Jadakiss Speaks On Upcoming Album

Immediately after Jadakiss (one third of The L.O.X) dropped his 3rd solo album in 2009- The Last Kiss, he said he was already working on a 4th album, and that we might even get it in the same year. But, it's 2012, 3 years later, and we still haven't gotten the album. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Jadakiss fan, and I love anything new from that whole L.O.X movement, cos I have been a fan of theirs' for more than a decade, but I just like when rappers stick to their words. Of cos they don't have all the say as to when their albums drop, but they can try to give the news when they are atleast 80% sure.


Anyway, below is what Jadakiss had to say about his 4th album, which goes by the title- Top 5 Dead Or Alive...

"It's coming baby, first quarter. Anywhere, February, March, April... You know, somewhere around there where it feels right," he said. "It's halfway finished now. When I finish this tour, I'll go home and finish the rest of it and then we strategize the marketing plan and get that thing out to the people."



The last album from his group, The L.O.X (along with Sheek Louch and Styles P) was 12 years ago, We Are The Streets: they are planning a sequel to that, and Jada said they have recorded about 7 songs for it already.

 "Hopefully, [next] year sometime," he said. "We probably got like six or seven songs done for that as well."
