Kash Doll Narrates How She Got Lil Wayne On Her Song, Kitten

Kash Doll is fast rising in the Hip Hop world right now. I especially like how creative she gets on her songs/videos. I love the story telling on her song, Hustler. That is something you rarely see with female rappers; most are okay with talking about how big their tits and a$$ are. But she told a very interesting story on that song, and visuals for that was real dope. You should check it out.

Anyway, on her recent interview on The Angie Martine Show, she talked about how she got Lil Wayne on her latest single, Kitten. She actually had to go through his daughter, Regina.

Read her words on this below...

She likes my music and stuff, that's my girl. So I was like, umm 'I wanna see your dad today. How can I be able to meet him?'...She like, 'Let me give you my uncle, Mac number.' So she sends me uncle Mac's number, so I hit him like..."What's up uncle Mac.' I'm like, 'I want to know if I'm able to meet Lil Wayne today. DADADADADADA!' So at first he was like, 'no you won't be able to meet him, but I can make sure you on the side of the stage or whatever.' And then he was like, 'who's this?' I'm like, 'Kash Doll.' And he's like, 'oh, yea, you will be able to meet him. He likes you.' I'm like, he likes me? You know, all this stuff be having to sink in. It takes me time. I gotta woosa! And umm, I'm like, 'okay...I'm standing on the side of the stage, so they say he about to come off, now I'm nervous. I'm always getting nervous when it's time. And umm, he walks out. As soon as he sees me, he like, 'Kash Doll!!?' I'm like, 'Me.' So we kick it, and then, right before he live, he was like, 'Ice me out.' I was like, 'oh yo, he said ice me out.'

Birdman Speaks on How Lil Wayne Motivated Him When He Was Down

For those that that don't know, Lil Wayne signed with Birdman's Cash Money Records back in 1995, when he was just 12 years old. Cash Money started popping about 3-4 years later, with Juvenile as the biggest rapper on the roaster, and The Hot Boys (Juvenile, BG, Young Turk, and Lil Wayne) doing their thing. But, everything went downhill when people started to leave the label. They were one of the hottest cliques in the late 90s, but by the early 2000s, rappers started leaving the label. Juvenile left, BG left...at a point, it was just Birdman, Mannie Fresh (Artist/Producer), and Lil Wayne. At that point, Birdman was distraught as he had put in his blood, sweat, and tears to build up those artists. While he was down, he said Lil Wayne said something to him that woke him up. He said this during his recent interview on Nore and DJ EFN's show, Drink Champs.

Read his words on this below...

"When all that sh*t took place brah, it kind of f*ck&d with me cos I never thought it could happen. N*ggas would just go separate knowing how hard we come up and we really started with nothing and I blessed n*ggas. I gave my life to this sh*t. Honestly I put my everything on line. If I was going to die, I was going to die. If I had to kill I was going to...Whatever had to be done, I was with that sh*t. So, when it did happen, Wayne came to me like...cos I was in my feelings about this sh*t like, y'all n*ggas know what it is. N*gga y'all know what it is. He was like, 'men! F*ck them n*ggas men! I'm better than all them n*ggas together anyway.' That sh*t woke me up. I said, 'you know what, you're right. F*ck them n*ggas. Let's go.' And that sh*t turned me up. We ain't never look back."

Lil Wayne Files $20 Million Lawsuit Against Former Lawyer for Overcharging Him

According to TMZ, superstar rapper, Lil Wayne is suing his former lawyer, $20 million dollars for overcharging him. It's kind of funny to think of a lawyer being sued. Anyway, the lawyer's name is Ronald Sweeney, and Wayne started using him as far back as 2005, and they caught ties September, 2018.

The man charged Lil Wayne 10% for every deal closed, and now that Wayne has found out that the industry standard is 5%, he wants to get the man back for all he was cheated out of.

New Video: No Frauds (Nicki Minaj feat. Lil Wayne, and Drake

Nicki Minaj just released the music video for her song, No Frauds, which features Lil Wayne, and Drake. This is the response track to Remy Ma's diss track, Shether. She really stressed the parts of her lyrics where she is going at Remy in this video. I know Remy kinda stopped the whole beef/battle cos  Nicki said the only reason she is relevant was cos she was dissing her, and Remy Ma wanted to distance herself from the beef, but I have a feeling Remy might be dropping another hot diss record soon.

Anyway, enjoy the video below.

Throwback Pic of Lil Wayne

Yesterday was Lil Wayne's 34th birthday, and Revolt TV's official Instagram handle shared this throwback picture of Lil Wayne. He was probably like 11-12 years old in this picture, and he already got swag.

Throwback Pic of Birdman and Lil Wayne

Birdman and Lil Wayne might be going through their dispute, but it don't stop Baby from wishing Weezy a happy birthday. Today is Lil Wayne's 34th birthday and Birdman took time out to wish him a happy birthday a couple of hours ago on Instagram, and also shared this throwback picture of them with the message. I am guessing this was like late 90s. Wayne was probably like 16 years old in this picture.

Kendrick Lamar Anrgy at Lil Wayne for Wanting to Retire from Rap Music

I wanted to go with this title- Kendrick Lamar Begs Lil Wayne Not to Retire from Rap- but it would have sounded awkward to some Kendrick fans. Really, that is how it appears in this video of Kendrick ranting in the studio. The video leaked online a few days ago, and it shows Kendrick rapping to old Lil Wayne songs from back in the Hot Boyz era (99-2000), and then it skips to where Kendrick is talking about Lil Wayne wanting to retire, and almost threatening Wayne not to do so.

Below are some of what Kendrick said in the video.

Lil Wayne List His Top 3 Rappers Of All Time

Lil Wayne was on ESPN a couple of days ago, and during the course of the interview, he was asked to list his top 3 favorite rappers of all time, and the usual suspects came up...

Lil Wayne Speaks on What He Bought With The First Check He Got From Rapping

Lil Wayne got signed to Cash Money Records back in 1994, at the young age of 12, so you know he has been grinding for a long while. In a recent interview with ESPN, he narrated what he did with the first check he received from Cash Money Records at age 14, which was for $6,500.

Is 'Birdman' Gay?

Birdman, A.K.A Baby, A.K.A Brian Williams, co-founder of Cash Money Records twitted the photo you can see below some hours ago. What do you think? Is this man Gay? You know the gay alert has been on him all along when photos of him and Lil Wayne kissing hit the Internet some years back. He defended him kissing Wayne as a way of showing fatherly love to his adopted son, Weezy F Baby. And then he dumped Wayne, and started hanging around another suspect looking rapper, Young Thug. And now this picture? Hmm!

Are Birdman and Young Thug Trying to Kill Lil Wayne?

For months now, things between Lil Wayne and his former boss and father figure, Brian 'Birdman' Williams hasn't been so cool. Well, technically speaking, Birdman is still Wayne's boss, cos he hasn't let him out of his contract with Cash Money Records. But, that is not news right now; what is news right now is allegations made against Young Thug and Baby being behind the shooting of Lil Wayne's Tour bus back in April. This is according to Atlanta TV guy, Mike Petchenik.

Check out Petchenik's Tweets to this account below.

What Are Your Thoughts on the Lil Wayne and Baby Beef?

Asides from the fact that they had money issues, no one really knows what triggered the whole Lil Wayne and Baby beef. Wayne is currently on a "Fuck Cash Money" stint, and it is still shocking to me cos of how close he and Baby were. I mean, the man practically adopted Wayne when he signed him to Cash Money at 13 years old. Wayne is meant to be like the heir to the throne. So, what happened to make family members disagree to the point where they can't patch things up?

Just last month, I cut of the oldest friend I have on this earth, so I know no friendship lasts forever; but still, this whole war in the Cash Money empire baffles me. Wayne practically grew up in Cash Money studios, and when everyone left after the fall of the label (around the early 2000s), Baby kept investing his time and money in Wayne. And eventually, Wayne turned around and made millions for the company...virtually carrying the company on his back. And even going on to sign Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Tyga to his Young Money imprint, which raised Cash Money to new heights in the music industry. So, why would money come between this father and son?

Well, on second thought, what could come between father and son if not money, or a woman. We know the first element is there, but some people are making some allegations that Wayne got pissed with Baby when Young Thug came into the picture. People are painting a picture of Young Thug being Baby's new lover...assuming Wayne and Baby were gay lovers. Of course, all that's just rumor anyway.

Right now, I just wonder how they handle business side of things. Lil Wayne is meant to have dropped his Tha Carter 5 album since last year, but because of the whole internal beef thing, the label has put that on hold. And worse, they are planning to release Young Thug's new album, titled Carter 6. Hmm! This is definitely a swipe at Wayne. They are trying to hurt his legacy with this move. Not fair, if you ask me.

I wonder what will happen to the artists under Young Money...Tyga, Nicki, Drake, and the likes...will they go with Wayne when he eventually leaves Cash Money, or will they be held down at Cash Money, contractually? Hmm!

Lil Wayne Nolonger Wants Anything to Do With Baby and Cashmoney Records

Yesterday afternoon, a series of shocking Tweets from Lil Wayne's Twitter handle indicated that he wanted out of his Cash Money contract. Could this be true, or a publicity stunt for his Carter 5 album which is set to drop in a couple of weeks?

Read the series of Tweets before I speak more on this.

Song Lyrics: Only (Nicki Minaj feat. Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown)

This is the latest single off Nicki Minaj's upcoming third album, Pinkprint, which drops next month. Since their is a lot of personal talk on this from Nicki, Drake, and Wayne, I thought it would be cool to share the lyrics here.

Below is the lyrics of Nicki Minaj's "Only" single, which features Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown.

[Verse 1: Nicki Minaj]
Yo! I never fucked Wayne, I never fucked Drake
On my life man, fuck's sake

If I did, I'd ménage with 'em and let 'em eat my ass like a cupcake
My man full, he just ate, I don't duck nobody, but tape
Yeah, that was a setup, for a punchline on duct tape
Worried 'bout if my butt's fake, worry 'bout y'all niggas, us straight
These girls are my sons, John & Kate Plus Eight
When I walk in, sit up straight, I don't give a fuck if I was late
Dinner with my man on a G5, is my idea of an update
Hut-hut one, hut-hut two, big titties, big butt too
Fuck with them real niggas, who don't tell niggas what they up to
Had to show bitches where the top is, ring finger where the rock is
These hoes couldn't test me, even if their name was Pop Quiz
Bad bitches who I fuck with, mad bitches we don't fuck with
I don't fuck with them chickens unless they last name is Cutlet
Let it soak in, like seasoning

And tell them bitches blow me, Lance Stephenson

New Music: Only (Nicki Minaj feat. Drake, and Lil Wayne)

This one features Drake and Lil Wayne, and it has Nicki beating her chest that she never fucked Drake or Wayne...and they confirmed that with their individual verses too. Pinkprint set to drop on the 15th of November...that's in 14 days time.
