There has been a theory out there that Kendrick Lamar has a second album dropping soon; like a part two to his Damn album. A lot of people believed it would drop on Sunday, but Sunday has come and gone and no new Kendrick. People said the album would be titled Nation...as in, DAM(N)ATION. You get?
Anyway, the album didn't drop, and people have gone back to their normal lives, but I have a feeling Kendrick might really have some new music he is dropping soon. Why do I think so? Kid Capri appeared on some songs on the album and was in the studio a lot with Kendrick, and during his recent interview with Mass Appeal, he said he worked on a lot more songs with Kendrick and believes TDE might be dropping a second Kendrick album soon.
“I think they’ve got some more stuff—there are some more things—coming out later, but for right now, that’s what happened...Yes, absolutely. There’s a gang of stuff that hasn’t been used yet. That’s why I said I think he’s doing something later on, or he might be doing something for his show, but there’s a lot of stuff that I put out there.” (Mass Appeal)
