Back when
Nas and
Jay-Z were beefing a decade ago,
Nas hit
Jay with this line-
"Eminem murdered you on your own song." The song he was refering to is Renegade, a track off Jay's
The Blueprint (2002) album. That line brought a lot of people to realization that
Eminem can be a beast on a track. Not like I personally feel his lyrics beat
Jay flawless on that song, but you have to know that
Eminem's best weapon has always been his ridiculous flow/delivery, and that's what gave him an uperhand on the song with
Jay, and with every other rapper he gets on a track with. But ofcos if you listened to the
Bad Meets Evil album, you would notice that
Royce Da 5'9 stood his ground on every song with
Eminen on that EP. That's cos
Royce is "Bad" on the mic...his delivery is just as malicious as
Eminem's.

In a recent interview,
Busta Rhymes who is another monster on the mic spoke on how a lot of rappers shy away from having
Eminem, or
Nas or
Jay-Z on their songs because they might get murdered on their own tracks...so they keep to the same set of rappers they are comfortable with on every other track.
"There's one of two reasons to me why the same people appear
on every song: one reason is either they're just the hottest dudes, and
the other reason is . . . [Long pause] It's interesting to me that Eminem isn't on a lot of people's sh*t. It's interesting to me that Nas isn't on a lot of people's sh*t. It's interesting to me that Jay-Z
isn't on a lot of people's sh*t. A lot of the very dangerously lyrical
motherf*ckers. I think there's a fear factor that plays a role, because
sometimes you really don't know if you're going to be happy with what
you asked for - especially if you might get your a** whooped on your own
f*cking record!" (Rolling Stone)
