I guess competition does help creativity in a way. Nicki Minaj knew she couldn't get her spot back from Iggy Azalea unless she does something catchy enough to capture black, and white America at the same time. That's what she would most likely achieve with this song....Anaconda. The song samples 'Sir Mix A Lot's' Baby Got Back. The song also sounds a bit like Fergie's Fergalicious.
