Young Jeezy Has Words for his Critics and Fans

I can't believe it has been ten years since Young Jeezy's major label debut album, Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Stuff like this makes me know I ain't young no more, cos I remember when this album dropped, like it was yesterday. I was in my last year at the University back then. Anyway, enough about me. Jeezy's first album, TM101 is about two be a decade old, and in the 10 year celebration, Jeezy decided to pen this letter to his fans and critics. He put up this letter on his Instagram page some hours ago. By the way, his first album was released July 26th, 2005.

Young Jeezy has a milestone concert coming up to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of his debut album, Thug Motivation 101. But while there’s many who refer to Jeezy’s music as Trap Music — the man who made “trappers” hot in hip-hop feels his music is way deeper than the simple label. On Instagram, Jizzle wrote a personal later to the world about his music and message.

"They say you have your whole life to make your first album, and they might be right.
Some call it poetry, others call it the ghetto gospel, but the industry calls it “trap music.” Go figure. Either way it’s the voice of the streets, and we all know that when the streets talk, we listen.

Chuck D Reveals Handwritten Tupac Letter

Apparently, just as Tupac was about to get out of Prison on a rape case in 1995, he had a lot of high hopes on doing working with Chuck D (Public Enemy front man) on various projects. Unfortunately, the collaborations didn't happen before Pac's life was cut short. I guess Tupac had a lot of obligations at Death Row records, being that Suge Knight had bailed him out of jail with $1.4 million. Yesterday, Chuck D shared a letter (handwritten by Tupac) Pac sent him from Jail in 1995. Check it out below.

"I'm sure u know how highly respected & loved u R by me so your letter definitely warmed my heart. I was also touched by your offer and show of support. It will not go unnoticed. Thanx! It was good 2 hear how well u aRe doing but hey it's only Right. Back in the dayz on tour with u I learned so much from what u did and how u did it. It may be hard 2 c but u have alwayz played a majoR Role in what it is I do 2day. I have a program I want 2 put together and I would like 4 u 2 be a part of it. I'll explain it 2 u in detail on another occasion. I also have a part 4 u in this movie if u R willing and 2 push my luck even more I would be honoRed if i u would appear on this track 4 my next album 'Euthanasia.' The tRack is called 'Da Struggle Continuez.' It will also feature Sista Souljah if God wills. So let me know. I just Received woRd that my bail pending appeal has been granted so I should be free by the time u receive this...I just signed 2 Deathrow so I should be working on this album soon. Thanx Again Chuck! I do believe we can make a difference and I have every intention of doing just that. STAY STRONG!"

Game's Father's Day Message

Sunday was Father's Day, and a lot of rappers, and other celebrities took to social media to share pictures of them with their kids. Game went a step further and wrote an open letter to his kids, and everyone that cared to read. He spoke about a fourth child named Madison in the letter. I only know Game with three kids; Harlem, Justice, and Cali. Anyway, read the Father's Day open letter from Game below; It was posted on his Instagram on Sunday.  

"Happy Fathers Day to me…….. Ever since I 1st found out I was going to have @harlemtaylor I knew the type of FATHER I could be if given the right tools so while he was in the womb… I worked my ass off to become a millionaire before his birth & just like I set out to do… I made it happen !!! & although the financial aspect was taken care of at that point… That wasn’t even 1/2 of what I needed to be a REAL FATHER. Once he was born, my heart took over

& since then I’ve been blessed with 3 other beautiful gifts in @littlemisscali @daddyslilworld & @kingjusticetaylor…. Each of them mean the world to me & as long as God allows me to breathe here on earth.. NOTHING will EVER stop me from being everything these 4 need. Not a tear will hit the ground…. Not a frown will last & any bad day will have to wait til tomorrow because MINE mean THE WORLD to me !!!! It is my life’s mission to make sure they grow to become loving, compassionate & successful adults with all the right tools to survive in a world that can be cruel at times….. Cali, Justice, Madison & Harlem… Daddy Loves You….. & that will NEVER CHANGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Father’s Day to all REAL FATHERS out there…..
