Checkout this recent picture of Detroit rapper, Big Sean and his girlfriend, Jhene Aiko at an event. It still feels weird to me when I think of the fact that Jhene was married to someone else just a year ago. But she and Big Sean look very happy together though. It is like they had always had the love for each other, but someone was just in the way.

Jhene Aiko Names Her Top 10 Favorite Rappers

I guess she seems to be in music news a lot lately....well, she got an album coming up. In the excerpts of her cover story for Complex Magazine, R&B singer, Jhene Aiko named her top 10 favorite rappers. Check out her list below.

1. 2Pac. I would get in arguments with my best friend who was a Tupac fan. 

2. Eminem. I love Eminem. 

3. Jay Z. My top three will pretty remain the same: Tupac, Eminem, Jay Z. 

4. Kanye West. I jacked Kanye's verse for my mixtape. 

5. Notorious B.I.G. I feel like I have to say Biggie off the top because it's Biggie.

6. Drake. I look up to Drake. 

7. Ab-Soul Of course Ab-Soul and Kendrick are in my top 10. 

8. Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick obviously--I understand him being people's number one. 

9. Kid Cudi. Cudi always does his own thing. 

10. Snoop Dogg. Snoop because he's Snoop Dogg. 

Jhene Aiko Gives Childish Gambino The Green Light

Childish Gambino and Jhene Aiko have been friends for a while now, and it seems she wants to be more than just friends with him. In her new Complex Magazine cover story, Jhene Aiko gave Childish Gambino the green light to take things to another level with their relationship.

Speaking of her friendship with Childish Gambino, she said...

“We have the same publisher. One of his best friends, Fam, went to school with my brother who passed away. We have the same sense of humor, very sarcastic and dry. It was automatically like, ‘I like you! We can be friends.’ He’s an actor. We’re both creative people. We are friends and we hang out. We’re just friends but I’m also single, so you never know what friendships can develop into. We like each other as people, so you know, who knows?” (Complex Magazine)









Hahaha! Dude better do something after this, or he will have Jhene's heart shattered. It's very clear she likes him very much, and wants to be more than just his friend. But it's funny she had to express her feelings via a medium like this, where the whole world gets to read it. lol! I'm sure she didn't know her words would come out like that.

Jhene Aiko Speaks on Her Admiration For Drake

There was a rumor going around about Drake and Jhene Aiko dating. I think that rumor died out when Drake started hanging out with Rihanna lately. The public crave for news like this so much, they would believe people are an item even if they were photographed together just once. Anyway, this post is about Jhene Aiko's admiration for Drake's musical talent, and not about her physical attractions towards him. In her new Complex Magazine cover story, she spoke on how much she looks up to Drake.

“I look up to Drake. Everything in his whole career is commendable. He can act, he can rap, he can sing. I can relate to him. He’s mixed; I’m mixed. Everything he does, I take note because I feel like he’s doing a really good job of being, like, well-rounded. And not only that, he’s really talented. I’m always asking him for advice with stuff and trying to figure out how he deals with being such a big celebrity.”











Jhene Aiko was featured on From Time, a song off Drake's latest album, Nothing Was The Same. She is a black Japanese girl, or Japanese African-American...anyway you'd like to put it. She also has some native American blood in her from her father's side. Nice mix. Her debut album, Souled Out is scheduled for a May 2014 release. Watch out for this girl...I think she is going to go places.
