Freeway Rick Ross Says John Singleton Stole His Story

According to ex drug dealer, Freeway Rick Ross, the late movie director, John Singleton stole his story to make Snowfall. The original Rick Ross said this during his recent interview on VLAD TV. He said John Singleton's TV show, Snowfall is based on his own true life story. He said he didn't get any call from Singleton, or any credit from him for profiting off his story. He said he did run into John Singleton at an event once, and Singleton was so afraid he thought he was going to get beat up, so he made some promises to Rick Ross, which he never lived up to till he passed.



During the course of the interview, the host, DJ Vlad had asked him what he felt when he heard John Singleton had passed, and he answered with...



"When John passed, the only effect that I could think about is that you know he stole my story. That was the number one thing that popped up to me. The guy who stole your story died."








At this point, DJ Vlad comes in and says when he read Freeway Rick Ross's book, he could automatically tell that John Singleton really did use Ross's story for his show (Snowfall).

Freeway Rick Ross went on to say...

"I mean, I felt the same way he felt about me. He didn't feel nothing for me. He didn't offer me a job. You know. It's sad, but you know that's the state that we in. You know, a guy would take your sh*t and use it and umm don't feel like he's supposed to do anything for you for it. You know, umm. Nothing even having the courtesy you know. To say, you what, men, thanks. Thanks for doing this for me, you know."

Vlad comes in and again and said he thought they offered him a consultant position on the show, and Freeway Rick Ross said...

Freeway Rick Ross Talks About Why Became a Drugs Dealer

Freeway Rick Ross was one of the biggest drug dealers in America in the 80s. At the height of his career, he was making millions every month from his cocaine trafficking business. He was so legendary that later in life, rappers copied his persona; Freeway, former Rocafella rapper, and Rick Ross were some of the rappers that were inspired by him.

In his recent interview with VLad Tv, he spoke on the things that got him into the drug business, and what he wanted to achieve before getting out. Read his words on this below...


"I based my whole...my whole drug concept came from Super Fly. That was my out. I wanted to be out like he did. But it was a matter of me accomplishing the goals that I had set for myself...Well, at that time, I wanted to have those four motels finished, I wanted four motels, I wanted my tyre shop making money, my beauty saloon...You know, I wanted all the things that I had started, I wanted them to be flourishing. You know, to be successful...None of my businesses wasn't doing what they were supposed to be doing."

We all know Rick Ross got his name from the 1980s American drug dealer, Freeway Rick Ross, who hasn't been happy about Ricky Rozay using his name. Mr. Rick Ross has taken Rick Ross the rapper to court many times, and has lost most of the cases. He has also led online campaigns to tarnish Ross's image, and also made some moves on the streets to assassinate Ross's rap character. On one of the songs of Rick Ross's new mixtape, Black Dollar, titled Geechi Liberace, he dissed Freeway Rick Ross...Indirectly calling him a snitch.

'Freeway' Rick Ross Says He Would Get In The Ring With Rick Ross

Everyone knows, but in case you don't, Rick Ross the rapper got his name from a drug kingpin from the 80s. Freeway Rick Ross went to jail for his drug trafficking crimes, but since he got out a couple of years ago, he has been trying to get a share of all the money Rick Ross the rapper made from using his name. He lost in court last year, but he plans to take the case to another court...I think to the Supreme Court. In a recent interview, he revealed that he is down to get in the ring and fight Ricky Rozay for charity.

“And you know what, I would take him too if we do it for charity. If he wanted to go down, we go in and we donate all the money to some kids. I’d be willing to do that…Yeah, even though he ‘bout 400 pounds bigger than me. That don’t mean nothing. Cause he look like he ‘bout to have a heart attack anyway.”

Freeway Rick Ross Says He Didn't Put The GD's On Rick Ross The Rapper

I guess everyone knows right now that the rapper, Rick Ross got his name from a legendary drug dealer from the 80s- Freeway Rick Ross. Ever since the real Rick Ross got out of jail a couple of years ago, he has been trying to get Rick Ross for all he's got for using his name and lifestyle to get rich.  He lost his case in court, but is preparing fresh accusations against Ricky Rozay. But the bigger news right now is the videos floating around Youtube, of the GD's (Gangster Disciples) threatening Rick Ross's life for portraying the image he is not in his music. Now, people are thinking maybe Freeway Rick Ross put the GD's up to this.



Freeway Rick Ross has taken time out to speak on the issue-


 “Just saw your question of me being behind [the Gangster Disciples] and a tip. I am not behind it. As I said in prior videos the streets have been mad across the country about misuse of my name and image along with other streets and cities images. I have had to hold people back from addressing it head on. I can’t hold this back without due respect being paid. Publish the requested huff post article and video to make the full position clear.”










Maybe Rick Ross the rapper should change his name to ricky rozay and put an end to all the drama. So, people are mad he is using a name, like most rappers (50 Cent, Scarface, Noreaga...) didn't borrow names from notorious drug lords. It is just something common in a genre of hip hop...the mafioso genre. And about Rick Ross rapping about selling cocaine...he is not the first. His new songs don't even have that in them anymore. He raps more about his success now. And that is a fact...he is a boss (a lebel owner), he is a multi-millionaire. In fact, his success is the reason why the real Rick Ross, and the GD's are going at him. It all just pisses me off, cos it shows how backward the black race still is.

Freeway Rick Ross Says He Had to Stop Goons From Confronting Rick Ross

I don't think there is any rapper in the game that gets more hate than Rick Ross, but he keeps winning with every move he makes. I guess success breeds enemies. I am not even a big fan of Rick Ross like that, but I see through all these jealous ass niggers going at him with every chance they get. Freeway Rick Ross, who was a legendary drug dealer back in the day is the one Rick Ross the rapper got his name from, and he recently said he once had to stop goons in the hood from taking down Rick Ross. He even said he had to talk Suge Knight out of taking Rick Ross down.



Read what he had to say below-

"It's hard," he said when asked how he keeps people from confronting Ross on the streets. "Trust me, these dudes in L.A. don't like what he's done...Even when I lost the lawsuit, three of the shot callers from the hood came to me and said, 'Is it time yet?' I was like, 'Nah, man.' I don't want that. I don't want nobody to do nothing to him. They want to put a no-fly zone on him, saying he can't come to L.A."

He also explained that Suge Knight has approached him about the matter. 

"Even Suge Knight came out. Suge stepped to me one day like, 'Let me handle this.' I was like, 'Nah.' It ain't about that."

This is funny...why would a former convicted felon, who is probably still on parole be talking about getting in touch with people on the street on some crime/assault ish. And he even went to associate Suge Knight with a possible assault on Rick Ross in the future. ..on live radio. 

Okay, I understand that this man might be letting people believe he is pissed because Rick Ross is using his name, but what is really pissing him off, and the rest of the people attacking Ross is the fact that he has been able to become so successful...and he is getting that legit money. They can say all they want, but Ross is the smarter person in this situation. They need to leave that alone, and mind their own business. I think Suge in particular needs to work on building a career for himself, and stop living on past glory.

I was a fan of Trick Daddy in the past, but even he is acting all envious right now. Of cos Ross started off with him, but people do grow, and people have different dreams. Some want to keep being the king of the hood, and others see bigger than that. So, when Ross started blowing up, Trick went on the internet and said Ross used to be a prison guard. Okay, Ross was a C.O for a year when he was 19, but that was 10 years before he became big with the rap thing. So, why bring that up. And why expect respect from someone when you tried to assassinate his character.

And like Ross keep saying, he is in Miami, and they can come see him anytime they want to settle it the street way if they want. Asides from that, they need to STFU!!! Everybody going at Ross have a couple of things in common...they either hasbeens, or broke ass people jealous of his success. Think about it, Freeway (former Roc-A-Fella artist) uses this man's name too, why didn't he go after him?
