Crooked I Speaks On Religeon

Slaughterhouse member, Crooked I was asked about his religeon belief in a current interview, and what he said interested me, so i decided to share it here. Really, i totally agree with him-


You know what it is, bro? To be honest with you, organized religion, a lot of it is straight up B.S. and even in The Bible it tells you to not follow man. You’ve got organized religion and you can take for instance the Crusades and killing people so they’ll bow down to your religion. Take a Klansman who has no problem lynching a minority and then going to church on Sunday. There’s a stain on religion. If you really study it, there’s a stain on religion. A lot of people misinterpret it. A lot of people have killed in the name of God. So, as a person out here in the world, trying to figure out what’s my purpose or why I’m here, I don’t blame a person if they don’t believe. That’s because a lot of these men, a lot of churches or even with the Radical Islam factor, it’s hard to believe in anything. With the way that certain religions are represented, it’s hard to believe in anything. So, I don’t blame a person who is Atheist or Agnostic or on the fence. Me, personally? Yeah, I believe in God, straight up and down. But, I wouldn’t judge somebody who didn’t because in this world, it’s so crazy. Sometimes you wonder how a four year old can just get molested repeatedly or how can somebody just kill a senior citizen over five dollars or other crazy things that go on in this world. So, I can understand that way of thinking, even if it’s not my own.


I always like to ask devoted christians about what they believe in, and within my inquiry, i find out that they really don't understand christianity, they just understand what their Pastor has told them. They really don't study the Bible or anything like that. If you say you are a christian, it means you are a follower of christ. If you say that, how can you kill another man in the name of religeon when what Christ majorly preached about was to love your neighbour? Howcan you pray for the death of your enemy when Christ was totally against that? 


Personally, i believe in God because i communicate with him everyday, and i do not need a pastor or priest to tell me what to do when i can connect directly with God. There are so many false prophets out there that deceive all the gullible people.

Slaughterhouse Talk on Shady Records Debut Album

Since the super rap groups, Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden, Crooked 1, Joel Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9) signed to Shady Records last year, the world has been waiting on their debut album on the label. I still don't know which one of these guys is my best, that is how good they are. God bless them for what they have done for hip hop lately. By the way, Royce has a duo album with Eminem coming out soon.

While in Detroit, Michigan for a cameo in Royce Da 5’9” and Eminem’s upcoming video for "Fast Lane," super group Slaughterhouse has revealed new information regarding their Shady Records debut. The collective, consisting of Royce, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden and Crooked I, explained that they were happy to have time to record their upcoming LP, which they hope to have in stores by Christmas.

“We just getting started. We’re not going to rush it. We was behind the 8-ball with the last album. We had to get it done in six days,” Royce told MTV News’ Sway. “So just having an opportunity where time is not an issue, budget’s not an issue, we just gonna go in there and knock it out.”

In comparison to their eponymous 2009 debut, they haven’t varied their approach. “I wouldn’t say the concept has changed so much. Same things that we all have in common, the same things that the group was comprised from are still intact,” added Budden. “Still a very lyrical group, very capable group, very hungry, passionate - just animals. And we have one of the best animals now supporting us.”

The group, recording for the album while in the D, is slated to have Eminem’s stamp of approval. “I run everything by him, just ‘cause I trust his ear. And he has OCD, so he’ll nitpick my song apart,” said Nickel Nine. “So even with my solo stuff, anything I do, I try to run it by him. So he is like an A&R, I guess.”

CROKED 1 COMMENTS ON DR DRE'S DETOX ALBUM.

SLAUGHTER HOUSE member, and former DEATH ROW RECORDS artist, CROOKED 1 recently commented on DR DRE'S most anticipated album, DETOX. Everybody has been waiting on detox for about 4 years now, and it is funny that people are still ready to wait and hear this album.

I remembered before dre dropped CHRONIC 2001, in 1999, people didn't even think he was going to drop another album. By then he already had about 14 years under his belt with the must notorious rap group , N.W.A; as a solo artist; and also as a producer of many artist (SNOOP, EMINEM, THE FIRM...), but he surprised a lot of people because he still was relevant when he dropped the album.

With this album, dre had a master plan, he kept on building on, until one of the elements of that plan messed it up. Dre's plan was to build up his protégées(50 cent, eminem, the game), then use them to spice up his album, but, THE GAME, being the last ingredient of that soup, messed it all up with his beef with 50 CENT. So now that game is back in the studio with dre, i have a good feeling that the album would be ready before people can say CLASSIC!!!!

Below is what CROOKED 1 had to say about the album:

"What Dr. Dre needs to know is, people, even the ones that you think are the least likely to be waiting on Detox, are waiting on Detox," he explained in an interview. "That album is like a myth but I've been inside the studio and I've heard some of the bangers. Right now, he could drop 10 Detox's. [laughs] You know what's so interesting to me? Dre's a perfectionist and I don't know if he's not comfortable with all of the heat that he has but the work is there. The stuff I heard is bangin'. If he didn't want to use it, he could give it to me and I'll go 20x platinum with it. [laughs]" (XXL Mag)
