Big K.R.I.T's Live From The Underground album sold 12,000 copies in its second week in stores, and is now at a total of 53,000 copies after two week in stores.

I predicted this album would sell between 60-90k first week a couple of weeks ago. But now, the official first week numbers are in- Big K.R.I.T'S Live From The Underground album sold 41,000 copes after one week in stores. Congrats to him; he is at the number 5 spot on the billboard top 200 albums chart, and number 1 on Billboard's Rap Albums chart.

Live from the Underground, the album from Big K.R..I.T is projected to sell between 40-45k copies in its first week in stores. The album dropped 2 days ago: July 5th. This projection are according to first day sales calculation by hitsdailydouble.com. They have been doing this for a while now, and are always on point. Personal, I predicted it would sell between 60-90k first week, plus or minus. So, i am not too far from the truth.

First Week Sales Prediction of Big K.R.I.T's Live From The Underground

Three singles have been dropped from Big K.R.I.T's album, Live From The Underground, and they have enjoyed their fair share of radio airplay. Watching his career, and the type of people he appeals to, he is not the type to do it big with singles; he is the type to do it big with actual full length album. He is one of the few upcoming rappers from the south that i can actually take time to listen to. I would predict it would sell between 60-90k.




In recent times, there are few rappers that crack that 200k mark, and this is going to be Big K.R.I.T's first album out, so people would still be skeptical about getting it. But, the core fan-base he has built over the years would definitely go out and support him. I think if he sells 70k first week, it would be cool. He can then build on it. By the way, the album drops next week, June 5th.
