Fat Trel Speaks About Being Homeless at 16

New MMG artist, Fat Trel was on Sway In The Morning Show (off Shade 45 satellite radio) a couple of days ago for an interview. Sway wanted to know about his rags to riches story, and while Fat Trel was narrating his first robbery, and how he would be on the streets, he mentioned that he was homeless at 16. Sway queried him a little further on his homeless situation, and wanted to know what type of 'homeless' situation he was talking about; Whether it was the homelessness of sleeping on a friend's couch, or that of sleeping at the subway. Fat Trel then took his time to explain his type of homelessness from back in the day.

"I was homeless...I left my mama's house at sixteen. You know? I dropped out in ninth grade. I was doing a lot of crazy stuff in the streets, so I did have...I did have family who's crib i could stay in, which was my hood friends. You know. But once the word got to their parents' what I was doing in the streets, it was like...'You heard them shots outside? He did it. Get him off my couch.' You know what's I'm saying? I used to like...my dude's, their mother...I'd wake up. You know? The Police would be waking me up like 'Mrs such and such says she wants you out of her house' so I was that kind of homeless. I wasn't resulting to go back to my mama's house, and wasn't go ask for nothing. So, it was like sleeping...I used to sleep at the laundromat, or somebody's doorstep." (Sway In The Morning)
