The Throne; Jay-Z and Kanye West are still at the top...for three straight weeks now. Generally, the top ten is just a mix of G.O.O.D Music, Roc Nation, MMG and Young Money. And i am wondering what that LMFAO song is doing on the chart. No disrespect, but i don't consider their style Rap. I think i can still go with Flo Rida's style.

So, jay and kanye have taken the number one spot from Drake...i think that is fare. I can't really predict which artist will take the spot next, because most of the other tracks on the chart are old, or are not hot enough. But i would put J. Cole's Workout up as a contender. Let's see what happens next week.


I do think that Rick Ross's You The Boss track would make it on the chart next week.

Drake is killing the competition right, and his album is going to be great i am sure. At this point in my life, i would rather listen to an album with some emotional stories and themes, rather than one full with metaphors, and fake thug stories.

So Drake's Headlines is at the top just a couple of weeks before his Take Care album drops, so that is more promo for him. Basically, the chart is dominated by Young Money/Cash Money crew, and Roc Nation crew; but young money/cash money appear to be ahead...i guess it is what the majority of rap listeners want to hear right at this time in hip hop.

Niggas in Paris from Jay and kanye just got on the top 10, bumping pitbull's Give me Everything off. I am still waiting on Ace Hood's Body 2 Body to make it on the top 10...it is presently at number 13. Lil Wayne and Drake are all over the charts. I see Drake taking that number one spot with headlines in a couple of weeks.

The chart this week looks very interesting; there has been major movements. First off, Lil Wayne entered the top 10 this week with his Drake assisted single, She Will. The track is also the greatest gainer this week; gaining 3 spots, from 11 to 8 position. Elsewhere on the chart, Otis from Kanye West and Jay-Z, and Drake's Headlines single are gunning for the number one spot. I think I'm On One has enjoyed that position enough, it needs to fall back. And it is funny, cos Drake put in the most work for that track, so it is almost like he is fighting himself for the number 1 position

Personally, i think Otis would take that position next week, or in another 2 weeks. And then, depending on whether or not Drake shoots a video for headlines, which would give it a boost, i think it can get that number one spot after Otis.

The two tracks that i didn't really think fit being put under the "Rap" category, Party Rock Anthem and Give Me Everything are on their way out the chart. I can still go with pitbull's Give Me Everything, but LMFAO's Party Rock didn't ever belong on the chart.

Lupe Fiasco's Out of My Head was bounced off the top 10 this week, for the new entry from Lil Wayne, She Will. I hope Ace Hood's Body 2 Body feat Chris Brown, gets on the chart next week. It is presently at number 14. Niggas in Paris, the new single from Jay-Z & Kanye West's Watch The Throne Album is also working its way to the top 10. It is currently at number 13 on the chart.
