this can be singles.

  3. I didn't say it ain't a dope album, but dope doeasn't necessarily translate to sales. I still stand on my prediction of 60-75k first week. It might stay on the chart, and really sell when the word start getting out that it is dope, but that is what I think it would sell first week. Thanks for your addition.

  6. True., because of all the bangers the game probably planned on realeasing singles earlier so he can keep his album on the charts.

  10. 100k is a realistic target for an album loaded with features but i see it landing short of it with 80-90k in its first week.

  11. I still stand on my earlier prediction...between 65-70k first week. The album is great, but that doesnt generally translate to huge sales. I see it selling steady after its first week tho.

  14. Experts at histdailydouble have done their projections based on first day sales, and they are projecting this album to sell between 75-80k first week. That is pretty close to what I predicted it would sell.
