Woman Says R Kelly Told Her Reason Why He Had Married Aaliyah

With over two decade long of investigative journalism, it is now clear that R Kelly did marry Aaliyah back in 1994, when she was just 15 years old. R Kelly was 27 at the time, and the rumor had just been just that, a rumor. No one wanted to believe a grown man would marry an underage girl. Lisa Van Allen, R Kelly's past lover has come forward to talk about the reason why Kelly married Aaliyah all those years ago.

While talking about her relationship with R Kelly and how they both shared secrets from their pasts with each other, she got to talking about what R Kelly told her about his relationship with Aaliyah.

"He told me about him and Aaliyah...umm, their situation, they had a pact, pins in eyeballs. No matter what anyone said or if anyone stuck pins in their eyeballs, they would never tell about their relationship...He told me that they were married. That she was pregnant. That they did doctor up the marriage certificate so she would say that she was 18. So they could get married. And the reason they got married was because they felt like if he was married to her and if he said he thought that she was 18 that he wouldn't be charged if someone found out that she was pregnant until they were able to get an abortion, and get it annulled...And this came out of his mouth. Like I can take a lie detector test to this. This is what he told me. Specifically told me."

Timbaland Comments on News of Drake Executive Producing Aaliyah's Upcoming Posthumous Album

News got on the internet a few days ago that Drake would be executive producing Aaliyah's posthumous album, and it has gotten a lot of people talking. During her years alive and recording, she was first with R.Kelly, then moved to Timbaland and Missy Elliot's camp. People are saying if there is anyone that should be involved in that album, it should be at least one of these three people...and not Drake, who was 14 years old when she passed on 11 years ago. God Bless her soul. Timbaland has spoken on the issue...

Timbaland doesn't want Drake to do an Aaliyah album--unless he and Missy Elliott are involved. The super producer spoke with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club about the rumor that Drizzy is in talks to executive produce the album , and was pretty clear about all of the components that need to line up first. "I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and him, and Missy." Even though the YMCMB rapper allegedly contacted Aaliyah's estate over plans to make the project, Timbaland revealed that the 25-year-old has yet to reach out to him. "I don't know what's going on. The proper way to do that would be for me him and Missy to be all on the record." (HHW)

Let's see how this plays out. By the way, Drake already has a finished song with her voice on it, which would serve as his newest single. He has said he would drop it in a couple of weeks...or days.

DMX Talks About Aaliyah

On Aug 25, 2001, 10 years ago, r&b singer Aaliyah had just finished filming the video of her "Rock The Boat" single in The Bahamas, and she and her crew decided to travel back to the States immidiately, instead of waiting till the next day. The whole crew, including Aaliyah, boarded a Cessna 402 with all their equipments, instead of the 404 Cessna they had flown in from The States. Minutes after take-off at just 200 feet, the plane crashed because it was over its maximum takeoff weight by 320kg. DMX and Aaliyah were close, and he remembers Aaliyah in a recent interview-

...X was interviewed on BET's 106 and Park, honoring the singer on the 10-year anniversary of her death.
When asked about his fondest memory of Aaliyah, DMX recalled, "It was one of the awards shows out in L.A. that we went to together. Me, her, and her brother, actually. Up until then, I had never went to any award show with anyone but my wife. I rented the convertible, Rolls Royce, and I just made the movie, you know? We had a good time."
Describing Aaliyah as talented and an "angel," X revealed a special tribute to the singer: the rapper named his youngest daughter Aaliyah.
"This is Aaliyah," said X, showing his daughter to fans. "That's how special she was to me."
"Know that you're named after an angel," added the Yonkers emcee, speaking to his daughter.

Men!!! I ain't gonna lie, out of all the celebrities that passed in the last 3 decades, Aaliyah's death got to me the most. Imagine how she must have felt just before she died...autopsy showed that she suffered severe shock. DMX and Aaliyah must have gotten close from the set of "Romeo Must Die". May her soul rest in peace.

J.Cole Had a Crush On Aaliyah

J.Cole just confessed that he had such a crush on Aaliyah; i must say that he is not the only one. I had such a huge crush on Aaliyah like i have never had on any other r&b singer that has ever been on the scene. Till today, my eyes almost get watery when her videos come on- especially the "more than a woman" video.

Aaliyah just had that thing about her; it wasn't sexiness or anything like what female artist like to portray nowadays. She was really a germ.

Below is what J.Cole had to say about his crush on her:
"Aaliyah, man, it's such a [tragedy]," Cole said in an interview. "I had such a crush on Aaliyah. It was like a little boy crush but it was a true crush. Then when she died, I called my mentor because he was way older than me and I was like, 'Man, you think it would be corny? I want to make a beat.' I was always naming my beats, and this beat I wanna make for Aaliyah. Not a song, I just wanted to make a beat...I did a beat. I wish I could remember, like, I remember slightly what the beat sounded like. But that was my way to pay respect in my own little world, in my own room, just making a beat for her." (Soul Culture)

Aww! That is so sweet.
