Rap Album on The Billboard Charts

This week has a couple of new releases, but not Heavy-Weight rappers. Kid Cudi Fell more than 10 spots from his last week number one rap album position. His fall opened the way for Nelly's 5.0 album to take the number one spot for the rap releases on the Billboard Top 200 album charts. Nelly's 6th album sold 63,000 in its first week in stores. Not so impressive, considering the fact that he once used to compete with Eminem when it came to album sales. His first two albums sold way over 7 million copies individually. I guess his time is over.5.0 Deluxe [Explicit]

Kid Cudi's Man on The Moon2 album comes in second with 36k albums sold this week. His total after two weeks is 206,000 copies. I hope he can make it to gold with this album.

Eminem's RECOVERY album has finally crossed the 3 million mark in sales. The album sold 34,000 copies this week, bringing the full total to 3,005,000. That is quite impressive; now we gotta watch if he has the staying power to make it to 4 million copies. I put him at final sales of around 3.3million. But you never can tell, Eminem is something else.

Lil Wayne's I AM NOT A HUMAN BEING album sold 28,000 copies this week, and this brings the total so far to 474,000 copies. He should go Gold by next week.
Man On The Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager
Cee Lo Green's LADY KILLER album sold 25,000 copies and now stands at a total of 66k. Twista's The Perfect Storm album sold 5,300 copies this week, and brings the total after 2 weeks to 19,000 copies.

Cassidy's first album as an independent rapper didn't do so well; his C.A.S.H album debuted on the charts this week with 5,200 copies sold.

Kid Cudi's debut album, Man on The Moon: The End of Day, has resurfaced on the chart, off the buzz of his new album. His debut album sold 4,100 copies this week, bringing the total sales so far of the album to 497,000 copies. That is 3,000 copies from 500k.

Next week is going to be very interesting, because we are going to see sales  from albums like Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday; AZ's Doe or Die2; Lloyd Banks Hunger For More2 and Kanye's My Dark Twisted Fantasy.
