First Week Sales Prediction of J Cole's "4 Your Eyez Only" Album

I think it's Interesting that J Cole would name his album after an old James Bond movie...I guess we should be expecting a classic album. Anyway, yesterday, news broke out that J Cole would be releasing his 4th album, 4 Your Eyez Only next week Friday (December 9th to be precise), and his fans have gone gaga as the news was out of the blue. I want to predict what the album would sell in its first week.

Official First Week Sales of Gucci Mane's "Woptober" Album

After a full seven days in stores, Gucci Mane's 10th studio album, Woptober sold 12,326 copies first week. This is his second album this year, and he is currently working on dropping another one before the year runs out.

Official First Week Sales of Game's "1992" Album

After a full week in stores, Game new album, 1992 sold 31,184 copies first week. I was expecting it to sell between 40-55k first week, but this is not so bad for an indie album that actually started out as a mixtape. Congrats to Game on another dope album. I would give it a 4 out of 5 in rating. It's almost as good as his last album, The Documentary 2.

R.I.P Shawty Lo

Atlanta rapper, Shawty Lo (real name- Carlos Walker) passed away around 2 a.m yesterday morning, after being involved in a single car accident. He was 40 years old. May his soul rest in peace.


I remember a couple of years ago when he was trying to shoot a reality TV show with his 10 babymamas and 11 children. My condolence to his entire family. 

Top 20 Highest Earning Rappers of 2016 (Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings List 2016)

Forbes started this in 2006, so this is going to be the 10th edition. The list is compiled by Forbes, and it consist of the highest earning rappers in a one year period. The usual suspects are at top three. No surprise there. But it is good to see someone like Kendrick Lamar on the list. Yea, he was on it last year, but he made more money this year. That's great for him.

You know what that last part means? It earns this is their gross earnings you are seeing, before Uncle Sam takes his share, promoters take their share, record label owners, and any other fees the rapper is to pay.

Hennessy Cypher 2016- Saeon, T-Rex, Dris, and Boogey

If you like watching/listening to cyphers, you definitely should watch this. This is sort of like the B.E.T Cypher, but with Nigerian rappers. In the other they appear, watch Saeon, T-Rex, Dris, and Boogey rip it.

They went from friends, to foes, to friends again. Fat Joe signed Remy Ma when she was still in her teens back in the late 90s. They had a little falling out in the mid 2000s before Rem went off to jail, but everything is cool between them now, and they are even working on a new album titled, 'Platas o Plomo.' The first single off thejoint album is out now, and is titled All The Way Up.
