Yep! Kim Kardashian West has been doing a lot of humanitarian work lately. The latest is her going to Sam Quentin prison in California, to see death row inmate, Kevin Cooper last week Thursday. She has been trying to get him off death row for a while now. There have been a lot of mixed reactions to this move by Kim; some say she shouldn't have gone, but the ones that believe the man might be innocent commend her for the move.
Kevin Cooper was convicted on four counts of murder back in the 80s, and has been on death row since then. Over the past thirty years, he has denied ever committing the murders. The only person that survived the incidence, a little boy said it was three or four white men that committed the murders, but according to judge Fletcher, deputies in charge of the case misrepresented his recollection and gradually shaped his testimony so that it was consistent with the prosecution's theory that there was only one killer.
Personally, I commend Kim for this. If the man is found innocent, she would be literally saving a life. You can watch TMZ's cover of her San Quentin prison visit below.
