Woman Says R Kelly Told Her Reason Why He Had Married Aaliyah

With over two decade long of investigative journalism, it is now clear that R Kelly did marry Aaliyah back in 1994, when she was just 15 years old. R Kelly was 27 at the time, and the rumor had just been just that, a rumor. No one wanted to believe a grown man would marry an underage girl. Lisa Van Allen, R Kelly's past lover has come forward to talk about the reason why Kelly married Aaliyah all those years ago.

While talking about her relationship with R Kelly and how they both shared secrets from their pasts with each other, she got to talking about what R Kelly told her about his relationship with Aaliyah.

"He told me about him and Aaliyah...umm, their situation, they had a pact, pins in eyeballs. Celebrity divorce and breakup news seems to be all over the place these days. Some have turned out true, and some are still being speculated. The latest is the rumor that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are breaking up their six year marriage. I highly doubted this at first, but Nick Cannon has revealed in a recent interview with the Insider (on Thursday- 21/08/14) that he and Mariah have been living in separate houses for months now. Could this be because of a rumor that Mariah Carey cheated on Nick Cannon with Nas?

Now that people know they are indeed separated, everyone is asking the million dollar question; "What caused the separation between Mariah Carey and Nicki Cannon?" A lot of gossip sites have been speculating that Mariah got pissed when Nick went on Big Boy's Radio Show and mentioned the five celebrities he had slept with; one of them being Kim Kardashian. Well, he was asked a question, and since he is comedian, and likes to be candid, he answered the question. Others have said it's because Mariah Carey likes to be the boss in the house, and Nick can't put up with that any longer. Even if she is 10 years older than him, he is still the man of the house. Another speculation people are looking into is if the rumors that Mariah Carey slept with Nas could be the reason the couple are splitting. 

Beyonce's Mom Says Jay Z and Beyonce's Marriage is Perfect

Yup! That's what Tina Knowles (Beyonce's mom) told TMZ reporters yesterday morning. She was stopped by people from TMZ while about to cross the road somewhere in America, and was asked if she could clarify the rumors that Beyonce and Jay Z were getting a divorce, and she said...





"Haters are gonna be haters, and there is really nothing you can do about it. Everything is perfect. Yup!" She also added that she doesn't read any of the rumors. "I don't read the bull (crap) you know."











Well, maybe not perfect, cos nothing is perfect, but we are now sure all the rumor about the divorce is just bullcrap.

Real Reason Behind Jay Z and Solange Elevator Altercation

Last month, a video of Solange violently attacking Jay Z in an elevator hit the Internet. There was no audio in the three minute long video, and it left people wondering what could have made Solange attack Jay Z like that. People started making up stories. Some said Jay Z had been flirting with a certain Rachel Roy; some said Jay had said something disrespectful to Solange in public; and some went on to say Solange has mental issues, and that that was the reason Beyonce didn't do anything when the fight was going on. I didn't believe any of those stories, I just knew it must have been an infidelity issue on the side of Jay Z...He didn't hit Solange back cos he was guilty. I guess my thoughts were on point. A certain female rapper named LIV has come forward to claim responsibility for being the cause of the elevator altercation between Jay Z and Beyonce. 

The girl, LIV did a special for Life & Style magazine and claimed Solange had seen Jay Z flirting with her, which made her attack Jay Z like that. She went on her Instagram three days ago and said the story Life & Style magazine published was true, and that she really was the cause of the Jay Z and Solange elevator fight.

Why Does Eminem Hate All The Women That Have Been In His Life?

I believe if you are always pointing at everybody in your life as bad, then you need to check yourself, cos you might be the one with the problem. Why does Eminem hate all the women that have been in his life? He married Kimberly Scott in June of 1999, after they had dated since 1988, and having a daughter (hailie) together in 1995, but they divorced after a year or so. And he has never had nothing good to say about her in his songs since his first album- The Slim Shady LP (Feb, 1999). They remarried in 2006 January, and then divorced again in December of that year.

Even his mom cannot catch a break. Okay, he apologized to her on 'Headlights', a song off his latest album (MMLP2), but for the first 13 years of his rap career, he put most of the blame of him being dysfunctional on his mother not bringing him up well. He dated Mariah Carey for a couple of months in 2001, and he bashed her on his Relapse album in 2009. 

There is no info of if Eminem is involved with any woman right now. Eminem is a beast on the mic, and highly talented, but he just doesn't do well with women. Creative people walk that thin line between sanity and insanity, so I guess he goes over to the latter side sometimes. 

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Get Engaged

Although Kanye West put the cart before the horse, it is still good to hear that he finally got engaged to his girlfriend/baby mama, Kim Kardashian. He made the event grand yesterday night at San Francisco's AT&T park during Kim's birthday party celebration.

Kanye rented out the stadium for a private event with family and friends, asking future mother-in-law Kris Jenner for her daughter’s hand in marriage days leading up to the night.

Kanyed popped the big question to Kardashian, getting down on one knee and presenting kim with a 15-carat diamond ring made by celebrity jeweler, Lorraine Schwartz. Kim joyfully said yes during the emotional moment, as an orchestra played Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye’s “Knock You Down,” as a fireworks show began over the 41,000 capacity ballpark, built alongside the San Francisco Bay. Weird MC Comments On Marital Status

Weird MC is one of the oldest FemCee's in the Nigerian music industry. I remember her big hit, Allen Avenue from when I was in primary school, some 20 or so years ago. You can't think of Nigerian Hip Hop and not think about her, cos she was the first doing it, regardless of gender. Weird MC really is weird, and her androgynous looks make people question her sexuality. Not much is known about that. She recently dropped two new tracks, Ijoya (Remix) and Fiesta, and HipHop World Magazine caught up with her while she was promoting the singles. When she was asked whether they were any plans of marriage in the near future, she said...

Superstar rapper Nelly, although very successful, and at the prime marriageable age of 38, is still single. He dated songstress, Ashanti for 7 years, but still no wedding bells for him just yet. The thing about marriage is nobody is going to force me into anything. Nobody is going to rush me into anything. I take marriage very seriously. I only know two ways of marriage. He also spoke on the disadvantages of dating co-celebrities-

The thing is, it’s hard when you’re in this business. Let’s say you’ve known someone for seven years. But you’ve known them for seven years in this business. Now, let’s take a couple that’s an everyday average couple and they’ve know each other for seven years. The regular couple’s seven years  is a little different because they’ve actually been together almost every day for seven years. [The other] couple may have known each other for seven years, but they probably only been together five days out of a month. So although the time has went, it really hasn’t been seven years of knowing them. It’s probably on equaled out to three and a half years, as far as 365 days in being with that person. You look at a regular couple, seven years yeah that’s a long time [because] they’ve actually been together seven years.You don’t learn as much about a person as you would like to until you actually get a chance to stop and be with that person. I think people see the relationships that industry folks have and they see the time, but they’re not doing the math on that time. If you do the math on that time you will see that it equals out to something totally different than if [the couple were together every day.

Nas Speaks on Getting Married Again...Says He's Shy

The last track on Nas's new album, Life Is Good, Bye Baby is an emotional track about his marriage and divorce to singer, Kelis. He put it all out there with that song. In a recent interview, when he was asked if he will try the institution of marriage again, he said he would but he doesn't know how to go about it. He says he has opportunities to meet all sorts of women all around the world, but that he is shy, and doesn't instigate the move. I read on twitter everyday how hundreds of females of all ages proclaim their love for this man, and how they would marry him in a heart-beat...but that doesn't mean they would be right for him. I guess I understand where he is coming from.

Below is what he said about dating again, and finding that right person-

"Well, I thought that I found one, and I don't know, bro. I'm messed up out here, man. I got the opportunity to meet people all over the world," he shared. "Brilliant women, tall women, short women, slim women, thick women, you name it. But, I don't meet them. I have the opportunities to and it's a little bit — I'm a little shy, so I don't meet them and I don't know who's right for me. I looked at people like Harry Belafonte — he's been married like three times; Richard Pryor — he's been married like five times. So many affluent men are faced with finding love problems. I'm sure beautiful, affluent women are faced with the same things sometimes. Halle Berry can't seem to get a break, you know what I'm saying? So, it's just something that I don't know if we'll ever figure out. I hope I do while I'm here."

Nas Speaks on Marriage With Kelis

Nas has never really been the type to be let people into his private place, and that has always intrigued people. But when he went through his divorce with Kelis, the public got a fair share of his "business". Since he and ex-wife Kelis separated a couple of years back, he hasn't really spoken on the matter. But, he got with Complex Magazine for their June Cover, and he spilled the beans.

On when he knew his relationship with Kelis was over
There was a point where we were trying to hold onto a relationship that was finished. She was pregnant and in the studio while we were recording Distant Relatives, and he would move when the music would come on. That was a great feeling for me, just to have that feeling of family. It ended around the time the record was being done.

There were times when it didn’t bother me, and there were times when it bothered me a lot. There were times when I was thinking, ‘Damn. I had this shit all planned out, and now I’ve failed’. That was hard on me, because I don’t like to fail at anything. Accepting that I failed at this relationship—and it was public—messed me up. You ask yourself, ‘How could that person be so cold’? And I’m sure she felt the same way about me. It was ugly.





On whether he knew they weren’t going to make it as a couple
Yeah, but it was a problem I was attracted to. It was rock and roll. I saw Kelis as Courtney Love—but I also saw her as a mahogany queen. I saw us as a beautiful thing. I saw us as inspiration. People weren’t seeing hip-hop artists get married. A lot of people came at me crazy. But I think overall, we were inspiring people to love.


There was a lot that was thrown at her that she couldn’t handle. Like I was saying earlier, there’s a lot that I could tell my kids, but they’ve got to fish it out for themselves. Every night, she was in bed with Harvard. She was sleeping with Harvard. She had all the answers, but I needed something more from her, that she either wasn’t ready or didn’t know how to provide. Plus, she is younger than me and she hadn’t seen all the things I had seen. She was on her journey, I was on mine. In the beginning, I said, “There’s parts of this that might not work,” but there was a beautiful part of it, too. For the most part, I had a great time being married. It was amazing. She’s an amazing woman.



On  Kelis dissing him publicly
She did. Over Twitter [...] the response was not good. There were bad tweets. She was angry. She was lashing out at anyone—and anyone she would lash out at, people automatically thought she was talking about me. My daughter would be calling me, like, “Dad. I’m on my way to school, and they’re talking about you on the radio.” My daughter wanted to tweet back and sh-t, and I told her to take the high road. It was ugly.



On their relationship now

On whether he gets to see his son
That side is not great yet, but it’s working toward being that way. She’s a new mom. I’m busy and she’s busy. From what I see, she’s being a good mom, and it’s working toward a great place. There was a time when I couldn’t see him at all. It was terrible when the divorce was fresh.





On whether he hated her at any point
No. I got to a point where I was like, “Did she always hate me?” and “Did she ever love me at all?” I’ve got to admit, I did feel like that. But she did love me.

On the money he lost in the divorce
It’s f-cked up when money’s involved in divorce. And I don’t give a f-ck. I can’t take it with me, so someone can take the money. Anyone that I’m married to, if I give you my life, I give you my heart, I love you—my money is nothing. You can have it all. It’s just sad that when you’re dealing with love and life and marriage, that marriage is a contract. It’s a business deal. That messes people up.



On whether he ever sees himself getting married again
Not right now. I’m enjoying life and looking at each day like, “This is beautiful.” I’m having a good time. I’m not going to bring anybody in to mess that up. You come around looking like you’re going to mess this good time up, you’re out of here—fast. [Laughs.] I’m not sacrificing my happiness for nobody and their drama. No way.




On his new track titled ‘Daughter’ and how guilty he feels sometimes
This is the first time I’m dealing with a teenage daughter, and it blows me away. I don’t know that you’re ever prepared to be a parent. Once you become one, that’s your responsibility. It’s more like me talking to myself, about how I could have been there a lot more. I beat myself up for not being the best I could be. I would ask her: “Am I a cool dad?” or “Am I a good dad? Did I f-ck up?” And she would say, “Nah, you’re good.” That’s important to me because I started as a teen. I was around 19 when her mother was pregnant. My daughter means a lot to me. Drake Still Dreams of Getting Married To Nicki Minaj

On one of the songs of his debut album, Drake talked about wanting to get married to his Young Money label-mate, Nicki Minaj, and there was even a rumour some time last year that they had gone ahead to get married. He has come forward again to say he still dreams of getting married to Nicki and that the marriage offer is still on the table-




"I don't know if we were really pretending. I'd marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all of this and be able to love me," Drake reveals about his Young Money group member. "I guess I thought it was more [with me and RiRi]. That was the first girl with any fame that paid me any mind. You spend days reading about this person in magazines. All of a sudden you have this number-one song and you're at some birthday party and there she is. I think i understand what he means with the Rihanna part- he must have viewed riri as a superstar, just getting to meet her, and her giving him all the attention made him feel like there was something. I guess that's just show-biz.


A lot of people say Drake is too emotional, i just say he just puts how he feels out there, while a lot of people bottle it up. I think, if he wants to keep rapping, he has to talk about his life, and not some fabricated stories, so there should be no offence for him being him.
