J.Cole Finally Goes Platinum With "2014 Forest Hills Drive" Album

J.Cole's third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, which was released in December of 2014 has finally gone platinum. A big congrats to Cole for selling over a million copies of this album. I mean, the album didn't have any guest appearances, no big time producers on it, and it still sold over a million copies. I think this is a bigger success than any other rapper that has gone plat in the last few years (which is very few).

Read more on this below.

Official First Week Sales of J Cole's "2014 Forest Hills Drive"

After a full week in stores, J Cole's third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive sold 371,000 copies. Men! I never thought in a million years Cole would sell this much first week. I had earlier predicted it would sell between 180-220k first week.

With these numbers, J Cole's album would most definitely be the highest selling rap album of 2014...Big congrats to him. The album received very little promotion, but was released within two weeks after its first announcement.

New Music: Fire Squad (J Cole)

This is one of the new songs off J Cole's upcoming third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, which drops in 2 days (December 9th). This song has J Cole going at Macklemore, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, and Iggy Azalea. Give Fire Squad a listen below.

First Week Sales Prediction of J.Cole's "2014 Forest Hills Drive" Album

J.Cole is about to drop his third album, and I am ready to do what I do whenever a new rap album is about to drop...predict its first week sales. This album really has no single buzzing, or any real form of promo like that, except the fact that it came out of nowhere...Well, that could be a great strategy. Cole's "2014 Forest Hills Drive" album drops next week Tuesday, December 9th to be precise. I predict it would sell between 180-220k first week.

I like that fact that he is traveling round the country spending time with his fans and letting them listen to the album on his Ipod.
