Jadakiss Recalls J-Hood's Sad Exit From D-Block

J-Hood was more or less the fourth member of The L.O.X at some point. He was front man for the whole D-Block movement. He was on a total of three songs on Sheek Louch's first album (Walk With Me- 2003), and was also on Sheek's After Taxes album (2005). And after things didn't pop off for his solo career as fast as he wanted it to, he turned against The L.O.X. The beef was very sad and unexpected. It was just so funny listening to J-Hood releasing diss songs aimed at D-Block...I thought he was the future of D-Block.

In a recent interview on The Combat Jack Show, Jadakiss spoke about J-Hood's exit from D-Block-

"We did stuff with J-Hood that Diddy would have never did for us. With that being said, it's like a mouthful. Some of the stuff we did for him in his life and his moms, may rest her soul, Diddy probably would have never did. I mean, he never did it so I can't say he would have never did. Stuff we did for [J-Hood], he never did. We only got mad at him after he disrespected us and crossed the line. He had every right to be angry because he just wanted to come out. He wanted to release his album. As an artist, you're supposed to be mad if your record doesn't come out after a certain amount of time. He was signed to us for a few years, but you know sometimes another thing you have to learn in this game is timing is everything. Alicia Keys put out the same album ten years later or whatever it was and Clive Davis saw a vision and it blew. ... He was like our little brother -- he was really our family. It was internal like that, so, it was a whole different situation. When we were beefing with Diddy, we really didn't know Diddy like that. We knew him as we go to his office or go to the studio. We was never really in his crib with his moms and all of that."

I remember 50 Cent was gassing him up at the time; the whole divide and conquer strategy. 50 even brought him up on stage at some point during a concert, when the whole G-Unit/D-Block beef was still on, and made him rock with them while Yayo shouted out- FUCK D-BLOCK!!! And there was a particular video he recorded where he was dragging the D-Block chain on the floor. I guess that was the heights...that showed how disloyal he was. No matter what happened, you don't act that way towards people that embraced you and tried to build your career in Hip Hop. He didn't understand that things don't always work how you plan them sometimes. Even The L.O.X have been having a tough time releasing their second group album for the last 10 years or so, so he should have understood how the industry works. Now, no one knows who he is, and people still know Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P. And another funny fact; he took sides with the enemy at the time, but now 50 is cool with The L.O.X. I am sure he would be regretting his moves right now.
