Jay Z's "Magna Carta Holy Grail" Fourth Week Global Sales

The album's sales jumped this week. Magna Carta Holy Grail sold 102,000 copies globally in its fourth week in stores. This is really great for Jay Z, and the best worldwide sales of any Jay album so far. It sold 77k last week, and 102k this week; I guess the Picasso Baby video is responsible for the increase. He is also currently on the Legend of the Summer world tour with Justin Timberlake, so I am sure that also helped boost his sales this week.



Please, do not confuse these numbers with national sales. The album sold 62,000 copies this week in America, and is now at a 4 week total of 797,000 copies sold nationally. But worldwide, it sold 102,000 copies this week, and is now at a 4 week global total of 1,046,000. Whoa! That's great. Platinum sold worldwide, minus the one million digital copies Samsung bought before the album dropped.
