Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond's Lawyer Responds to Tupac Shooting Accussations

The lawyer representing Jimmy Henchmen Rosemond has come forward to debunk the accussasion that was made by Dexter Isaac yesterday, claiming that Henchmen had paid Isaac $2,5000 to have the late Tupac robbed and shot. He says it is all lies. By the way, Dexter Isaac is already a convicted felon on other matters, and currently serving life in jail.

“It's a flat out lie," Jeffrey Lichtman told NYDN. "Dexter Isaac is not claiming this 17 years later to clear his conscience. He's doing it because he's told anybody who will listen he doesn't want to die in prison. He has kids and wants to work off his sentence. He can't be trusted."

Well, this was exactly what i said yesterday when i heard about the whole issue. How can you take the word of a man that has been convicted on another case, and is currently serving life...plus 30 years on another charge. He has nothing to loose, and much to gain by coming forward to claim he was paid by Henchmen to shoot Pac. Why didn't he confess all this years? I am sure he was approached by the FBI or so, and giving a bargain. Before we know it, maybe in a couple of years, he would be out of jail, and you would hear some bullshit story about how he was let off on good behavior preferences.

We just have to wait on it, but it is just a pity that Jimmy Henchmen is caught-up in this whole tangle, and when the FBI or CIA want to get a man, there is nothing they cannot do with their power. As i said before, i know there is a possibility that Henchmen might have been involved in some illegal dealings in the past, but i don't believe he had anything to do with the Tupac robbery and shooting.

News now is that he is on the run, i don't know how true that is but i have a feeling that we would hear from him pretty soon saying he knew nothing about it. You can read the news below-

Hip Hop executive James Rosemond (a/k/a Jimmy Henchman) is presently a wanted man. According to AllHipHop.com, the longtime manager of rapper Game, as well as onetime manager for Gucci Mane, Shyne and others is currently a fugitive in the eyes of the DEA and federal marshals.

Earlier this month, Henchman was expected to turn himself in for drug distribution charges. On May 23, the New York-based founder of Czar Entertainment released a statement that he felt that he was a victim of a conspiracy, but would turn himself in if granted a fair trail.

If convincted, Henchman, a 20-year industry veteran, could found up to 20 years behind bars. His whereabouts are presently unknown. HipHopDX will keep you updated.

Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond in Trouble With the Law

Rosemond, who has yet to be located, is being accused of involvement in a drug organization that regularly shipped cocaine and millions in cash between New York and Los Angeles recording studios, using overnight delivery services. TheSmokingGun.com reports that a man named Khalil Abdullah has already been charged with five counts of conspiring to distribute cocaine, distribution, possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit money laundering and obstruction of justice. Several other men have been similarly charged in the case, including Rosemond's brother Kesner, who has reportedly pleaded guilty to cocaine distribution, and another man named Henry Butler, who is cooperating with the DEA in the investigation. Prior to the story making nationwide headlines, Rosemond's attorney addressed the legal matter.
A Federal arrest warrant is out for hip-hop mogul Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, who manages Brandy, Sean Kingston and Akon. Sources say the warrant was issued last week for the Czar Entertainment chief after he was indicted for alleged involvement in cocaine distribution, and he has yet to be located. A law enforcement official confirmed that a fugitive warrant is out for Rosemond. His lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, said, "Although a federal prosecutor has told me that there is an arrest warrant out, they have refused to provide me with the warrant or a copy of the charges." No further details have been revealed as of now.

""With the Name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful I have decided to break my silence to address slanderous media once and for all. Firstly, I want to apologize to every music artist and executive I've worked with. In addition, I apologize to my family and friends who have had to endure this horrible situation," he said in a statement to XXL Mag. "The events over the past week, to say the least, have caught me off guard. Although I have been aware of an investigation-taking place over the last four years, I was never informed that an arrest warrant had been issued in my name. I first learned about that warrant through the media when the news was released last week." (Statement)

He also said the situation is all a part of a large conspiracy to bring him down.
"I would like to expose the two prosecutors spearheading this slanderous and trumped up case against me. The first, prosecutor Todd Kaminsky, is a 33-year-old White hip-hop head that if he weren't a lawyer he would probably be a member of the Beastie Boys. Second, Carolyn Porkony, who failed in convicting the Murder Inc. Irv Gotti brothers on trumped up charges of money laundering. Both have a personal stake in pursuing me and will stop at nothing to bring down an innocent man...Where's the real proof that I have committed these crimes? I just want my fair trial and to not be railroaded as they so eagerly want to do. A fair trial is afforded by the constitution and witnesses should be forthright without pressure or duress. That's all I want and I'll turn myself in today. Again, I apologize to my peers, artists and family for being subjected to all of this." (Statement)
