50 Cent Says Lloyd Banks Would Have Sold More Records If...

50 cent recently made an analysis that Lloyd Banks would have sold more records if he (50 cent) had gone to jail around the time that banks released his album. He is trying to say that part of his hype would have rubbed off on lloyd banks. Read the full story below before i further the discussion.
The Hunger For More [Explicit]
"It's impossible to make that guy disappear when his light shines as bright as his does," 50 said referring to Lil Wayne. "I think [Lloyd] Banks would have sold 5 mil if I was in jail during the period when his album was released. It was a way for a Wayne fan to be just a Drake fan during that time." (VIBE)

Well, that is what 50 said, but i don't buy that. I think drake might have even sold more if Lil Wayne was around. Drake already built a fan base of his own. He is not a gangstar rapper, so how would wayne fans switch and become his fans. I know some wayne fans would have showed him love, but that is not enough for 50 to say that. I think 50 cent has been doing a lot of analysis lately, mostly which are not correct. I guess he is just looking for a reason for this or that, but the fact is he had his time, and it is over. He had it from 2003-2006; lil wayne has had it since 2007 till date, and that is like 5 years. Let's give him another 2-3 years more, because he has drake and nikki minaj to keep him hot, and his reign would also be over. And a new guy would pop up on th scee; everybody has their time to shine. 50 CENT used his to gather enemies, i guess that is why he fell so fast- as fast as he rose. I am sorry if i have offended any 50 cent fans, i am just spitting the truth.

And yeah, i forgot the main story- i think lloyd banks might have sold a little more, or a little less, you can't really tell how the market would swing. For one thing, 50 and g-unt was huge, but the individuality was not really pronounced. Of cos they were good separately, but 50 built the unit to be like "yes men", to him, i guess that was why GAME could not stick around. So, Hunger For More came out a year after 50's debut album, and it sold a million records, i think that is good enough. But 50 saying it would have sold 5 million if he was away in jail, i don't know about that.

I would like to know what YOU think.
