Ever since he dropped his debut album, Ghetto Fabolous (2001), I have been riding with Fabolous. But I have to say he is like Jadakiss in a way...great rapper, but never really makes great albums. I think his debut is is still his best if you ask me. It is his most well rounded album. I hope he takes time to make his 6th album great. In a recent interview with Los Angeles Leakers, Loso gave updates on what to expect from his "Loso's Way 2" album-
"Future is on there. Rick Ross is on there as well. I've been talking to Nas and trying to reach out to Kendrick Lamar as well."
And when asked if he has a release date for the album, he said-
"Not yet. I'm looking like May-ish. Mid May...end of May."
I hope he gets Nas on there; I've always wanted to hear Nas and Fab on the same track, so I would definitely be looking forward to that if it materializes. And, Kendrick would be cool on a Fab track too. I think Fabolous is underrated, and I think it is his fault. Maybe he doesn't work as hard...or maybe he doesn't want to beat his chest and say he is one of the best to ever do it. Sometimes, rappers need to be cocky on the mic, or they would just get stepped on...like how Jay tried to do Nas.
