Soulja Boy Clarifies Things on His Alledged $400 Million Deal

Back in May, Southern rapper, Soulja Boy Tweeted about having just gotten a deal worth $400 million. That is a huge amount of money, so a lot of people doubted him and said he was lying. In a recent interview with Say Cheese TV, Soulja Boy clarified things once and for all, saying it doesn't mean he is going to get $400 million out the gate from the deal, but that the deal is worth that much.

Read his words below.

"Basically men, I just got involved into like some big business type shit, you know what I'm saying. Shit that rappers ain't involved in. You know what I'm saying. They gave me a big deal. You know what I'm saying. And what it was...we did a press release on the situation because I Tweeted about it, and everybody start, like running with it and putting all these stories about it in the media...The breakfast club, and everybody was talking about the shit, not knowing what I was...not knowing what was going on. So, basically, it was just a lucrative deal that was done with a bigger company that is outside the music. Which is dealing with, video games, casinos, inflight gambling. You know what I'm saying. Which was a new...um! It as a new contract that was signed by the Government. And nobody else had this contract but us. You know what I'm saying. So, that's why it was a big deal. So, what it was, it wasn't $400 million going into my pocket directly. But it was $400 million deal was the worth of the deal...It was a $400 million deal. It's signed, I got the paperwork...the term, is like the next 5-10 years, I'd get the money...WPFH, World Pocker Fund...Y'all google that shit...Right now, asap, like upfront, I'd probably see like, no more than like $30 million. You know what I'm saying. Within the next like year. But the whole 400, it's gonna be like the next 5, to 10 years before I see that shit." (Say Cheese TV Interview)
