The rapper everyone thought would be a flash in the pan is proving to be a force to reckon with, and someone that might be here to stay. Who am I talking about? Fetty Wap. His self titled debut album, Fetty Wap sold 39,000 copies this week, and is now a grand total of 378,000.

You do know that Billboard has added streams to album sales to secure a higher position on the charts. So Fetty Wap did not sell 39,000 albums this week. He sold 5,553 albums and 22,700 in streams so the total combined is 28,253. That doesn't mean he sold 28,253 albums, it means streams have been added to the album sales! ReplyDeleteI know all that. Do you want me confuse people all up in here, with the streams and sales and what not? The main thing is that A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF STREAMS NOW COUNT AS SALES. So, no need to go through what an artist sold physically, and the amount of streams that count as sales. I just put up the total figures. And yea, I know about hits double daily, that's one of my sources for this. They have building album sales, and they have sales plus streams. The number I have up is accurate sir. The 28,253 you saw was updated yesterday (Friday), which will be Fetty Wap's numbers for next week's top selling rap albums, which I put up every Monday...every other hip hop site also put that up on Mondays.
